I work in this area so I stopped in to get breakfast to go before heading to my shift. They took my order promptly and got it to me in about 15 minutes. They were nice and friendly and multiple servers checked in with me to make sure my order had been taken since I was just sitting at the counter. Granted it's a Waffle House so the service/attitudes are kinda you get what you get but I've never had an issue with any of the servers or cooks. They usually do have convo among themselves and that can get a Lil rowdy at times.

Here's a little about me: about 8 years ago whenever some friends and I would hit the town we would always end the night at Waffle House. It was never good, I always regretted it and I have secretly judged Waffle House lovers ever since. Fast forward to present day. David and I were hungry after I night out and, for some reason, I suggested Waffle House. I hadn't been in years, I wanted breakfast food and I figured anything was better than IHOP. We wandered into Waffle House and sat in a booth. We both decided on the "All Star" breakfast that I got with two eggs over easy, toast, grits, bacon and a waffle. Go big or go home, right? First of all, I was immediately impressed at how fast the food came out- we're talking less than 10 minutes for the both of us to be served. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the grits were great and the bacon was crispy. I had never actually had a Waffle House waffle before and it was perfect- nice and fluffy, the way a waffle should be. Could it be that I actually enjoyed something I got at Waffle House? I'm not sure if it's because our experience at Huddle House was bad, but David and I were both impressed by the service and food here. Maybe you have to go to Huddle House first to really experience the professionalism at Waffle House. Who knows? All I know is that our check was $20 and our food was delicious and we'll definitely be back.

Awesome food and staff. My boyfriend and I felt very welcomed and we were in and out in under 30 minutes. All of our food was fresh and looked exactly like the photos on the menu. When we walked on the staff members even held the door for us to come in.

Happened on this place on a Sunday while visiting another tenant in the stripmall. Was their first…read moreSunday to be open and we were happy they were. Plenty of seating, lots of lighting. Comfortable but classy atmosphere, with football on the TV in the dining room. (Welcome to Louisiana!) Owner took our drink and food orders (we were ready! - we had already previewed the menu on Yelp) and everything was delivered quickly. Husband had the Smokey Mountain Burger ($16), medium, with fries. The fries were crispy and the burger was so good! I'm not a big burger fan, but it was cooked just right and had plenty of flavor. I opted for the Thai riblets app ($14) which was served with a small side of their slaw and the "fried" Brussel sprouts app ($10). O...M...G! The sprouts came with a side dressing of mayo/lemon/garlic (?), of which I was not a fan; eat them plain - you'll be glad you did. Slaw was great - not too much mayonnaise - but I scraped off the seasoning topping because it was too salty for me. Thai riblets were fall-off-the-bone good without being over seasoned/sauced. We finished my husband's burger then took my leftovers home. They reheated very well. It's not the cheapest place, but we felt like we got our money's worth from our meal and would totally return. There's some other things on that menu calling our names. :)

But perhaps the…read moreplace was completely empty at noon on a Saturday because the food is high for what you get. $11 for two, small, greasy yet also burned goat cheese fritters. And I'm ashamed to admit how much the salad that was almost all spinach leaves with exactly 5 shrimp (added on for $10, my bad for not asking how many were included but come on) cost me in total. So. I'm sure other people dig this place, they've been around a long time, but nah.
