Val G.

Is there ever a bad experience at a Waffle House. Well I have heard some stories but our experience tends to be great. Our server was super polite and friendly, served us quickly but never pushy to get us out, even though the place was packed on this Sunday. Can't describe the place any other way than "it looks like every other Waffle House we've been to. But we love it and that's half the charm. Still ordering the same thing: All American with sausage patties, grits and a pecan waffle. Why get anything else?

I popped in This waffle House again last weekend, and it was great bite again. I've always liked a waffle House stop in, and this one is one of the best I've grabbed lunch at. We really usually get breakfast. I realized a couple years ago that their website had a pretty quick way to order food togo so I put in an order the other morning. I stopped in a few minutes later to a busy place. There was a line of people waiting to get a spot, although there were spots open at the counter. The gal at the front had my order right after I said my name. She noted a couple things missing from the bag, added them, then got it right to me. I got my hasbrowns smothered, covered, diced and topped. For those that don't know the wafflehouse hashbrown lingo, that's with onions with tomatoes, cheese and chili. Yeah its crazy, but it taste good. I had a breakfast sandwich too that was great. And I'll be back again real soon.

I picked ordered the food online and it was so easy to do so. I ordered the Allstar that includes a waffle, eggs, hash browns or grits, bacon or sausage and toast for $13.50. I added scrambled with cheese which is an up charge. I loved this meal and it is worth it for the amount of food that you get. The parking is limited but it is free. I got there around 11am and it was busy but as soon as I walked the associate helped me. The prices are very good and reasonable here. The only thing I don't like is the coffee. There is no option for iced or flavor coffee. The place is usually loud and busy but I really like that you get to see the chef make your food. I recommend this place for a good breakfast and they usually are open 24 hours but this I think closes at 9pm.

Yummy!! And even a little left for the pup!!

This is the best Waffle House we have been to in regard to speed, efficiency, and quality. Just outstanding. Service was spot on and it was not overly loud, I know shocking!! Maybe a fluke! We loved it and will be back.

Egg shells in my eggs

I ordered 3 meals and I had bread missing from one of them. And as I was eating I found egg shells in my eggs this is unprofessional. When I entered the restaurant the lady at the register had her phone up to her ear. Honestly i will never return. Don't recommend.

Can't go wrong with Waffle House. The staff was nice and the food came out quick. Nice experience. Not many vegan options but you can take the hash and add veggies and with salt and pepper, it gets the job done.

Come on. Does it get any better?! This place is an American Staple! I wanted to go savory for lunch, so strayed a bit from the All Star Special. But the smothered grits were stellar! Ronnie took great care of our group and was so sweet to us!

Greeted with a lively energy. The staff is very friendly and welcoming and definitely keeps it fun and light-hearted. We were seated quickly and were able to order within moments, even on a busy Sunday morning. Had the All-star special with grits, over-easy eggs, a biscuit, sausage, and a waffle. My bf had the bacon egg and cheese sandwich with a side of hash browns. After having their waffles for the first time, I now understand why everyone loves the waffles. It was one of the sweetest waffles I've had but without it feeling sickening. Still perfectly fluffy too. I enjoyed the rest of my meal as well, but nothing beat the waffle. Even my bf ate half the waffle over his meal which he also enjoyed. Definitely will be going back for some waffles.

Waffle House for the win during Covid-19. Now, let me say that I'm not a frequent visitor of Waffle House in general. I've never even been to this location prior to this visit, but I do love breakfast foods. I love diners and in general of the W. Houses I've been to before, I've always enjoyed what I've gotten. One day recently I woke up really craving breakfast food so I decided to drive over and pick up something. There were a few people in front of me. Because of COVID-19, the doors weren't not open to public, you could order outside or pre-order online or via phone. So I walked up to the makeshift counter and placed my order which was a breakfast sandwich (sausage, egg, and cheese) on white toast. I opted out of Texas toast you know to save calories and a double order of hash browns with cheese. I'd say I waited about 10 minutes for my to-go order. I don't think it would have taken that long normally but given the circumstances, I get it. Even with the short drive home, everything was hot and fresh and wrapped perfectly so nothing was out of order or messy. The sandwich was wrapped separately from the potatoes so no cross contamination. Definitely when I'm needing a quick breakfast fix I'll give them another order- or two.

This entire cafe is outdoors, so it's best to visit during weather where you can tolerate being outdoors. There is lots of shade, so the sun won't be beating on you directly, and there are fans around the tables as well. There are also those little fly fans on each table to keep flies away from your food, so it's clear that they've done their due diligence with creating a comfortable outdoor environment. This was my first time visiting, and I was pleased with everything I ordered. My fiance had been here once before on his own, and brought me along this time to experience it for myself! I ordered the iced Rosa Latte, the Breakfast Bowl, and a plan Belgian waffle. He had an iced Chai Latte, and the Pancake Sandwich. Here are our thoughts of each item: Rosa Latte: I got mine with almond milk, and it was just the right amount of sweet. The rose syrup brings a truly unique flavor that I can hardly describe myself! If you like your tea with milk and honey (or any sweetener) and you also like lattes, you'll enjoy this. Breakfast Bowl: everything was cooked perfectly. I was surprised at the heaping scoop of perfectly ripe avocado on top--I wasn't expecting so much avocado, in a good way. Most restaurants are stingy with avocado. The eggs were fluffy, the bacon was crispy, and everything tasted like an extremely well made home breakfast. The eggs were not salted, which I preferred because I was able to add the amount of salt I wanted. Pancake Sandwich: My fiance ordered this one, and he described it as the perfect blend of sweet and savory. The pancake (bread) was a normal pancake size, which made the sandwich a bit difficult to hold given that pancakes aren't very firm, so some people might find it easier to use utensils to eat this. I tasted the pink mayonnaise, and it tasted homemade! If you like deviled eggs, the pink mayonnaise tastes like fresh deviled eggs. It's lovely. Overall, this was a super pleasant experience. The server that my fiance had last time (I didn't catch his name) also remembered him and stopped by our table to say hello. The prices here are a bit higher for a breakfast cafe, but once you taste everything you'll understand why. It's clear that all the food and drinks use fresh ingredients, and the staff takes pride in it!

We were coming from Hallandale, we had an 8pm reservation got seated around 815 which wasn't too bad. We were sat in a dimmer quieter section away which I really appreciate since our 1 year old was sleeping giving us the perfect date-night setting. Unfortunately the last time we been to Shooters was Valentine's Day 2025. We weren't aware that the menu had been changed since our last time dining which was rather unfortunate since the two entrees (seared brown butter scallops & shrimp and grilled soy-ginger glazed salmon) we came for were changed on the menu. We ended up getting the soy glazed salmon and scallops & prawns which unfortunately we did not enjoy at all. Even the sides were different previously you could just get a side of Mac now you can only get a side of truffle Mac? The grilled soy ginger salmon was on a bed of veggies (bok choy, Napa cabbage, onions, peppers) the one that's currently on the menu was basically on two inedible pieces of bok choy and a bed of rice I couldn't even break and chew the bok choy. Our server Ava was very attentive and sweet even gave a beautiful little treat for a birthday dessert ( not a chocolate fan but her energy made the dessert amazing ). After we paid our check we asked Ava for a manager and did specify that it was regarding the food more and not her service. I didn't catch the name of the manager we spoke to but her response to us simply questioning the menu change was she's not the culinary director or something along those lines but she would still hear our feedback. She just had such an I don't care attitude about it in my opinion and had I not had a few drinks in my system, trying to enjoy my time out with my family and birthday I would've let her know her attitude regarding it just was unnecessary. We unfortunately agreed to find a new go-to restaurant to celebrate our special occasions since so much has changed. Thank you so much to Ava for making our visit worth it! Didn't get pictures of the salmon, scallops, drinks or oysters that we got but I did get the fish dip and the dessert. Edited to add pictures from one of our previous visits

As titanium Marriott bonvoy members, we received a breakfast voucher each morning of our stay, which is good for your choice of coffee or orange juice and an entree from a select menu (see pics). I found the select menu to have many great options. I had the "smothered burrito" which was huge and delicious and did not have any beans. The "traditional eggs Benedict" was typical and came with a large portion of their potatoes- yum. The "huevos rancheros" was great too but I wished it had those potatoes. My husband had the "applewood bacon and poached egg avocado toast" twice because it was so good. We ordered two additional eggs sunny to go with it, as that dish only had one poached egg. He also got the "two eggs your way" which comes with choice of protein, potatoes and two slices of sourdough toast w butter (no jam). He ordered bacon egg and cheese taco with that dish to maximize his protein intake. That was tasty. Everything we ate here was a good portion. I saw the regular menu. Dishes are about $16. The pancakes looked awesome- maybe we will get that next time. Pancakes would pair well with the hash- it looks like a huge dish. They have a breakfast cocktail menu. I had the bloody Maria (nothing special but it said house made bloody mix so I wanted to try it), which came with a celery stick. I think next time I'll do the coffee inspired cocktails. Those sound amazing. We ate inside because the wind was crazy like 25mph. We ate outside one day, when the wind wasn't as bad, and found that there are some pesky birds trying to steal food off of server trays. So if you don't want the birds, sit inside. The place gets busy; you can make a reservation. We never had to wait in line long or wait for a table, but I think that's because we're hotel guests. Once sat, we did wait more than 20 min to receive our food. But it's ok. The coffee is good. The restaurant turns into Lona for lunch and dinner. They give you the Lona drink menu for breakfast too if you're more in the mood for a margarita. Bar seating is first come first served. Bathrooms are inside the hotel lobby. There is no parking for the restaurant but you can valet.

My order consisted of the Machaca Skillet and a side of Papas Racheras (potatoes). The positives were, a) the portion size (massive amount of food) and b) the great flavor of the Machaca (shredded beef with onions, bell pepper & tomato. Now the negatives, a) the 3 poached eggs were all over-cooked/hard yolks, b) the side of potatoes were cold and had an unappealing texture. I'm not positive but I have a feeling they were left over from the day before because I arrived at 7am which is when this restaurant opens so if they made the potatoes fresh they couldn't have been this bad and c) after the waiter took my order and never saw him again until I was ready for the bill. He never checked in on me which is a shame because I had pierced all 3 eggs to show him the hard yolks and ate very slowly so the proof would be on the plate when he checked on me but alas, he never showed. If I lived in the area I may give them another try because of the potential with this dish.

The extras are what really set Rosie's apart. Valet parking is a huge plus, game night is a blast, and the events and programming they put together keep things fresh and exciting every time you come back. Some restaurants serve dinner…read more Others serve a feeling. And then there is Rosie's Bar & Grill -- a place that feels less like a restaurant and more like the greatest backyard party you've ever been invited to, where the music is a little louder, the laughter is a little freer, and absolutely everyone at the table belongs. On this particular Florida evening, six of us gathered under the open air of Rosie's patio -- that glorious tropical space where lush greenery climbs around the tables and big fans swirl the warm Wilton Manors breeze through the air. The night had that unmistakable South Florida density: humid, fragrant, and somehow buzzing with energy. It felt like sitting in the middle of a tropical island celebration, except the cocktails kept arriving faster. And arrive they did. The drinks flowed... and the gossip flowed even faster. But part of what makes Rosie's so special is that it never feels like you're simply another table in a busy restaurant. The place has heart, and that heart shows up the moment you walk in. Owners like John and the ever-present General Manager Mark glide through the space like hosts at their own house party. They greet you with warm smiles and perfectly timed quips -- the kind of playful comments that instantly make you feel like an old friend rather than a first-time guest. It's hospitality with personality, and it sets the tone for the entire evening. Then came the food. I ordered the Above the Sea Steak with loaded baked potato salad, and it was one of those dishes that sends a ripple across the table the moment it arrives. Perfectly cooked steak, bold flavors, and that decadent potato salad loaded with all the right indulgences. Within minutes, the table did what great tables always do: everyone else started ordering the same thing. Soon there were steaks everywhere. The lone holdout at the table ordered a beautifully composed salad that looked so vibrant and fresh it almost made the rest of us reconsider our carnivorous enthusiasm -- almost. But Rosie's isn't just about the food or the drinks. It's about the atmosphere -- that rare sense of ease that washes over a place when people feel genuinely welcomed. Rosie's doesn't preach inclusion with banners or declarations. It simply lives it. You walk in and the message is unspoken but unmistakable: For tonight, you have nothing to fear. Sit down. Relax. You belong here. In a world that can sometimes feel a little sharp around the edges, Rosie's feels like an oasis -- a joyful, tropical refuge where laughter wins, strangers become neighbors, and the only real requirement is that you enjoy yourself. Under those spinning fans and surrounded by palms, with warm Florida air wrapping around the patio like a soft blanket, it felt like the night might stretch on forever. And honestly? Places like Rosie's are exactly what the world needs right now.
