Food is hot plentiful and fresh. Owner, Donnie, is an amazingly talented cook, and the ambiance is infectious with family.

Awesome experience every time. The staff is always very friendly and accommodating. (Something that is severely lacking in so many other places)The food is always on point. One of the owners always makes a point of saying hi and thanking you for your business. After we discovered they weren't at the address in Yelp, we drove another 10 minutes to their location in downtown Brooklet. (The address has been updated.) Cute decor in this restaurant. Self service for drinks, napkins, condiments, etc. Order at the counter and they bring your food to you. Nice variety of sandwiches for the lunch crowd. I had the chicken philly with fries. The sandwich was loaded so much, the hoagie couldn't hold it up. Very tasty. The fries were average - if they had cooked a minute more, they would have been crispy. My guest had a basic burger and liked that it was served on Texas toast vs a bun. We enjoyed our lunch but it would have been much nicer to have some table service at least for drinks. They have the cutest dishwasher in the land! I'm sure this young boy is the owner's son. He came out to look around and waved at us. Sweet After lunch, we enjoyed walking around the small downtown area. Not a lot was open but it was a nice walk on a beautiful fall day. We arrived after enter breakfast cut off but since it was our first time, he was going to accommodate. We ended up with a pizza and quesadillas. And a side salad. We came up to Brooklet to escape Hurricane Milton in Florida and decided to try out the Roundabout Cafe for dinner after seeing the reviews on Google. It was delicious! We ordered the Ultimate Ham N Cheddar pizza, the Chicken Hibachi Bowl, and a Chicken Cordon Bleu Sandwich with French fries. Everything was fantastic. My seven year old daughter rated the sandwich a 12/10! The staff were so friendly and helpful and we had a fabulous experience. The Round About Cafe has moved into Brooklet and opened their restaurant on East Lee Street. Who know? The change to rip everything out, start anew, and build from the ground up appears to have worked miracles because the meals we have purchased have been way above our expectations. The sandwiches were delicious in every way: excellent locally-sourced meats, fresh hoagie buns instead of soggy buns as are served so many places. Another restauirant had opened here over a year ago, and they were so bad that im not sure most people notice when they disappeard. From what ive eaten so far, im thinking ill eat here aften enough, and tell my friends, that they should keep busy, and who knows, maybe even expand next door. Do you love finding off the map places to eat? Well this is one. It's building is connected to a gas station (yes, that's when you know it's reallllll good). However, the inside is charming! Country little counter with cute decorations. Place was very clean! To order you walk up to the counter and then it's delivered. I ordered the biscuits and gravy and a side of cheese grits. The biscuits were amazing. Like amazing! Listen no matter what you order a biscuit with gravy belongs on the side. They lost a star though because the grits were horrible! Thick, chunky, and flavorless. I was severely disappointed as the rest of the food was amazing. Everyone else walking in seemed to get the breakfast sandwiches. Hence next time I go back with be for a sandwich with a biscuit on the side. The servers are the sweetest people! Kind hearted came to check on us and our food. What a great find! We were looking for a good Sunday breakfast brunch spot and this place exceeded expectations! They have delicious breakfast options. We ordered and would recommend: the breakfast burrito with steak, a bacon egg and cheese which my husband loved and an egg and cheese which my seven year old devoured! We also had walnut pancakes which we shared and were delicious! The coffee was really good as well. The place is very clean, I noticed they wear masks in kitchen which I appreciate and (honestly we should do that post covid in all restaurant kitchens) and the staff are so nice! Place got bad when they moved to Brooklet. Burgers and sandwiches are ehh. Place is always empty.

So glad we choose to check out the Roundabout Cafe this morning for breakfast before hubby's doctor appointment! The cafe is the right hand side of the gas station with nice wooden tables for seating in booths and tables. Clearly a local favorite where regulars are called by name but first timers are made very welcome. The breakfast burrito was awesome - posted a photo. Stuffed to the max and d-licious! Sausage gravy biscuit was also great. Two thumbs up from both of us. Coming back for lunch after the appointment. And...now that we've come back for lunch, I can report that the Phillie cheesesteak and Rueben were just as good as the breakfast we had earlier. And the chocolate cheesecake we had for dessert was heaven. Long trip back home (4 hours) but nice to know where a good local place to eat is when we come back again in the spring. read more

I always like to check out Yelp when I'm looking to try something new. Found another hidden gem in Statesboro GA! Surprised when I showed up and just a few tables, but thankfully while we were in line placing our order, a table opened up. Had the roundabout platter with applewood smoked bacon, eggs, toast and hash browns. Toast was more like Texas toast-yum! The hash browns were seasoned to perfection and crisp. This place has the sweetest little staff in the world and it's very low hustle and bustle. Cute and clean interior; definitely makes you feel at home. The chefs are open to take requests if there is something you want that isn't listed in the menu. DELICIOUS breakfast!!! Reasonable prices for good portions. Have been to Roundabout serval times now and each time is a treat, but today on the way back from some Sunday office work when I see the OPEN neon still glowing warmly! Hours here say 2:00 close on Sunday, what luck! When I got to the door I could see chairs put up and several cleaning up like Home was just minutes away. A friendly young lady unlocked the door and told me they were good till 2:30 and another friendly guy chimes in that they could get me whatever I needed and I was free to sit wherever I wanted to eat. I ordered take-out for Home, our regular Reuben and added two Chicken Avacado melts all with fries. Chatted with some regulars while I waited and there were comments on Bullet our Chiweenie looking intently in from the truck window. I took them out to meet Bullet and they were thrilled and a bit sad as they had a similar little kid pass away a few months ago. Our food carefully packaged for take-out was brought to the door and Bullet enjoyed greeting more folks outside. A great experience with wonderful people making amazing food at a perfect place for their cafe! And I still have not tried their breakfast... Soon! Though there's a bit of confusion, this is the original, one & only Roundabout Cafe. Locally owned & owner-operated, the food is great, the service incredibly friendly & they genuinely care! We split a breakfast burrito (pro tip: ask for a side of their homemade salsa verde to accompany) & a short stack of their walnut pancakes which were candied walnut pieces hugged in fluffy buttermilk flapjack goodness with real butter & syrup to accompany. Though there are comfortable inside tables & booths, we opted to eat outside at their two-top cafe tables with umbrellas to enjoy the amazing weather. This place is a local gem! read more

We dined at the new location in Brooklet this morning. We were greeting with friendliness, warmth, and welcoming smiles. The manager came and introduced herself. The food was really good. We both ordered the breakfast platters. I only wish I'd ordered the "hash browns" as my husband did because they were breakfast potatoes cooked with onions and peppers and were delicious.
