Bad attitudes, not friendly and all the Hispanic women that work there will ignore you. You will have to speak first and be persistent to even get service especially on picking up to go orders. I observe people trying to order getting ignored as well. The only employee I've experienced that's pleasant there is the Caucasian lady with red hair. This location also frequently has a strange odor there. I work a delivery service so I have to come here often. If I were a customer I'd definitely go elsewhere. Waba Grill in Menifee, CA does not honor to what they commit to. I represent a group of parents that volunteer at Paloma Valley High School's NJROTC program. We had reached to Waba Grill in Menifee, CA to see if they can help support our program with any type of donation or assistance. The school is hosting an upcoming drill meet with 16 other schools. The corporate maketing department reached out to us and offered to donate 150 of their new Waba tacos and 20% off any other item. We were very happy for this help to our local community. Last week the store manager reneged on the offer, claiming that there was "miscommunication" and are only offering 20% any item. I have the email showing what coporate had promised us. We are now less than two weeks away from our drill meet and have to scramble to find an alternative food source. Likely, all the volunteer parents are going to end up cooking for the event. I will never give one more dollar of my hard-earned money to Waba Grill. One of the many things our program teaches our cadets is integrity. Something Waba Grill in Menifee, CA does not have. This was a quick and easy trip. It wasn't too crowded and we were in and out in a jiffy. I was visiting my mother-in-law and looking for a quick bite. Ordered the salmon & veggies WaBa bowl, beef WaBa bowl, and a mini chicken bowl. I did not like the salmon it had a funny taste to it, but everything else was delicious. It was my husband and kids first time trying it. My picky 4 year old liked the chicken bowl and the sauce they put on it. The WaBa sauce is very good. I always ask for a few extra. The inside was clean and they have stickers on the ground to ensure people are 6 feet away from each other. Tables are also labeled to ensure people are sitting 6 feet away from each other. Happened 3 times now. Kept getting the wrong order. Whenever we ordered family with chicken and beef, we kept getting chicken only. Tonight, we decided to turn around and told the store employees of the mistake, but instead of reading the receipt correctly, they gave us the beef in half of a cup, after waiting for more than 30 mins and reminding them 3 times, while our food has gotten cold and other people being hungry from the wait. My mom always taught me that if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all - however something REALLY needs to be done about the rude ladies that work here. A customer should never feel inconvenienced when they walk into your business. The restaurant is clean and organized! Smells good and music on point, I mean it is a new location so the quality and aesthetics of this place have to be maintained! One thing they need to improve is their customer service. I've been here about three times now and never do I feel welcome. It's always more like they're there because they need to do the hours and receive a paycheck rather than serving others, customers. Look, I get it. It might not be the dream job, but if given the opportunity to represent a business you must present yourself well to be able to represent the business well. So, this Wednesday, a few minutes before noon, I came into the store to get two bowls; one shrimp and the other, salmon. The place was clean and pretty much empty aside from the one patron and her child sitting to the right of the entrance door. A "welcome" was shouted out from behind the counter. I came up to the register, smiled, gave my order, and paid. So far so good. I took my receipt and went to wait for my food. As I stood waiting, I decided to get some of their jalapeño and carrot mix and some extra WaBa Sauce. Unfortunately, they had zero containers for the items. So of course, I ask politely if they had any. Alondra began to look for the items checking under the counter and even asking the other two employees in the preparation area if they knew where the containers could be found. After going from place to place in search of them, she finds the plastics ziplock bags under the counter and reaches over to the empty container near the bar with the jalapeño and carrot mix, lemon slices, and chopped green onions. At the same time, I had asked if they do fundraisers. She had a puzzled and unsure look about her. She then begins to hesitatingly day, "No, I don't think so." This is one of my ultimate pet peeves when it comes to customer service. Don't ever say "No" if you're unsure. Ok, I get it. You're store is new. She then says that the person who should know will be in at noon. Luckily for me, that time was now. More people had come in and a line was beginning to form. Two people who ordered after me had already been served their order. Minutes later the "person who should know" walked in, dropped off her stuff, and checked on the food, even helping to prep some other stuff. I got my food in this time and waited to speak with the "person". With a box in hand and a bag of frozen shrimp on the box, Alondra was able to get her to come over to the counter. The same question was asked, "Do you do fundraisers?" She answers in a more confident, but still slightly hesitant, "No. No we don't." Interesting. So, I left. To the parking lot I went and waddaya know. The"person" was trying to get into her car still holding the box and frozen shrimp. "Would you like some help?" I asked. She said she had it and went in her car. Before she closes the car door, she then says, "I'll check on that fundraising." (Insert appropriate emoji here) Bottom line folks, give them more time. They still need to work on their location of supplies, customer service, an all around knowledge. Why the two stars? This was a less than average experience. Hopefully in a month or two, the owner of this particular store will address these issues and we'll see an improvement. Otherwise, you reading this will continue to add to this until it hopefully does get fixed. On to the next place! read more

Normally I like going to this place as a healthy alternative to other fast food!! And normally I have a good experience. I paid for white meat chicken but received mostly dark meat on two of my orders out of 3. I paid for a large drink and was given a medium because they were out, which is fine, but I was not offered reimbursement or another cup to supplement the difference knowing I paid for a large because it was clearly on the ticket. I was offered a bottle of soda and she took the cup back after i had already touched it. Probably my least favorite Waba location. Very under staffed and doesn't wash nor clean hands in between customers. Woman you from handles cash but doesn't clean hands or use gloves when she bags orders or gets salad bar items. They completely disregard customers in the front of the store which causes long wait times. Needs a lot of help at this location. read more
