My pecan waffle was delicious. The server had me try grits also, after telling her I never had it before and it was so delicious. She even told me the different ways people have it. The atmosphere of Waffle House at this location was definitely a family type of vibe. They knew their customers and the customers knew them aaww warm and nice. I enjoyed my visit and the food isnt overpriced. The staffs blew me away with their Welcome and Kindness. Thanks for a great visit.

Stopped in on way outa Orange Beach heading back to LA...This WH is right by I-10 exit one would take to go to Orange Beach & Perdido Key... Decided to feed myself, the kids and the niece so I could straight motor on home without a need for a stop.... Walked in grabbed a spot for 4 and ordered up....Food was quality as I've come to expect no matter what southern state I'm in, service was quick and with a smile and as always the price was more than reasonable...1st WH experience in Alabama and it stacks up with all the WH's I've had the pleasure of eating at in LA...

We didn't make a good choice this morning 1st clue a empty parking lot at a Waffle House ouch! We took the wrong exit off I-10 and paid for it we kept it simple to take advantage of the 15 meals for $5 each couldn't find a combination that made that math work anyway the coffee was great but to our surprise it is actually possible to cook eggs into a sawdust type material, the key is to saturate the eggs with salt then dump them on a super heated grill for 15-20 minutes this allows the cook to get in a few quick smokes and to top it off the dry dehydration process used on the sausage paddies exceeded my expectations it allowed me to drink 20 ounces of hot coffee in record time without choking, next time I will just grab some java and have a smoke with the staff I am hoping it was just a bad bad Monday for the Motley Crew :(

Upon arriving we noticed the big parking lot, good location, and when we walked in we were greeted immediately. Inside was nicely decorated, dimly lit, and clean. We promptly got sat on a Sunday afternoon, and quickly got served water, got our drink orders, and food orders put in. The brunch menu is from 12-3, with mimosas and bloody Maria's. The bloody was really nice - could tell it had tequila! Old fashion was nice not overly Smokey. Onto the food, the tamales were some of the best I've had. They were HUGE. They came with birria, great consume, flavorful poblano rice, delicious poblano and corn cream (something of that nature) was so creamy and was GREAT. I couldn't believe how hot and fresh everything was. It was some of the best Mexican I've had. My husband enjoyed his chicken as well - it was tender and juicy, good char on the pineapple too. The portions were huge and we didn't eat it all. Good thing we didn't, the chef gave us complimentary dessert (ice cream because we're gluten free)! It was our first time and we'd love to go back. Everything looked and sounded great. Good margarita options, the flight was ordered by the table next to us! The overall cost for us two, although not the worst, but definitely not a cheap brunch was $110 with tip. Hot sauce was $2.50 on the side. A nice treat with friendly staff and good food, but not if you're looking to save some money.

The ambiance absolutely lived up to the hype. It's beautiful, upscale, and has a very romantic atmosphere that makes it feel special from the moment you walk in. We ordered the Maui tacos and the carnitas tacos. Both were delicious, generously portioned, and filling enough that I ended up bringing one taco home. The food was fresh and flavorful, although my taste buds lean more toward the bold Sonoran-style flavors I grew up enjoying. The salsa was sweeter than I expected, and the chips were made from tostada shells rather than traditional tortilla chips, which felt a little unusual and wasn't my favorite. At around $22 per taco plate, it felt a bit pricey for an early afternoon meal, but the portions were generous and we certainly didn't leave hungry. The highlight of the evening was the birthday surprise. Our waitress coordinated a birthday ice cream dessert complete with a sparkler and singing. She completely caught my husband off guard and helped make his birthday celebration extra memorable. For the atmosphere and special experience alone, Tulum is worth a visit.
