As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by Krista immediately (who also turned out to be the bartender who made fabulous Margueritas) with a smile and an offer as to our table preference. We chose a booth and so glad we did. The booths are beautiful wood, high backs, comfy space and seating. We had the feeling of being in our own little world while also appreciating the friendly, open, clean, comfortable space of the restaurant as a whole. We loved the open kitchen and a view of everyone working to bring us our drinks and food at a perfect pace to relax, chat, eat and enjoy. Our waiter, Zach, had great timing throughout our meal. It was fun to watch him at a bigger table near us with adults and children having a celebration. He seemed to be enjoying them as much as they him. When my sons were young, waiters that included them personally in the experience meant a lot to me rather than talking over them or not addressing them. He was just as personable with us and it was sincere. He also was so helpful with our questions about the menu. We had never had bison before and Zach was detailed in his description, making that a clear choice for our meat. I had a bison filet and my husband a bison burger. Zach also detailed the different Margueritas when we asked and we each ordered and got exactly as he described it. We are going back and flipping our drink order because we liked them both so much. Shout out to Krista for a perfect, IMO, salted rim!The manager, Samantha also came by to talk to us and make sure we had a good experience. I had seen her in the kitchen as well, so I was impressed that she was a "roll up her sleeves and get in there" manager. Having had restaurant experience from the bottom to management myself light years ago I really appreciated that. She was delightful to talk to, sincerely interested in us as people as well as customers. Great sense of humor.Because we had such a great experience, we are going back there again this weekend. I obviously think anyone reading this should make plans to visit this restaurant in Kennesaw soon.I was able to express my compliments to the cook on our way out easily with the open kitchen design. It was a pleasure to let him know how incredible everything we ordered was. His warm smile was a lovely way to end a perfect evening.

Food is good, if you can get them to cook it properly. Went for dinner had to send back 3 bison…read moresteaks due to them being underdone (medium rare was the ask), it came still "running the prairies". Ordered the Knife & Fork Bison burger, also underdone (medium ask). Was out of Baked potatoes, no big deal got offered load mash potatoes, asked for no sour cream yet it came loaded with it, sent it back to receive another covered in some strange cheese sauce (didn't eat it). As good as it is, it's not worth food poisoning or wasting money. All meals for me end up half served and or not eaten. These were standard request. Until they find chefs that can cook properly go anywhere else!!!

I came in here on a Monday night for a burger, beer, and football... and that's exactly what I got!…read moreI love that they have a couple TVs by the bar area to play sports on but not necessarily around the whole restaurant... so you can really pick what type of vibe you want depending on where you sit. Please note that the parking is mostly street parking here! I ordered the smoked Gouda smash burger which came with fries. It was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I did order a plethora of sauces since I'm a sauce girly. My favorite sauce had to be the dark beer mustard and the BBQ Ranch (this was really surprising for me but the dill in the ranch took the cake for me)... but honorable mentions go out to the garlic aioli, smoked paprika aioli. Fries were cooked perfectly. Beer was delicious and local! THE PICKLES HERE ARE AMAZING AND MADE IN HOUSE. The bartender (I think his name was Lou) was super friendly and had me engaged the whole time. I will definitely come back here again next time I'm in town.

EVERYTHING was delicious! How does a smokehouse + BBQ spot make THE best veggie burger?!? So yummy!…read more Yes, we also had the fried appetizer platter . AND turnovers - to go - for dessert. Dakota took such great care of us! This place was busy but we had no problem being seated and had the best service. We'll definitely be back again!

We were a party of 4 and this place was BUSY with the afternoon crowd…read more Still, we were promptly seated and taken care of. The asparagus fries are DELICIOUS and while everyone else seemed to be very pleased their meals + the serving sizes, my quinoa dish left MUCH to be desired. I was still hungry after an entree *and* side item . Overall, not a bad experience. Just not sure I'd visit again considering the lack of veggie options.

However, what truly stood out to me was how the situation was handled afterward. During my next visit, the manager Danielle personally came to our table to apologize, take accountability, and ensure that we felt valued as longtime customers. Her professionalism, genuine concern, and willingness to address the issue spoke volumes about her leadership and dedication to customer service. Situations can happen anywhere, but great management is what makes the difference, and she handled it exceptionally well. I would also like to give a special shoutout to our favorite waitress, Ashley. She has always been amazing, attentive, and consistently goes above and beyond to make sure we are well taken care of. Her friendly personality and excellent service are a big reason why we continue to return, and we always ask for her whenever we visit. Thank you to the management team and to Ashley for reminding us why we've remained loyal customers for so many years.

I think I'm being generous with a 3 rating…read more There were 10 people in our party and in general, they were 'okay' with the experience. Personally, my food was less than avg. Had a #6 (taco and enchilada). The taco came in a separate dish (okay) but fell apart when I tried to pick it up. I've eaten Mexican food for 50 years and this was the worst I've ever had (not kidding). The enchilada was cheese and there was plenty but it was about as dry as it could be. A little sauce would have definitely helped. The server was very attentive on the front end. When we were done, I had to flag the manager for our checks. He got right on it but 10 minutes later we were still sitting there, waiting to pay. I had to flag the manager down again. This was unacceptable. Even with 3 stars, I would never eat here again.

Each one was so tasty and flavorful! We found Zama on Yelp. We traveling from Florida to home. It was our first visit, which Dylan asked about.
