When we visit the area, we always stay close to Wolfchase Galleria, and this WH is in such a convenient location. There are a ton of new and trendy restaurants along Germantown Pkwy, and it's nice to see an updated, clean WH fit in with this area. The food is just as good as all your other favorite WH locations, and it's much less busy than all the other locations. We can show up between 8:30-9:30, and not have to wait for a table; as you know with some other more popular locations, you may have to wait 20 minutes for a table. For our long weekend here in Cordova, we visited this WH both Saturday and Sunday morning. On Saturday morning, I ordered 2 OE eggs, with a side of bacon and hashbrowns. I hadn't been to WH in about a year, and the server didn't tell me that it was close to normal menu special, so she brought my food out with toast on top. With chronic health issues, I can't eat bread, so I had to spend the first 5 minutes of the meal trying to scrape the breadcrumbs off of my food. I would've sent it back, but the service wasn't very fast and we couldn't track the server down, despite that it wasn't very busy. Aside from that, the bacon was a little too crispy and had an almost-burnt taste, and the hashbrowns weren't crispy. They were pretty good, but overall, it would have been a lot better and more efficient if the service hadn't been lacking. On Sunday morning, I ordered the same meal with sausage instead of bacon, and remembered to ask for no toast. It came out exactly how I needed it to. This time, the eggs were slightly undercooked for OE, meaning the whites weren't cooked all the way through, but the sausage was delicious and the hasbrowns were crispy on top- just the way hashbrowns should be. Despite the eggs, day 2 was so much better in both service and food quality. Both days, my husband ordered 2 OE eggs, either bacon or sausage, and hashbrowns chunked, diced, and capped. He also felt the eggs were undercooked, and had the same issue with the bacon, but the hashbrowns were just how he wanted. We also both love the coffee, so that's always a plus. Bottomline: There is a consistency issue with (otherwise a lack-of) service, and in making sure their eggs are fully cooked. We may try the other Germantown location next time, even if it is a packed house on weekends. read more

Call Linda order here at this waffle house and when I got home, I had two burnt waffles raw on outside a waffle that was so thick it was gummy. I ordered hashbrowns smothered with the onions and jalapeños. I didn't get that I didn't get the onions very disappointed won't be going back to this one. Don't recommend it either. read more

This is the worst experience I've ever had in my entire life. When I first walked through the door one of the ‍ cooks stated he was not taking any more orders and walked out the door. There was around 4 customers including myself looking at one another wondering what's going on with this employee. The cashier stated he only wanted to fix certain orders (SMH). My mother and I just left this venue because we were the first ones seated at the bar but our orders weren't taken. Three other people came to the bar after us and their orders were taken. They were even served drinks, but we were still sitting there and no one took our orders down. There was one server who stated she was going to serve us, but even she began prioritizing to-go orders over ours while another server would not even acknowledge our presence. Ironically, we were also the only African-Americans sitting at the bar. I've always been a fan of this location since I was in high school; however, the blatant disrespect was too much to bear this morning. Additionally, I'm 7.5 months pregnant and I cannot wait too long to eat between meals before I start becoming nauseated (which is why I thought Waffle House would be a great idea for breakfast since food is typically served fast with friendly service). Being from Atlanta, believe me when I say, I love waffle house. That being said, this was by far the worst waffle house I've ever been to. Waitress took an hour to bring us utensils and offer to take our order. Once our orders were finally placed, we then had to wait at least half an hour for our waffles and hash browns. I used to come to this place and it was acceptable. Coming to this place, you get what you expect. However, I was there with my wife today and it made us decide we will never come back again. I ordered a cup of orange juice and my wife wanted to have a cup of coffee, and a cup of water.
