Waffle House has become an iconic part of the landscape of the southeastern United States. These yellow neon lit buildings have fed countless road weary travelers, families with laughing children in tow, late night revelers and people from every walk of life. My go to choices are either the patty melt or one of their egg and meat breakfast options. But for me the big allure here has always been their hash browns. You can get the hash browns topped with a variety of toppings, you can't go wrong with chili and cheese, but really it is whatever talk to your heart. I guess you might find it odd that I have never had the waffles at a business where waffle is in their very name of the business but I am just not into the sweet type breakfasts. Whether waffles are your thing or not, I would recommend visiting a Waffle House, this location or any of their locations. read more

While I wanted to like this place, one thing that is a pet peeve of mine is dirty utensils. The table was set when we sat at the booth and there was literally a pinch or so of salt chilling in the spoon on my side. We ordered and our food came out pretty quickly. It seems like a well oiled machine and everyone mans a station (one guy did waffles. Etc) The second dirty item they handed me was the plate that had my eggs; there was a dark brown mark along the edge. The food was cooked perfectly... The left back section was roped off so no one could sit (wasn't a big deal as it was not busy)... But 2 women with 4 small children (2 in car seats) came in and sat in the closed off section. They had not ordered food while we were there but one of the ladies proceeded to change a diaper at one of the booths. They also parked blocking the entrance door. I went to this location last night 5/6/23 and it was very dirty with dishes all over the countertop and I sat down to order and was ignored. There was a separate to go line. After a little bit I was asked if I wanted to order to go or for here and I said here then was totally ignored several people came after I did and they were helped. There was even another waitress that just stood around and then started helping the people who came after I did. I ended up just walking out. They won't get my business read more

If I could give it a zero stars I would. Our order came in pieces. So we couldn't eat anything together. I ordered fried eggs hard and I got flattened scrambled eggs that were runny. The waitress ordered me more and the second set came and it looked like fluffy scrambled eggs that had been flattened with a spatula. I called the manager over and he argued with me. Told me I was wrong. I told him fried eggs were NEVER fluffy. I told him to keep his eggs and walked out and left my husband to pay. I wouldn't take my dog back to that place to eat. read more

On our Summer Vaca, Ci kept bugging to go to Waffle House so I thought I would get it out of the way right away! I am not a fan of Waffle House food and the last time I ate in one was in Albuquerque, NM about 9 years ago but NOTHING has changed. We sit at the counter because that's the deal I made with Ci. If I am going to eat subpar food, I want the experience. I want to connect with the servers, patrons, and the cooks while sitting at the counter. I enjoyed every person I talked to! The servers were the usual surly, gruff, redneck type and the cooks were probably all on probation for something but it was great! The food was what you would expect. Same shit, different Day! I got a waffle, hashbrowns, and coffee. I do like the hashbrowns at Waffle House. I wont eat meat here but that's me and my phobia of meat. Ci had a standard breakfast of eggs, toast, meat, etc. and it was fine. So long Waffle House! Unless my offspring makes me go again, you probably won't be seeing me anytime soon! read more

My mother left Savannah this morning and stopped here to eat. Three employees were standing in the lobby and when she entered they told her they couldn't serve her because they had dishes to wash and were too busy. She was forced to eat in her car while they stood around and talked. I am contacting the corporate office because she feels she was racially targeted. read more

Today 10/04/2022 at 1pm I walked into the waffle House for an interview which was Scheduled via text message through Mrs.Bonnie. As I entered the restaurant there were 5 people Earl who was washing dishes and to my left 2 employees and two customers, Earl asked how can I help you I said hey I'm here for an interview he kept washing dishes for a few seconds and said again ma'am how can I help you ? I said sir I'm here for A interview as I proceeded to show him the messages he said MAA'AM I KNOW THAT AND WHY SHOULD I HIRE YOU? Feeling embarrassed and hurt because everyone was looking I begin to explain he cut me off every time so as I held my head down with tears in my eyes I said sir it's ok because I felt shamed like I missed the ------- only sign are something so as I'm walking out he yell's MA'AM YOU HAVE A GREAT DAY. The only employee that even remotely cares is the young man who took our order, I believe his name was RJ or something. The food was the WORST and our eating utensils were dirty! The table's looked like they hadn't been wiped in days and ants were climbing all over the window sills!! I ordered an All-star with over easy eggs. I was served raw egg whites that spilled all over the plate. I asked for them to be cooked more since over easy is cooked whites and runny yoke. The cook was literally right in front of me and talked to the waitress as if I didn't exist. He said I wanted over medium eggs; I said no, the yolk should not be cooked just the whites. It went back and forth a couple times until he brushed me off, and then he cooked them again. I voiced my displeasure to the waitress who apologized. Do yourself a favor and eat a protein bar from the gas station next door instead of stopping in here. read more

Terrible experience! Stood waiting for a table (many tables/seats available) to be cleaned off for 10 minutes. 3 different employees made eye contact with me and then turned away unconcerned about my family of only 3. I am a patient person, and have worked in the service industry but this was rude and disrespectful. I know breakfast places are busy in the morning but there were MANY dirty tables available with more than ample staffing to have someone bussing.
