I wanna love this place because of the cute decor (all though extremely tacky) and how great the concept is but the execution falls short. The waffle should be nice and hot and it's not, their recipe also should be tampered with to make it fluffy and soft. I RECOMMEND Waffle Magic! Last night, my family (including the four year old) ate at Waffle Magic for the first time. The place had a nice atmosphere and the owner was friendly. There was something for all of us... frozen yogurt (lots of flavors) with tons of toppings, shakes, waffles with toppings, and bubble tea. The Taro bubble tea was great. The waffles were also great and looked just like the photos. The little one had frozen yogurt and was happy too. The owner made the waffles fresh in front of us and the fruit was all fresh. We also received a punch card for future visits. The prices are cheap. Not sure if this place has caught on yet, but it should... it's great. read more

This place has such a variety of things on the menu, which is really great and interesting. I got the oreo special waffle dessert, which was pretty good. But the customer service here is ATROCIOUS. I went with a friend of mine and she asked if she could just get a waffle with strawberries and Nutella on it. the lady at the cash register kep making faces and kept making comments about how weird her order was. she really asked my friend 8 times, why she wants her waffle without anything else on it. and it made my friend feel embarrassed. I asked for no whipped cream on mine and she repeated it back to me and then handed my waffle with whipped cream all over it. i told her i said no whipped cream on it and she said "oh well you never told me". on top of that, the woman there really didnt seem to know what she was doing. one lady waited half an hour for her hot coffee and when she finally got it, it was cold. overall, the customer service here was just poor, the women working behind the counter were rude. i would love to come back and try the other stuff on the menu, but honestly dont want to deal with the rudeness. read more

I only went for their bubble tea this time. I got the jasmine milk tea (4/5) which was pretty fragrant and not too sweet which I liked and the vanilla milk tea(1.5/5)which I did not enjoy, flavor was kinda off and too sweet. The milk teas were made with flavor powder and not real tea. I've tasted many boba teas and these weren't my favorite. I went in there about a month or two ago. I was promised a job and even did three days of training. Training was unpaid which I agreed to because I was promised a job. I was never contacted after my training. I contacted the boss who speaks English and she never responded. I'm going back tomorrow demanding money for the 10 hours I wasted there or a job. I understand I agreed to unpaid training but I understood that if I was getting the job I was told I was getting. I could have made 80 dollars in those three days but instead I wasted my time and basically just volunteered there which was not what I asked for. I'm beyond mad. First time in this place, and must say, I was surprised how good it was. Im not much of a waffle person, but i saw a groupon online so I decided to take my 6 year old and try it out. We each got a combo of a special waffle and bubble tea, and at the price of $9 each, it was a good value IMO. The waffles were very light and flakey, not dense like normal waffles. The toppings were loaded on too and the presentation was on point. I got the Walnut Lover, and would absolutely get it again. The bubble tea was very good. Not a lot of flavor choices, but since they have coconut, it didnt matter to me since thats all I get. If you havent tried this place yet and are on the fence, absolutely give it a shot. read more

There are TONS of "WE ARE HIRING" signs all over, so when I asked for an application on a friday night I was told to come back the next day at a certain time to talk to the owner. I assumed it was an interview-nope they started training me that day. I was told on three different occasions that they would call me the next day to arrange what time I would come in again for another training session. They never did, and I was essentially jerked around, because I would call them and either no one would answer, or they would tell me "The boss isn't here we will call you." They NEVER did. They finally called me three weeks later and asked for my availability, which I wrote down for them TWICE beforehand. i finally told them, "I'm sorry but I can no longer work for you, thank you for the opportunity." Not all containers were washed with soap, some were just rinsed with water. Also, they use the same dirty literal RAG to clean every surface in the store without any sort of cleaning fluid. This rag was also used to squish a bug. Lastly, when there were toppings out of the containers at the topping bar, they were picked up without gloves and put back into the containers, not thrown out. I was only there for an hour of training and I noticed all of these disgusting things. OH and the female owner goes outside to smoke cigarettes and when she comes back in she doesn't wash her hands. Maybe rethink going here. The fro-yo also tastes like chemicals no matter what flavor you get. read more

It's not bad for a waffle place because there really arent many other places in the area with this type of dessert, but the waffles are pretty flat and not like a true Belgian waffle. They really could put some more toppings on there too (I got nutella and peanut butter and the man making it put maybeeee 1 tablespoon of each). Also I got ice cream on top and the ice cream was so hard that it never melted over the warm waffle. It's a fine place if you're not expecting anything outrageous. I went here once on a very busy night. It seemed like a very popular area for small kids as well. There is frozen yogurt, which I did not try, and the waffles. I ordered a waffle. Like I said, it was very busy so it took about 15 mins. after ordering to get the waffle. I thought it was good and the fruit toppings tasted very fresh. The ice cream topping also tasted good. The customer service was great and the workers made sure everyone was taken care of. This is a nice place to try and I was surprised, however, I do not think I will return. Personally, I am not too interested in waffles/ice cream for dessert. I am sure that if you like frozen yogurt and waffles you will really enjoy it though. read more

The waffles are AMAZING, out of this world! They are the perfect balance of waffles and ice cream. I do not like waffles that are too thick and these are a perfect amount for me. Crisp on the outside and fluffly on the inside. They are made fresh in front of you. There are so many waffle sundaes to choose from. The bubble teas are also fantastic! What a great place. Got my groupon and took kids. Manager had no problem taking the two groupons I used at one time. I did go back and had lunch there. I am not a big desert person but the kids loved the desert waffle's. I love the sandwich's. I tried 3 of them and one is no better than the other. They are made to order so be patient. I always get the green tea. Out of this world. The one thing I love about this place they don't load the drinks down with ice. That also true for the ice coffee. If you love your drink colder ask for a cup of ice. I prefer more drink than Ice. I hate paying for ice. Over all staff is wonderful and friendly.
