Simple, easy, and fast great breakfast food. I can't complain, this location fulfilled all my expectations and the staff was friendly. It had been a long time since my last visit to a Waffle House and the food hasn't changed a bit, which is a great thing.

I'd never eaten at a Waffle House before. It was pretty much what I expected. It can sctatch that greasy spoon itch like no other. The food came out fast and was what you expected. Would eat at again.

Wow one of the cleanest Waffle houses around! They were wiping things down... no condiments in the tables.. keeping the tables and glass containers verrrry clean. Our waitress had worked here for 30 yrs and was definatly grandmotherd in!! I tried something different today- the Texas Bacon egg & cheese melt on Texas toast. Wow it was a perfect delightful Sammy!! Then I had a Blueberry waffle which is temporary. They put the blueberries IN the mix instead of sprinkles on top! Yum. OEverything was realllly yummy. Bf had his fav the two poke chop breakfast. They also have a new supplier of chops! So they are thicker now and very juicy !!

The spot wasn't anything special, but had great servers who cracked jokes and helped politely answer questions! Some friends and I stopped here after heading back from a Chiefs game. It was my first time ever at a Waffle House and I know there's a certain hype about it. The food is really bang for your buck (especially the All-Star combo, SHEESH). All of my buddies got different hashbrown bowls but they were all really good. A friend of mine recommended asking for gravy on top of it and it was a game changer. Overall, solid stop on the way back to Omaha!

It's your basic greasy spoon place...but franchised. A good pit stop for the folks using the KCI/MCI Airport, especially if you're catching a red eye flight.

On our way down to the Kansas City International airport when we stopped at Platte City for breakfast. We don't have Waffle houses in Omaha. We arrived early morning so no problem with seating. The waitress took our order right away and the food came out quickly. Food was good, service was fine. Overall ok. Th food hit the spot and we were in and out. I took pictures of some of our meals and one from the men's bathroom where they hid a mouse trap inside the toilet brush holder which caught my interest.

(Especially in this economy) While ordering online, be aware that the time it says on the ordering portal/site is not generally accurate. I, on multiple occasions, have ordered something with a specific pick up time selected (I left plenty of time, thirty minutes from when I ordered to when I wanted to pick it up) and the food still was not ready. Ex: ordered at 11:30 am, pick up time of 11:55-12:00, food was ready closer to 12:10 and I received the 'your food is ready text' at 12:45 pm. While this isn't a bad thing if you have time, if you're on a tight lunch schedule I'd look otherwise. This location is also a bit smaller than their Parkville location, so if it's crowded it's very noticeable and can get a little overwhelming. I do prefer the Platte City location to Parkville though, as their Parkville location doesn't do that good of a job when I order online (this may just be me but I have to take it into consideration). Overall, I do recommend it, just be aware that it is pricey, when packed it can get a little overwhelming, and be aware of how long you have to eat.

I love the various options on their menu. They serve a variety of deli meats and cheeses, available to go as well as on sandwiches. The wall of chips is impressive too! I ordered a toasted plain bagel, perfectly golden, along with a white chocolate macadamia nut hot drink. The bagel was incredibly fresh, with a warm, slightly chewy texture reminiscent of homemade bread. My drink was made with half the usual sweetness, using creamy oat milk, and had a rich, balanced flavor that was very satisfying. Next time I'll plan to get a cinnamon roll - those are huge and look delicious!! I plan to add this place to my coffee-and-breakfast routine.

The service was good and the TREX store fun. We also visited the antique mall across the street, which was pretty cool. The pancakes were to die for. I only eat them a couple times a year so this place will stay on the list for good ones. It wasn't too loud so you could have a conversation and the booths were comfy. We were seated quickly, which was a plus, but the place was surprisingly empty for a weekend brunch. The decor is very dated, think cheap country-western vibes with photos of locals on the walls, like stepping into a time capsule. Our server was prompt with our drink orders. I got an iced tea, and my wife ordered a hot tea, both of which arrived quickly. They took our food order efficiently too, so no complaints about the service speed. For food, my wife went with a breakfast scramble served with an English muffin, and I ordered a ham and cheese omelet with hashbrowns and toast. The food came out hot and fast, but that's where the positives end. My wife's scramble looked nice but lacked flavor and was overcooked to the point of being hard. The English muffin was just okay, nothing special. My omelet was a letdown. It had a single slice of unmelted cheese slapped on top, barely any ham, and the egg was dry and tough. The hashbrowns were undercooked, and the toast was dry as well. Overall, not a great experience. If you're starving and have no other options, Roxanne's might do in a pinch, but don't expect much. We likely won't be back unless we're desperate.

They have a legit mixologist on duty at the right time, and a curated menu that hits most of the right notes. Service is also light, so there is a wait between seating, ordering and delivery. Despite that, what you see on the interesting menu is worth the time invested. I had their Ultimate Grilled Cheese Sandwich with Sweet Potato Fries. It may have been the best grilled cheese I had ever eaten in a restaurant (my homemade version is still my favorite). This baby is actually an inverted griller. The cheese is melted on the outside of the multigrain, with delicious sautéed onion bits and spices within. Each bite was a crisp cleave with lovely crunch from first to last. The fries were also crisp and tasty. Looking around the bar where I was stationed, the other folks also had good looking plates to consume. Everyone seemed relaxed and satisfied. Conversation was likewise friendly and interesting. On a quiet night, our bartender was pulling double duty, tending bar and waiting tables with a smile. He was friendly, capable, and making it work. That kind of effort deserves recognition. Cudos. The food was acceptable, and honestly for a convenience stop while traveling, it does the job. My one genuine complaint -- and I'll own it as a pet peeve -- is the French Dip. What arrived was a chuck roast sandwich on sliced toast with au jus. The meat appeared to have been processed rather than pulled, giving it a texture somewhere between shredded and ground. It tasted fine. That's not the issue. The issue is the name. A French Dip is thinly sliced roast beef, or even prime rib, on a French roll with au jus -- a classic with a specific identity. What was served, while a perfectly respectable dish in its own right, was not that. Call it a homestyle chuck roast sandwich, a braised beef dip, anything honest -- and there is no complaint. But borrowing the French Dip name sets an expectation this dish simply does not meet. Rename the sandwich and this becomes a solid three-star airport-adjacent hotel restaurant. The effort is there. The honesty in the menu just needs to catch up.
