The sauce that the mussels were cooked in was on point- I haven't had mussels that outstanding since I was in France. We ordered a sundry of entrees amongst us and my crab cakes were very delicious. Coffee - yummy Country fried steak biscuit..... yea nope not again. It's just like it says just a huge very thin slice of commercial packaged frozen patty of country fried steak laid across an open faced biscuit. I had a side of fresh fruit. But it was mostly out of season fruit so not sweet and still underripe. Biscuit was light and fluffy but I had to order a piece of cheese and some gravy to hide the flavor of the meat and coating. Chicken and waffles - husband's favorite here but today it wasn't the same at all. Chicken was super dry inside. Waffles he described as no different than ones he makes at the hotel lobby. The staff is great, the ambiance is ok but the food makes up for it. I wanted a Philly chicken but they didn't have it but made up for it with their fish. I also had a fried bologna sandwich with fries the last time I visited. The prices are more than fair and everyone seems so cool. It's a little off of the beaten path, but that's one of the best things about it. The staff is on point. The service is quick. The drinks are great. And the food will have you coming back.
