Update to my first review - I spoke to Waffle House district manager Tobie Farmer about our bad experience, and he was quite apologetic. He said he would review the video from the night in question and take appropriate action. He also asked that we give them another shot, and the meal would be free. So we went back tonight and had a very pleasant experience. The cook, Chris , cooked our orders perfectly. Desiree (hope I got the spelling right) was very sweet and attentive. It seems as though Tobie's corrective actions worked. We're glad the situation improved, as this location has always been our favorite Waffle House. We will definitely be back! read more

David and Ivey really helped turned my day around. I found out horrible news about my mother and I desperately needed to eat and just sit for a minute. These are the employees you would like to take care of your guests. Not only were they kind, they were genuine and truly the best kind of people for the industry. I also work in a restaurant. If I could leave 0 stars I would. I went there for a take out order and they took other orders first and gave me the wrong order. I was charged for ham and eggs and was charged for it. When I got home there was no ham steak. They were rude, nasty, and took twenty minutes for this simple order. Will never go to this Waffle House again. read more

I order the $3 Sausage, Egg (egg over easy), Grit bowl with sausage on side (don't eat pork), plus double hash brown smothered, covered and capped. Waitress was very nice, everyone here works as team. Just hate that if I don't order the bowl the way I do, which mean meat is going to waste. I just wish I could order the same bowl and say hold the meat but there is an up charge to not except meat. Plus now there is a fee to order To Go, and Take out of extra $4. ‍ Wish there was more REAL VEGAN options and Real Flavored cream for coffee. read more

I can't say enough about the ONE MAN SHOW that was running this Waffle House. Not only did Jason greet everyone that walked in, he cooked everyone's food to perfection, was kind and courteous every second of the way and didn't seem bothered by the fact that he had to take orders, cook the food and run the food. I go to Waffle House for good tunes and food that will stick to your ribs. This one did not have the jukebox online and when I went over to it only had cash inserts, no cards. Haven't had cash since the 90's. So everyone sat in silence and ate. Super awkward and a horrible experience. read more

Went here with some friends a few weeks ago. It was late at night of course. When we walk inside, every single table was filled with used plates and silverware and not a single person acknowledged us. I swear I got some rolling eyes and that's it. There was a group of teenagers in there, don't know if they had just ate, but it seemed more like they were just hanging out, not at the tables, just in in the middle right by the entrance. Waited inside for a good 5 min for them to say something or clear a table or anything. No acknowledgement, just acted busy. One guy was sitting at one of the booths the other two weren't even cooking anything. I would have been fine with just doing an order for pickup, but I had called 20min before arriving and they said they weren't doing that. read more

It's a waffle House so I don't​ expect much and neither do they. I was served dead meat. Not only was this meat dead it was spoiled dead meat. Why is their food cold one minute after it leaves the grill? The grits...are lumps necessary? What is the recipe? Dump grits. Add water. Walk away. Serve. This waffle house location is great not only because of it's convenient location to where I live but because the staff is always energetic and happy to service you, and it is also very clean. Most waffle houses take a few minutes before they'll come and wipe down your table but they do it really speedy so the next guests can enjoy their experience as well as the one before them. I haven't had any complaints with their food because it is always cooked just right and when you called in an order they'll ask you when will you be in the area so that your flu can be fresh when you come to pick it up. The only downside is the parking lot is really small so, some mornings it's really hard to find parking to get in, but once you get in is well worth it. read more

Waffle House makes me nostalgic about my college days and late nights, sometimes a combination of both. There are a few criteria I use to judge a Waffle House: Cleanliness: This location was clean. No bleach smells, no bugs, and no sticky tables. This place almost seemed new. Food: Hashbrowns were more wet than I usually have them but that's probably because it was served quickly, smothered and covered. Service: Awesome. Our waiter had a "Bob Dole" nametag (which obviously wasn't his name) who was happy to tell us why he picked "Bob Dole." He said it was from a "Family Guy" episode and instantly, Waffle House was fun. Sometimes the staff can make/break a Waffle House. Go say hi to Bob Dole if you go! read more

Excellent service every time. The food is consistently great and we enjoy going there Sundays.

After not going here for a long time I remembered why I rarely go to this one. Apparently it depends on who's working that day how your service will turn out. They seem to have no shortage of employees--about as many employees as customers, however trying to get any of them to the table is another story. They literally had to finish their talking before bothering with the customers. I will add that I came here another time and the service was superb, again, depending on who's working and who's "working" that day. The food is good. read more

Extremely bad experience. I love eating at Waffle house love the food and the staff that I have encounter. This particular location is a no go, there where about 8 customers not busy, 4 staff members including the cook, food took about 35 min to be served, I ordered the all star with hash browns, the first thing that was served was bacon, BURNED as hell, then after 10 min of bacon being served the waffle comes in, of course I am waiting foe the rest, by the time that eggs and bead came in , bacon was cold and crunchy as ice, waffle was warm, when I saw the bread it had enough butter to butter 2 breads. The wife ordered the same but with sausage and her waffle was pecan, first thing served to her was sausage, they look like hokey pock burned and with a 1/4 sausage missing, looks like the cook was hungry and ate a peace. not only that they took another 5 minutes for the waffle to come in as they brought the wrong waffle. by the time we was 1/2 way the meal both meals were cold as it can be. When I paid that for some reason was the only FAST thing that was taken care. I will never ever ever ever be back to this location, and it is sad as it is the closest to my house. As soon as we walked in the cook and server had major attitude. The cook started slamming stuff and dropping silverware and that in turn gave the server an attitude. The steaks came first and then the meal and my salad came last which was just lettuce, no onion or tomatoes or cheese like the picture. I rate this place very poorly. read more

What most people don't know is that when you get Waffle House take out / pick up, they always add 18% to the total. In fact, my experience is that most WH employees don't want you to know this so they won't show you the bs handwritten invoice when you go in to pick up the food. Then, I was asked if I want my money in all ones or a $5 bill for my change. Are you kidding me? You think that you can pull one over on a customer? Sigh... Best WH I've ever been to. The staff all worked as a team and the cooks were great. One Cook was brand new but the more experienced Cook was extremely helpful and supportive of him. Got my food very quickly and made very well. I wish I had enough money to tip every member of the staff $100 but I don't so I'm leaving this in lieu. read more
