We took the ski train up to Winter Park one day just to enjoy the town and come back the same evening. We needed something small to eat before we started drinking and stumbled on Waffle Cabin. I got a waffle covered in chocolate syrup and a side of bacon. It was exactly what I needed. Quick, delicious and decently priced. They were fast getting people in and out the door. I will remember this place when we go to Winter Park again. It was the perfect bite. read more

A small and lovely place with a simple filling plate. I had the cinnamon waffle and bacon which helped me get through the morning. A few comments for the place to reach 5 stars. Don't use microwave bacon. It's very crowded inside The area could be more friendly and clean/organized. read more

Waffle Cabin is a nice option after a day of skiing. Hell, you don't even need to ski to enjoy them. I got the chocolate waffle for my son. He loved. My wife and I got a few bites. It was very good. Nice and warm - perfect for a cold afternoon. Staff was polite and the waffle was served quickly. In addition to the location in the Village, they have a small hut in front of the Gemini ski lift, which is next to the Ski School area. Convenient for a nice snack between runs or a nice treat for the kids after their lessons. read more

You need this! I seriously can't think of a better mid day ski snack than this waffle. It hit the spot big time and we were all raving about how yummy it was! Fresh out of the waffle press and sprinkled with cinnamon. *chef's kiss* Super fast turnaround time - like 2-3 minutes, so it's not going to hold you up on the slopes or on your way home. My lanta, talk about yummy! My husband and I ordered 2 cinnamon waffles! No syrup, what I've never had no syrup on my waffles, well not needed on these ones. We ate them up in no time and it was so good. Left and came back before leaving town to grab a couple more to go! A waffle made quick and hot when you are skiing- sign me up! I love going here mid-morning or mid-afternoon to get me a carb pick-me-up without having to go all the way into the resort. They taste great and I love that you have the option to get chocolate drizzled on top. There is a little picnic bench if you want to stay a minute, but you can also keep your skis on and continue on with your day. Good price. Great idea. Tasty! read more

I 100% recommend this place. The waffles are so good. I go to this place whenever I'm at Winter Park skiing. They are really popular and they make the waffles as you order them so these to things make it take a while. If you have to be somewhere I think you should stop somewhere else to eat but if you have time the wait is worth it. It is a small shop so you might have to go outside after you get your food. They give out free water to cool down after a long day. I recommend this place because the waffles are amazing. read more

Waffle Cabin in the village is cute! Their hot chocolate is delicious and the waffles with chocolate are perfect and crispy. I couldn't ask for anything more. You can get a side of bacon with this and I highly recommend it. This is definitely one of the faster, grab and go type stops in The Village. I would recommend ordering more than one waffle as these are about the size of your hand. If you're grabbing one of these before hitting the mountain, stock up on an extra or stop at the cabin mid mountain! read more

The shop opens at 8 am but not ready to serve because they're still waiting for the dough to thaw. Seriously? You should be ready when you open the door. Wasted 20 minutes. Quality of the food is below average: - Waffle: Too sweet and burned on the bottom. - Bacon is ok - Hot Chocolate: Too sweet. You can make two cups out of one. Not coming back. My recommendation is go to the Goodys Mountain Creperie next store instead. read more

This is a weird place. First off, when we went, there was only one person working and they opened late. Also, if you're thinking of this for breakfast, I wouldn't recommend it. Their breakfast deal is just a waffle (which is small), bacon, and a "hot drink." It's expensive and there's really awesome breakfast at Goodie's or the soup place right across the way. read more

Really pricey, small portions. The sign outside says Chai but when I ordered one the guy looked at me like I was speaking another language. After the 3rd time he handed me a tea packet. Why do you say that you open at 9? every morning I stop by there on my way to the lift this week, your sign says "be back at 9:30" so I never get to try you guys. Why wouldn't you open 15 mins before the lift so people can get a waffle to go on lift? You miss so much money and don't even realize or care it seems like because I asked you this afternoon and you looked at me said "we opened at 9:15 today". The hand-held fresh made waffles here are a great snack in between ski runs. My kids love the chocolate-topped variety but the plain waffle has just enough sweetness that toppings are not needed. They'll pull it straight from the waffle-maker for you and you can grab it and hop back on the lift. The new owner, who is often found working there, is a nice friendly guy. read more

That part alone earned the review. What happened next is where it goes from bad to embarrassing. Within a day of posting that review, two of their employees, people who have never done business with my company, decided the appropriate response was to go leave fake negative reviews on my business, McAfee Electric. Not a misunderstanding. Not a coincidence. Straight retaliation. So I updated my review with screenshots showing exactly what they did and reached out to management multiple times to give them a chance to fix it. Instead of addressing it, they doubled down. I was told my review was "emotionally based" and that I should be ashamed for including screenshots that show their employees' names and the reviews they chose to post publicly. Think about that for a second. Their employees publicly post fake reviews, and somehow I am the problem for documenting it. That tells you everything you need to know about how this place operates. Bad service is one thing. Every business has an off day. But retaliating against a customer's livelihood and then trying to spin it as the customer being "emotional" is next level unprofessional. If this is how they handle criticism, imagine how they handle anything that actually matters. Plenty of places in Winter Park that know how to run a restaurant and act like professionals. This is not one of them.
