My cousin and I stopped here for a good old, wholesome breakfast. The place was crowded when we arrived, but we lucked out on an empty table. We were greeted by a few staff members as soon as we walked in, which was cool. Our waitress brought out menus right away, and my cousin immediately knew what she wanted. I She frequents waffle house more than I do. I would usually order the big breakfast meal, but I wasn't that hungry. I ordered cheese with eggs, grits, and toast. My cousin ordered the big breakfast of eggs, bacon, grits, and a waffle. Her ass couldn't even eat half of her meal. I demolished mine, lol. We both had the sweet tea that was too sweet, and we added some water to it, and it was perfect. I loved how fast our food came, and our waitress was very attentive even while handling other orders. Jeannie & I met up with a close friend of hers and her hubby and after shooting the breeze for hours we decided it was time to eat.... at 2am. We headed out in search of a diner but found Waffle House instead and I'm so glad we did. The service was great! Our waitress was having a birthday so obviously we had to sing Happy Birthday, lol. The food came out quickly, hot, fresh and everything was deeelicious!!! My only gripe was that there was a couple of sketchy characters, one of which just kept staring at me. Sometimes you just want a wonderful pecan waffle with no pretense. Friendly staff. Great coffee and lots of it. And that it is available 24 hours. With so few places open 24 anymore, this is one of the greats left. This Waffle House is spotless. Clean in both dining room and bathroom. Great place to stop early Christmas morning for a bit of friendly calm before dealing with family, if that's what you have going on. Great anytime. My go to is the pecan waffle. Extra pecans. This Waffle house has opened in the past several months. I must say the staff is very cheery and efficient. I've enjoyed several breakfast items at this store. The one I like the best is basically a breakfast sandwich consisting of egg, cheese, and your meat of choice. It's served with hashbrown potatoes. I've also had an omelette here, which I must admit I was not too fond of. The consistency of the omelette was too light and fluffy for my taste. We decided we all wanted breakfast this morning so off to the "Awful Waffle" we went. Was plesently surprised with this location. Our server (horrible with names, sorry) was top notch, very attentive and great with the two little ones we had with us. Food was good and prepared the way we wanted and the coffee and waters were constantly being topped off. Hooked my little nephew up with a great chocolate chip waffle and some stickers. Food tasted gross, double cheeseburger was bland, Texas bacon patty melt didn't have any flavor. Charge you for takeout. Yes it's on the menu that it's 10% but no other restaurant does that. I'd rather drive the extra 2 mins to Denny's. Wafflehouse overrated and overpriced. Won't return. read more
