One of the smallest Waffle Houses I've seen in this country but what huge impact. From the second we opened the door they welcomed us with a beautiful smiles. The staff were quick to attend us and the energy in the place was graceful. Although they were busy you can tell the staff were having fun and working at the same time from the energy you see in the room. It felt like an authentic small town diner, it was wonderful. Our food was done quickly in a matter of 5 min. And no the food was not over cooked or undercooked it was made to perfection. Needless to say we will be coming back again on our trip to Georgia next time around. We highly recommend this location, and hope others enjoy it as much as we did.

Since my friend has never ever ever ever been to a Waffle House. So, since we are in the state where this joint began. It's only proper that we take her here. So,, I did steak and eggs which is my usual. She did her own thing because she's one of those finnicky eaters that annoy me. She did order a Waffle tho, just because it's the "Waffle House." Anyways,, steak and eggs are always a favorite for me. Medium rare which is done pretty good. Plus my grits are always a wonderful thing. Mix my eggs in with it and toss some grape jelly, ketchup and I'm in South heaven. It's always a pleasure to come here. I always enjoy my dining experience here. The service is always top notch and the food comes fast and hot. Thank you for reading my review. I hope this helps. Enjoy your awesome yelptastic day!

    Transactions where she committed fraud!

The young black girl that works here is the reason this store gets 1 star (prefer zero). I walked in to this store to see the girl sitting at the register with her feet propped up on the counter, on her phone. Without zero greeting, "Are you placing a togo order?" I said yes. She said " go ahead." I asked for a pecan waffle, hashbrowns covered, and a Dr Pepper. "We dont have Dr Pepper, only Coke products." I said " Ok Pibb Extra please." As she gets up she yells for the employee in the back to come out, I presume so they could fix my order and she could continue sitting there. However, she quickly changed her mind and got up to start fixing my food... WITH ONE GLOVE ON. As I am waiting, two hispanic men walked in and she abruptly told them they needed to be wearing masks. As they started walking to a booth, one of the gentlemen was trying to get her attention to ask for a menu. She turned around from making my waffle and yelled " Hold on!" and "The menus are on the table." She rolled her eyes and went back to fixing my food. Upon finishing my food, instead of placing the food in front of me, she says " Your food is over there" pointing towards the end of the counter. So I walk to the end of the counter, where she slams the receipt down and a pen along with it and tells me to "sign this." I signed my receipt. I LEFT ZERO TIP. My total was $9.79. Photo included below. I gathered my belongings and walked out without even so much as a thank you or anything. Aside from this HORRENDOUS customer service, this girl committed FRAUD. She took it upon herself to add a tip to my receipt so I was charged $12.79 instead of $9.79. I have NEVER been so angry in my life. And thanks to this little witch, I have to contact my bank. And because she had the worst attitude, she will now get to have a police report filed on her behalf for being a thief! Do not go here unless you want the worst service possible!!!! Corporate will also hear from me about this girl. She clearly does not need to be in a service industry.

Not feeling like a $20 plate of buffet scrambled eggs at the hotel, I opted to head across the street to the Waffle House. One of the very standardized chains as far as their menu and the staff they hire, there are good WH's and there are bad WH's. And sometimes, a good one is good in the morning and is bad at night. And the reverse. This morning's visit was a pecan waffle (not pee-can, it's puh-cahn) with hash browns smothered and chunked. There were only two other customers in the restaurant when I arrived, both professional looking dudes in dress shirts. When I left, I was the only one there. A little weird for what should be prime breakfast hour. I didn't find it to be a stinky dump and the service was just fine - my waitress took my order and prepared it herself (the regular cook had stepped out), delivered it to me, and kept my coffee cup filled. Most of the Waffle House parking lots are easy to get to with larger vehicles. This isn't one of them. It's a tight turn and I wouldn't want to be here with anything bigger than an SUV.

Hash brown bowl with sauteed onions and country gravy

Service was lacking, but food was great and plentiful! My friends and I got dinner here on a Wednesday evening -- a totally normal dinner at a totally normal dinnertime, but we received oddly annoyed and impatient service that would be understandable if we were stumbling in wasted and rowdy on a Saturday night... except that we weren't. However, it was functional service and we received our orders accurately and in a timely manner. However, the restaurant was clean/organized and the food was awesome. Huge portions for the price!! I ordered the hashbrown bowl and added sauteed onions and country gravy, and it was easily enough food for three generous meals. Favorite aspects of it were the flavorful sausage and thick country gravy! It definitely hits the spot for hearty & filling breakfast food, and it's comforting that it's attainable 24 hours a day.

As I was preparing my coffee, the customer behind me--who appeared to be of the same race as the cashier--also ordered an orange juice. I immediately stated that I had already been sold an orange juice and asked what I was expected to receive. I was then told I could have apple or cranberry juice instead. This interaction left me confused and concerned, as the only apparent difference between how the two transactions were handled was race. Regardless of intent, the situation gave the clear impression that I was treated differently based on skin color. Experiences like this are unacceptable and deeply troubling. All customers deserve equal and respectful treatment. If you are tired of racism in any way shape or form stand up and do not support this. The children's options are a great value if you have a little one. My only concern is that when we went in on our first go, I know that I ordered French toast for my child. When the waitress brought out our food, my child had pancakes. When I brought the error to her attention, she seemed rather quick to say I was wrong about this. I let it slide because we're not going to have a giant argument in a restaurant with wait staff over a small infraction like this. I get the feeling that our waitress may have an issue with accountability and would've continued to argue had I not given her an easy way out and said "It's ok, we will settle for this. Don't worry about it." She responded by offering to bring out some French toast anyway, which was kind, but flat out telling your customers that they're wrong is maybe not the best way to go about this to have a healthy, trusting relationship. My husband even confirmed that I had ordered what I said I ordered afterward. Maybe some staff training regarding approaching situations like this would be appreciated, such as having wait staff confirm orders once the entire table has started their orders prior to transferring orders to the kitchen would help eliminate this issue. Please know that we did return the next day because the food was great and they got our order correct the next morning. Yay!

Unfortunately, as someone who has eaten burgers all over the world the Trucker Burger was disappointing on many levels. The bun was good, but the burger patties themselves were far too plump, lacked bounce, had no caramelization in the edges and were not juicy on the inside. It tasted like a burger you'd find at your neighbor's backyard BBQ with a general lack of flavor and course texture like the lean to fat ratio was off and the burger was cooked on too low a temperature. The staff was very friendly and the food came out quickly. Unfortunately, the burger was a let down and extremely overpriced. You're better off going to a fast casual spot like Freddy's where you can get a great smash burger for much less.

As a first generation Cuban-American born and raised in Miami and married to a Cuban man, I am happy to report that Cuban Diner is the real deal. This is authentic Cuban food that is as good as the Cuban food easily found all over Miami. We started with croquetas and mariquitas. I ordered the bistec empanizado, hubby ordered the vaca frita, my son ordered the ropa vieja, my MIL orders the palomilla, and my FIL ordered a papa rellena and tamal along with a natural guava juice. We all shared bites of our plates with each other and everyone agreed that everything was absolutely delicious. My favorite was the vaca frita, so I stole a good bit from hubby and I also loved my FIL's guava juice. Service was good, but we got there shortly after opening so we had the place to ourselves. We noticed as it got busier, service definitely slowed considerably, but there was only one server for the whole place and one more handling to go orders. The one server did a fantastic job despite being the only one for multiple tables, but I did notice one couple left in frustration when they were not attended in a timely manner. I loved that they offer a total of 3 sides with the entrees, so you don't have to compromise on sides. I really enjoyed our meal and will be back to try more things on their menu soon. I definitely recommend Cuban Diner, but urge you to pack your patience if you go when there is a crowd. The good news is that the food will be well worth the wait!
