Food was excellent. Eggs were cooked perfectly, although there was a pool of oil when it came to the table. Hashbrowns were deliciously crispy with perfectly cooked onions and cheese. Stopped by for a quick breakfast today. This is a typical Waffle House, literally looking the same as every other Waffle House you have been too. It was clean and the bathrooms were decent. The restaurant temperature was a bit cold but staff were friendly and attentive. The coffee cups were a nice size but the coffee, a bit too weak for my taste. It had been quite a while since I've dined at any Waffle House (years), and I had been desperately craving their waffles and country ham. This was the first time that I've tried a waffle house that's located up north. Usually, I dine at this chain when traveling towards the south. While I was a bit unsure if the nostalgia and food would be the same, I still decided to give them a chance. I am pleased to inform anyone who's wondering that the food and nostalgia are pretty darn close! The ambiance is just as any other location, a few booth tables, and countertop seating. It definitely still has a quaint diner feel. The only slight difference I noticed in their menu was the choice of ham that is offered (which wasn't a deal breaker by any means) but if you're looking for the country ham that's served in the south, the PA locations don't have that cut but they do offer city ham (smaller portions). Overall, it was delicious. I opted for the classic breakfast option, which comes with 2 eggs, toast, 1 waffle, choice of meat, and either grits or hashbrowns for a whopping $11.00 The price point here has always been fantastic! The service at this location was awesome! Every staff member we came in contact with was extremely pleasant. They all seemed to work very well together. Have been here multiple times. On my last visit, my boyfriend and I both only had a waffle and coffee. We both spent the rest of the evening violently ill. We stopped in at 8 AM on a Saturday morning and were greeted promptly and seated at a booth overlooking the street. Coffees and our drinks were in placed in front of us very quickly, although they did forget to bring us the water we asked for. After being reminded, someone did bring them after we were finished our meal. Why do you come to a Waffle House? It's because you can get a simple breakfast with hash brown fast. Sometimes an experience is defined by one's expectations. This particular Waffle House had tragically low reviews on Yelp. But there are no Waffle Houses in upstate New York. And this was the only one the family was going to pass on the road trip back from Pennsylvania around lunch time. To make the stop even more urgent, our children had no memory of every visiting a Waffle House. I could not imagine a more perfect Waffle House experience. The day we stopped in was the kind of freezing cold day that you really want some hot and hardy stick to your ribs Waffle House comfort. It was so cold that there was a space heater brought in to try and warm up the dining area. Since we came in for a late lunch and were the only ones there, our waitress moved the heater closer to our table. Score. Was the place a little dirty? Sure. It's winter. The floors were a mess. Was there a stray hashbrown bit on the table? Yep. Whatever. Easy to fix. Waffle House isn't for the squeamish. The kids loved their chocolate chip waffles. The side of bacon was truly delicious. All I wanted was scattered hashbrowns smothered, covered, and peppered, with a couple of over easy eggs. And those hit the spot. Not only was the coffee not terrible, but Jessica--who is a total rockstar waitress--offered to give us an extra cup of it to go. We arrived around 7 on a Saturday night. The restaurant was completely empty and we were seated right away. The service was great. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming to us. We ordered a few All Star Special breakfasts and drinks. The food came out hot and relatively quickly. The grits were especially good. Seasoned well and smooth. Definitely seemed like they cooked for awhile. Even better than what I've had in the south. The bathrooms were also clean. A bit on the cold side but clean. I would suggest trying this location. I was the only customer in the place on this slow weekday. So my waitress had no problem keeping my coffee cup filled. My order was taken and filled very quickly, since it was the only one. A perfectly cooked waffle, two fried eggs, toast, hash browns covered and a slice of "city" ham. Also known as the All Star Breakfast. Cooked right, very filling and it kept me going until a late lunch. Four stars for this Waffle House. I don't know what happened...this used to be my favorite Waffle House in the area. It was fast, great customer service, etc. That's definitely NOT been my experience the last 2 visits. It's been slow, understaffed, and the staff was on their phones rather than helping the customers. Me fiancé and I waited 15 min before a waitress brought us silverware. We told her we were ready to order, and she said she'd be right back. 15 min later and nothing. She played on her phone, talked to the cook, took another table's order and only then did she come back to take our drink order....so frustrating!! Some food is made with love, some food is just made, some food is made with DGAF. The food at this location is made with abundant amounts of DGAF. I ordered my hash browns with cheese, onions and jalapeños. The left side of the hash browns had half a slice of cheese on it. The right side had about 3 pieces of chopped onions and 3 slices of jalapeños. The middle 1/3 of the hash browns had no extras. It's like they don't know how to mix things. The Tuesday morning after Labor Day I stopped at this Waffle House where I was a weekly regular since Covid. Nothing seemed to be out of the ordinary until I was rudely turned away by the staff there without explanation. "No service" is the only accurate way to describe the non-person treatment that I received. I was never greeted or had a menu placed in front of me. I was ignored even after speaking directly to one of the veteran staff. I recognized at least three employees who were on staff that day. After the grill had cleared twice and almost everybody seemed to dissappear in the back I left (Never to return). That all took 20-25 mins.. I'm usually not at Waffle House much more than that. Place is awesome, first time ever being to one! I love the little old school diner look, our waitress rocked. What makes it unique is the convenience of the food being delivered to your table from right behind the counter. I felt so bad walking into this Waffle House. ONE person, one person to man the grill, set the tables, serve the food, greet the guests....One Person. A young lady...I wish I could remember her name but I felt for her and from the conversation I overheard, this isn't the first time it's happened. Apparently this waffle house is always understaffed and regardless who calls out, shows up, etc. people are just left alone to man their shift and run the house themselves...not cool. The food was good but the real reason for this review is how awesome this young lady was, shout out to her for having the ability to hold her own without breaking down or breaking a sweat. Waffle House is my savior. After partying late into the night and waking up groggy and hungover, in the sights ahead there was a yellow light reading "Waffle House." I drove towards light with my fellow partiers only to confirm what I knew - this is hangover heaven. Each person got a waffle, as one must always do at the house, but you can switch it up to fancy your unique tastes - choco chip, pecan, whatever you fancy. Also their hashbrowns are the best - crispy and not too oily. I personally like the smothered ones (basically plain, just onions added) but you can get a whole variety with things like cheese, etc added on. Waffle House also has your basic diner foods such as eggs, toast, bacon, sausage, etc. Any combo you want, they will make you. The staff there is extremely nice, but a little unorganized so we never received our bacon but they did take it off our bill which was nice. The waitress I had today gave me my order and my check and walked out for a break. She forgot my silverware and my drink. Another waitress did not hesitate to help me. Living in California it's always a treat to see a Waffle House. It's the perfect drunk food but also tasted on an average day. This is the second time I'm come to this location in a 3 day period. The food was as to be expected and I do love the cheese eggs. A few things that's could be improved upon are attention to detail, professionalism and appropriate workplace conversations. I understand people smoke but as a worker you should be out of sight of patrons coming in. Go behind the building instead of by the front windows. Pay attention to the cleanliness of your dining area. There's food underneath this booth and no one bother to clean it up. And no one wants to hear about your life drama and people in jail. Be professional. Have your side conversations away from customers and on your break. Overall this is a C establishment but I did enjoy my food. read more

The only reason I'm leaving a 5 star review is for Kim, who works at this location. Woman deserves a raise! I went into this location with 8 of my friends one morning before we went to a music festival at Montage Mountain. Kim was the only employee doing anything to turn tables over, and we were a huge party to take care of. Kim was polite, efficient and friendly. She took our orders quickly and I believe she also cooked a lot of the food. The staff working that day was not supportive; Kim single-handedly ran the show. There were two instances when she called on a teammate for assistance, once when another table walked in and again to take the trash out. No one tended to the table that walked through the door even though she asked, therefore losing the table. She also took out the trash. Give Kim a raise and a promotion...better yet, her own franchise. This woman deserves it! read more
