I wanted to like this so much..I LOVE BREAKFAST. It was busy, I could have sat at the counter or table but I asked which one was quicker.. the hostess said a table is ready. Cool. After sitting, I waited at least 10 minutes to get someone to help. Tons of water girls, & I finally had someone come by. The waiter was busy..honestly..they all seemed a tad frustrated or overwhelmed. Smile y'all, please. As for the food..I finally had my order taken and got my food after sitting for 30 minutes I was uncomfortable by now. I got the farm... Pretty much a taste of everything. It was good, but the waffle was to be desired. I mean..WHY? I got blueberries on it & they were just thrown on there with no sauce compote, so I just drowned with maple and butter (aside from the small amount of whipped cream). Maybe I should've ordered a different waffle but it is known for waffles so there's that. I had to ask for a box cuz it took so long, & I had an appt to get too. I may try again, but gotta give it to Hazels down the road for quick, friendly, service and yummy overall breakfast experience. Both 1st experiences, so there's my take. read more

Ab. So. Lute. Ly. Delicious. We order breakfast from here one morning because of the proximity to our hotel. We got waffles, steak and eggs, sausage, and bacon. While the bacon isn't at the top of my list, everything else was. It was cooked to perfection and made it so we had to go back the next day (were visiting from out of town. Sure beats hotel breakfast!) I'm still trying to convince the husband we need to go one last time tomorrow as well. I have to admit, if I were driving around and saw this place I'd probably keep on driving. Waffles 'N More was recommended by a friend who grew up in the area, so we had to give it a chance. So happy we did! The food was delicious, the staff was uber friendly, and the coffee tasted great. I ordered half of a fruity waffle with huckleberry syrup (raspberries, strawberries, and blueberries hidden under whipped cream), my husband had a meat lovers omelet and waffle. Food came out pretty fast, however we were there shortly after they opened. If we're ever in Lewiston again this is a must stop for great breakfast food! read more

Good food, fast production, and hearty servings. That last is a pun--they give you enough food to induce heart attacks. The take out only bit is a bore. It would be nice to sit and enjoy a meal with a coffee refill or three in this place. I'll bet it can be fun to observe. Only criticism: employees aren't wearing masks, and in the food service sector that is disconcerting. It's done for consideration of others, not your own protection, so be cool and wear one if you're going to be packing up or cooking my food, please. Customers can't separate in the entryway, and nearly none are masked, and it can't be helped. But servers and cooks should still be a step more protective than that. read more

Great little spot for breakfast. Just visiting the area for the weekend and glad I saw this spot. I couldn't choose between two waffles so I got 1/2 orders of the two, both delicious. One was chocolate/peanut butter & the other cheese cake w/huckleberry. I added a side of bacon & it was cooked perfectly. My husband got the eggs Benedict with salmon. Said it was very good also, though the salmon slightly over cooked. Would go back for sure if back on Lewiston. read more

Honestly if you drive by you will think that dose not look like much of a place to eat, but dang there is a line out the door. It must be worth the wait if there are people hanging around outside. you park, get in line and are told it's a 20 minute wait, so you pop a squat on the bench outside and warm up next to one of the heaters on a crisp fall morning and enjoy the cold air as it awakens your lungs. When you're finally called the waitress brings you back to your table, on the way by she grabs the coffee pot and asks you if you want some as you're taking your seat, which of course you do. The aroma fills your nose with triggers that make your brain cells start to dance. You start putting the creamers you like in it and she said she will be right back to take your order. You look over the menu, and to your delight you see they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Trying to decide what it will be is a challenge, a classic hanmber, with all the fixings? Bite size steak? A waffle so loaded you can't even fit an a tire bite into your mouth? when she come back you decide to order the Luper omelet, but you don't like tomatoes or olives with a side of sussage gravy. You also want an waffle and up grade to the cheese cake waffle with strawberry topping. You enjoy the paper while you wait and look out the window at a bird on the ground scavenging. When she brings out your plate, the aroma of the waffle hits your nose, you see the steam still coming off of your food. It the most golden omelette you've ever seen, topped with just enough of the insides to realize this was 100% the best choice you've made this week. On to the waffle, it's piled high with strawberries and whip cream, enough that it must of taken at lest 1/2 of a can of whip cream. You dig in to your waffle after you top it with that gravy that's so filled with sausage it's in every bite. You taste the gooey cheese and German sausage, ham, onion and melted together because it was pre grilled. It's the perfect amount of savory. The waitress drops by and you tell her everything is going fine and that the food is good so far. After you finish your conversation you start in on the waffle and have to come to terms with the fact the cheese cake is creamier than a cheese cake you over night out of a Christmas catalog that costs an arm and a leg and the strawberries and whip cream make it even better. After this experience you realize the food was better than good, it's stupendous. You grab Togo boxes and to your delight when you go up to the counter your waitress offers you a card and let you know it's two punch Tuesday. You start doing take out or going to eat there. Your waitress watches you go from being a single mom, to having a break up, going to college for nursing, to finding the man of your dreams, leaving a job and finding a new one, getting married, having a baby and becomes your baby's Aunty's that they get to go see once a month and you're always greeted by your name. And finally gets to congratulate you because you made it into nursing school. Life is forever changed, and you found a small restaurant that reminds you of the one your grandpa use to take you to in Oregon where they treat you like family. You feel like you have a small little piece of home, and it's all because you decided to try a restaurant out of curiosity. P.s based on a true story. read more

First off...service was top notch on both visits I made. A holiday visit with a small wait, they had a small coffee/drink table with pastries set up for those waiting- this little touch was such a great gesture and the wait went so quickly! Service was amazing- friendly "small town", and we never felt rushed even though they were obviously busy. The waffles were top notch- I recommend the Huckleberry Cheesecake. They are also LARGE- consider a half size! Other highlights included the breakfast quesadilla with some pretty amazing bacon! The salmon eggs Benedict (Benedict royal) was amazing! Definitely a go to place for breakfast and brunch! The only thing I cant reccomend is the coffee, which was just a bit too dark/heavy/stout. read more

Finally rolled through Lewiston and stopped at this gem. It was really good. I was welcomed and quickly seated. It was around 8am, but this place was already getting busy! Luckily, we got a table! The menu is heavenly! Lots of choices: breakfast combos, waffles, french toast and pancakes! The list goes on and on. Prices are also really reasonable. I ordered chicken fried steak. It came with two eggs and my choice of toast and hashbrowns (there are other side options). My hashbrowns were awesome! Crispy, like I had asked for and tasty! The chicken fried steak was a perfect portion; not too big or small. The breading was seasoned and fried well. The gravy needed a little more seasoning, so I added a little salt and pepper. I loved my entree, but as I looked around, I had some food envy over the waffles coming out of the kitchen. The interior is definitely dated, but no one notices with great food and service. Our host was really warm; waitress was not overly friendly, but served us well. No matter what, I'll be back next time I'm in town! read more

Staying in Clarkston for a few days a decided to give this place a try for breakfast. Showed up around 10:00 on a Sunday. The place was packed. But I walked right up to the register and they took my To Go order right away. The guy, I am assuming Manager, was very polite and told me it would be about 15 minutes. So if I wait outside, he will come out and let me know when it was ready. I went outside and they had a table with free coffee and little cupcakes to munch while you waited. There were quite a few folks outside obviously waiting for a table, but there were lots of tables and places to sit while you waited and dipped coffee. After 15 very short minutes the guy came out and told me my food was ready. I paid for the food, the girl at the counter was very nice, and then drove back with the food for my wife, daughter, and myself. My wife got the farmer breakfast, with the hashbrowns crispy. I just got the biscuits and gravy. My daughter got a waffle with mixed berries on it. My wife thought her breakfast was really good, and yes they did get the hashbrowns crispy as ordered. I had the biscuits and gravy which was so so. My daughter didn't care much for the toppings on the waffle. She thought the fruit was probably frozen and thawed. By the looks of it she was probably right, but it still looked pretty good. Overall I have to give them 4 stars. In fact y wife had ego and get breakfast there again on Monday morning.. read more

The reason we chose Waffles Caffe was because it was within walking distance of our motel. The reason I'm writing about Waffles Caffe is because our breakfast there was fabulous! As the name says, they specialize in waffles, although they offer many other options, too. I opted for the waffles, of course -- huge, fluffy waffles, topped with choice of fruit, syrups, or other delectable treats. Looking around as I savored my meal, I could tell the place was popular with locals, too ... various patrons came in, were greeted by name by their waitresses, ushered to their "usual" spot and offered "the regular." This is a very busy place. It is however, very well run. We were seated right at the twenty minute marker and had waters in front of us immediately. Our waitress was energetic, funny and on the spot. I had the eggs Florentine, never tried them before. If that's what they taste like then I want more! The waffles were perfect. Light and airy, crisp and with a little bit of stretch. They are over the top with the toppings. We couldn't see the waffle there so much stuff on it. Everything is huge and perfectly made. My wife loved her scramble, my son loved his meats and egg plate. OMG! We stopped here on our way to McCall and almost didn't stay because it appeared there was a long wait. We were seated in no time, service was excellent and the food was DIVINE!
