I got the BLT Sandwich and it was really good for being so little actual food. Our server was very nice and attended to us just the right amount. The feel we got was basically a rustic "Waffle House". It was VERY loud. So much so that we couldn't have a conversation. The issue is the solid walls and floors and small space. The food at Wafflelicious was delicious! My only issue is being charged a large party fee for a party of 5. My colleagues and I questioned the server. She said 5 or more is considered a large party. I have been to MANY restaurants and dont mind paying a large party fee when it is warranted. A call was placed to the owner by one of our colleagues who has yet to receive a return call however whomever answered the phone confirmed that a large party is considered 6 or more. I am usually a big tipper so there was no need to charge the extra fee to ensure a 20% tip was given. While the food may be delicious and the vibe is cool, check your bill. Yum! We tried Wafflelicious for the first time. Ordered takeout. I got the avocado & egg waffle and lavender latte. Hubby got the longhorn latte and the berry dream waffle. Split the choc croissant. Loved everything. I seek out a good avocado toast (hard to find) and was impressed with the Waffleicious avocado waffle. It was heavenly. The lavender latte was perfect. Not too sweet. Hubby really liked his berry waffle and the Longhorn latte, especially the latte. The longhorn is sweeter than the lavender. The croissant is tasty as well-- comparable to others we've had on town. A new restaurant owned by Fork & Spoon folks. Excellent, excellent to breakfast and lunch. I had the Americano which was 2 eggs, ham or bacon and waffles. I should have been more adventurous and tried the other offerings. My only criticism is that the improvements were not done with the idea of reducing noise. There are no sound reducing materials in the remodel. Perhaps when they update later, they will take that into consideration. It wouldn't be a problem but this is not a place where you order, eat and go. There is lots of room for lots of folks to enjoy the restaurants and its offerings plus visiting with friends. All this adds up to NOISE and often unpleasant noise. Will this keep me from returning? NO absolutely not because the food was excellent, choices interesting and service grand. The place carries on the reputation of Fork & Spoon. Go and enjoy. read more

To begin I'd rate the food a 4, service a 3 and sanitation a 2. The good: Food was very good. Everything we were served was of good quality, prepared well and presented nicely. The not so good or better stated, things that can be improved easily: walked in on Friday about 9:00 AM. There was an uncomfortable amount of time spent between 2 two employees (looked like one was a server one was a bus person) as to where to seat us. Easy fix, Host/Hostess. Or better yet new busy business wanting to establish themselves, how about Manager/Owner. We were sat by the front window and ended up using our napkins to kill three flies buzzing next to us at the window. The fix- pest control. When I unwrapped my silverware to get to my napkin I noticed the silverware was not the cleanest I'd ever seen and marginal to actually being used. I noticed out front a family of six had sat and the father was taking everyone's silverware and wiping it off with his napkin. He eventually gave up and asked for plastic "to go" type silverware. So I wasn't the only one concerned about the cleanliness. At one point I touched the edge of the table and stuck my hand into syrup that had spilled from a previous customer and not cleaned up properly. Server came to our table and asked, what can I get you started with other than waters. Our answer, menus. She was the one who sat us without menus and we had to be asked for them. Our order was taken, let's just say little to no observable training as a server. For instance don't ask customers that you just sat what they need or want without providing a menu. No syrup was served when we ordered waffles. We had to ask for it and on her return trip with it to our table she stopped and had a conversation with another employee. We ended up eating half of our meal before syrup was served to us. Training servers goes beyond teaching them the menu items and how to key punch them in, I don't want to go too deep but a Manager/Owner should be "managing" the employees. Teach them to read a table from across the room. New customers sat down looking around the restaurant with no menus on the table. That's a flag, now fix it. Teach them how you want your tables wiped down between customers. You have a business where syrup is going to spill over the edge of the table. So train them to not just wipe down the top surface but also the edges of the table. What Manager/Owner is looking at the silverware as it comes out of the dish room and is saying, "ya that's good enough". When I as a customer am observing other customers trying to clean their silverware and then giving up and asking for plastic, This can be a very nice place to eat. But please don't let it fail due to unsanitary conditions. Or let fail because of lack of ongoing training. Bottom line is, yes I'd eat there again and I'd recommend it to others, for now. But not if the training and sanitation don't improve. A Manager/Owner especially in a new restaurant should be on the service floor. Either helping the host or being the host. Greeting and talking with customers. Helping busy tables and serve food. Whatever is needed at the time. And making sure your employees are performing up to your standards. Seeing what your customers sees. read more

We went to Waffleicious 3 time prior to today. Each time I ordered the Waffleicious Junior which as a senior allows me a perfect portion. I just don't eat as much as I used to. I was told I couldn't buy the junior meal. I told the waitress I had ordered before but was told no. So today they lost three customers. We are regulars at Wafflelicious. We normally dine there once a week. Today, our friends were to join us. We got there before they did. They were 10 minutes behind us. Husband and I walk in with our Yeti cups - something we have done since the place opened. Hostess immediately told us "no outside food or drinks are allowed in." Okay, returned Yeti's back to the car and returned to restaurant. Then, as our party of 4 was not complete, we couldn't be seated, as they were preparing to be busy. We're talking 10 minutes and we would be starting with our coffee - but no. The restaurant was not busy, nor did the anticipated crowd show up, as we waited outside. Husband called and talked with Management about our experience. Manager doubled down and even threaten that his employees were in deep trouble for letting us bring our cups into his restaurant. He still refused to allow us to sit down, even with all the empty tables. So, we met up with our friends and enjoyed tacos at the Mexican food restaurant at the end of the shopping center. We are no longer customers of Wafflelicious, despite our previous 5 star reviews. read more

The place was great. I expected some "growing pains" but they are well organized, fast, clean, and friendly with fresh food. Son had waffle and eggs for lunch, I got the Cob salad. Both very good!
