We didn't stay at the bed and breakfast, but still enjoyed a delightful bite to eat, some refreshing peach tea, wonderful hospitality and best of all, stories. The owners, Scotty and Cathy, live in the home. Scotty was a wonderful host and provided an overview of the home's past, detailed accounts of odd occurrences and pictures of unexplained aberrations. Scotty is a collector and has many of his prized items on display throughout the home. Scotty and Cathy have done a great job preserving the home, its legacy and the charm that is Monticello, FL. In summary, I am glad we went and plan to visit again.
