Shoutout to Ms Elisabeth and crew. Waffle House has always been consistent no matter where you go in the country. Nostalgic times for me and my family. My parents, in-laws, kids, and friends all know what to expect when we go to eat at this chain. We even went there for breakfast during our honeymoon, because everything was closed on the beach during off season. And we were not disappointed! The staff here were friendly, personable, and efficient. We got our favorites and enjoyed every bite. Crunchy waffles, perfect over easy eggs, soft biscuits, and creamy white gravy!

Our server was lovely, and very helpful with our table's gluten and dairy free needs. And I have to shout out manager James who made sure all his guests were happy, and made the time to chat with us and make recommendations on a gorgeous driving route and some 'must dos' while the Brits are in town. This remains a must visit breakfast spot.

And for the price, I wanted a little more than "well, I ate." We ordered the Cinnamon Roll French Toast and Seasonal Breakfast Bowl, and neither gave me a reason to want to order them again. Service -- 3/5 Stars The service was fine. Our server was nice, but I do wish he would've checked on our table more often. Our Colombian coffees arrived cold and honestly weren't good at all. It took quite a while before we were able to catch our server and let him know so we could order something different. There wasn't anything particularly wrong with his attitude; the service just didn't feel very engaged or attentive. It felt more like we were an afterthought than a table actively being taken care of. Ambiance -- 1/5 Stars It's Another Broken Egg Cafe, so I wasn't exactly expecting some elaborate, curated vibe. It's a chain, and that's perfectly fine. What I wasn't expecting was the smell when we walked in. It smelled unpleasant enough that my first instinct was genuinely to turn around and leave. We stayed, but between that and the otherwise standard chain-restaurant atmosphere, there wasn't much about the ambiance I enjoyed. Overall -- 2/5 Stars Overall...yeah, I don't think we'd return. Cold coffee, lackluster food, and service that felt like an afterthought made the entire experience pretty underwhelming. Nothing was so outrageously terrible that I have a dramatic story to tell. It was almost worse than that--it was just incredibly forgettable. For nearly $50 for breakfast for two, I need a little more than "it was food." What We Ordered: Cinnamon Roll French Toast -- $18.18 Seasonal Breakfast Bowl -- $16.49 Side of Salsa -- $0.99 2 Colombian Coffees -- $7.98 Total: $46.91

My son and I were headed out to another spot nearby, and when we got there, it was closed, so Julie's was very close by . And I can tell you we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch there. Service was great, parking was easy, and the food was more fabulous than I expected. I mean, it was really really good.. The ambience is certainly in the deli space, and from the outside it doesn't look like much, but inside doesn't look like much either. But the food sets it apart. OK, I've talked about food, so I'm sure you wanna hear about it (if you're still reading): Tzatziki sauce - homemade made really well done. Fries - extra crispy with a hint of salt, and I'm not a big fry person, but I love these. Potato salad - delightful side, can't go wrong. Gyro Wrap - marinated lamb, so tender you can cut it with a fork, wrapped in a pita. Gyro Platter - the same as the sandwich, but with pita chips and may be a little more lamb. I really couldn't believe how tender the lamb was, and how well it was spiced. I think my son and I were both shocked at how good the food was. Now, don't go expecting some eyebrow food, this is a deli. There's burgers, they're sandwiches, but I would stick to the Middle Eastern food that they serve because I think they really do it well. . This is a little far for us to drive for lunch, but I can guarantee you we will be back at this spot .

Food came out pretty quick. Decent omelet but toast and sausage were cold. Not offered a refill on…read morecoffee but the whole place is being run by a one man show.

Her strong attention to detail and her ability to make the customer feel they are the most important one that she has of the day is beyond reproach. I listened to her with a table behind us and she treated them with the same high level of customer center care that she gave to us. Her actions demonstrate her commitment to working with people and making a difference and today she did. The eggs were cooked. Perfect today the pancakes, however, a little more overdone than I would prefer, but they cannot always be done perfectly every time. Overall, this was a great visit and this location is far better than the one on University Boulevard. Among the store, layout,, customer service, and kitchen's ability to follow directions, this is truly the best scrambler's location! Thank you again to Nicole for making us feel. We were the most important table of the day. Management should be very proud of having such a dedicated professional.

I don't like eggs so that eliminates half the menu at breakfast places so I usually have pancakes or waffles. I had the blueberry pancakes and they were as good as I've had anywhere in a long time. They're huge and take up the entire plate and they don't skimp on the blueberries either. I was hungry and still not quite able to finish them all....but if you do their pancakes are automatically all you can eat so you can order more for no extra charge. The bacon is also a must try, it's four large strips of perfectly cooked bacon, not too crisp and not too soggy and they're lean cuts so not too fatty. Gotta have coffee of course and the coffee is solid as well, with quick refills. They also have cocktails etc. but I stuck with coffee this trip. Service is very fast and friendly here, they weren't too busy on a weekday but I can see where they'd get packed on a weekend. You won't regret checking this place out for breakfast if you're in the area.

We'd been there more than a few times back when it was Jax Craft Beer but this was our first time since they changed to The Cavern. The first thing we noticed was the huge, cool bar that's been added. We started with the House Made Pretzel. The pretzel itself was great and the beer cheese with it was excellent! I ordered the Basan with a few minor modifications. I asked for it without pickles or hot mustard. Everything else worked together really well on a good ground chicken patty.. The candied jalapeños added an especially unique touch. My wife ordered the Brick Burger which is super unique (menu pics in the comments). Like me, she liked how everything worked together. She said she might ask for no mashed potatoes next time though. They weren't bad, she just thought the burger would be just as good without it. We had the pleasure of meeting some of our group members while we were there, which was awesome. We also got to meet the owner, Aaron as well. He's a super nice guy who seems to really care about what they're doing at The Cavern. One final note: they were doing something while we were there that seemed really cool. On Saturdays, they do a beer sharing event. In short, people can buy an extra beer from the cooler that gets shared with everyone in the place by way of small sample size glasses. That's a super cool idea I've never seen anywhere else and it makes for a really cool community vibe. This was our first time at The Cavern Pub but it won't be our last. The bar was pretty full when we arrived, so we took a seat on the couch for a second, before we decided to start browsing the beers in the frig and on the wall! Such an interesting place. I chose a beer to take home. Tyler the bartender introduced himself to me and we chatted a bit, and he took my order. Such a nice guy! The 1st time I ordered a Quad and the Gringo nachos. The bar was full, and people were shooting pool and playing darts. Tyler was the bartender again, and he remembered me. Then also the owner's son introduced himself to us. Such a good vibe here! I order a Quad, and it was on special for $4.99 a pint! Scored on that one! Also ordered the grilled cheese and sweet potato fries (I met to order the zucchini sticks) Next time! The Quad was great! I don't know why that grilled cheese was so freaking good! (it's just grilled cheese, right?) lol the sweet potato fries were also good but let me tell you about that made from scratch ranch dressing! Hidden valley ain't got nothing on this Ranch Dressing! It took those sweet potatoes fries to the next level They do run out of items, so make sure you have a 2nd option in mind! They also make from scratch, pretzels and perogies. If your Vegetarian they have: The grilled cheese, Gringo Nachos and Potato Perogies Tyler also said you can bring in food from other establishments.
