Amazing staff!!! We had an issue with our cab driver who was unbelievably inappropriate. The entire staff from the guys upfront in valet to the kind ladies Gabriela and Bri at the front desk were absolutely amazing! They were both very kind and understanding to our issue we had and went above and beyond what they even had to do. Bri gave my daughter a chocolate bunny and then Bri and Gabriela even sent to our room a dessert and meat/cheese plate with a beautiful note. Thank you so much! You have made our day better!

One night stay for business. ~$600 for the room and conference the next day. Honestly one of the nicest rooms, best city views, astonishing service, delicious food and vibe I have had with any hotel.

Doormen here are useless. Totally inattentive and unhelpful. Ask them for assistance with baggage and all you get is a cold stare. Front desk staff are pleasant though. Rooms are spacious and somewhat clean. Maid service doesn't really make your bed. They just tidy it up. W is ok for a short business trip. But not really a luxurious stay.

How the hell does this place not have at least a 4.0? Only reason I don't give it a 5 start rating is because it's expensive AF to drink and eat here, but the bartenders Toni and Randy are cool AF. The rooms are sweet. Location is awesome. They got a DJ Thursday, Friday and Saturday. This place is the shit

The location is within walking distance of attractions within the theater district. I had a king corner suite and the room was very nice. Thankfully, it was a free stay because I would have been very dissatisfied paying $800 a night here. They charge a $35 dollar resort fee and provide you a $35 dollar credit for breakfast. But, essentially you're really paying for dinner since they charge you $35 - it's a misleading feature. The valet staff were very courteous and professional. Given how much the hotel costs with the hidden fees, I would consider another hotel closer to the downtown area.

    2 queen beds room.

The W is located right in the theatre district and 4-5 local clubs nearby. It's close to Chinatown, Boston Commons and the subway. We walked to many attractions. I requested extra towels and a high floor room and that's what we got. We were on the 15th floor but we faced Sutter St. We could hear the traffic, horn honking, emergency vehicle sirens. Good thing we brought ear plugs. The room was spacious and modern and the bathroom was large with a walk in shower. I wish they had non scented lotions and cleaners. The lotion and facial cleaners were strong and musty. The staff were very nice. We didn't try the restaurant or room service.

BEWARE THE VALET!! This hotel has valet only parking. A couple months after the fact... I just discovered the valet disabled my car's dashcam as soon as I dropped it off. I was just in an accident in May 2025. The literal last recording on my dashcam was dropping the car off to the valets a W Hotel Boston on March 20th, 2025. The cam was purposely turned off within a couple seconds of the valet driving it. It runs 24/7 and can only be manually shut off. Three months later, I was in an accident and discovered my dashcam was purposely turned off right after I dropped it off at W Hotel, Boston. Don't trust them!

Went here for a lovely holiday party hosted by the hubs' workplace at the gallery lounge right inside the main entrance. Beautiful hotel from the outside and inside - the space decorated very tastefully! Great space for tables of food placed all around - charcuterie table on one end, a carving station at another, a cute Asian station with takeout containers, and finally a made to order pasta station. And a nice bar at one end with cool art on the walls. There's also a few booths for seating while the remaining area is standing only. There's a room leading from the space which was being used for coats. Next to the fireplace they placed the dessert station with beautiful cupcakes. Restrooms are conveniently located down the hall and had a beautiful decor too. We used SpotHero for parking just down the street at the Revere hotel garage for $18 which is not too bad for this area. Overall a great experience here!

The W is a extremely nice hotel. We had a very large corner room. It is decorated with wood paneling behind the bed to create a dramatic effect. Two walls were full window that allowed for a wonderful view of the classic city of Boston. The hospitality is top-notch. From the front doors being opened for you to the cheerful greeting from the front desk The breakfast was delicious and hearty. The valet was a bit pricy .

This review is for Tablemation, one of the art pop up restaurant at the lobby in the W Boston Hotel, located in Chinatown/Theater District area. Made reservations and got seated in a private curtain room with 5 other tables with the art installation. Menu came with our name on it and our waitresses were so kind, down to earth and explained how everything worked in a 3-course set menu with crispy rice tuna to start, followed my filet mignon and braised beef pasta, then a nice fruit cream dessert, where the whole experience was just a little over 2 hours. Great experience for all ages to try at least once. Food was not too bad, but not fantastic as expected in something like this.

In this time of supply chain issues and lacking employees it is common to hear "we don't offer that service or item. Well one item that does not get impacted by these issues is good customer service. I know it's hard to believe for some businesses but customer service is free and along with actually listening to the customers. The W was great and upon checking in the staff was awesome especially Rich. He was very inviting and the best part was since I was using an offer through my credit card travel agency he told me all the perks that came with it. To me this is big when information that benefits the customer is freely given instead of some employees acting brand new like they did not know or just ready to get rid of you. The hotel has a club in it along with a lounge and is frequented by people who are celebrating various events from what I saw. If you enjoy your adult libations and don't mind dropping some cash the room comes completely stocked with various drinks (aka dranks for some). Despite this there was no loud noise or people disturbing you as you got that all important rest. Overall a very good stay and on my list of places that I will have no issue staying at on my next trip to Boston.

On the surface, this hotel presents as polished and upscale, but over time it became clear that it is a full-on Monet--looks good at a glance, but the closer you get, the more issues appear. During my stay, I was required to move rooms three times--once voluntarily after an upgrade, and twice due to serious maintenance issues, including a sprinkler-system flood. In subsequent rooms, I experienced repeated heating failures, inconsistent hot water, and even a shower head detaching during use. The heating issues were ongoing and never fully resolved. On multiple occasions, my room dropped to 66-67 degrees despite the thermostat being set to 80. Even after maintenance visits, the room never consistently warmed beyond 75 degrees. On the morning before my departure, I woke to cold air blowing again, confirming the problem persisted through the end of my stay. Management follow-through was disappointing. Promises to check back or assist were not kept, and communication was inconsistent at best. While beverage credit was offered, it did not come close to addressing the cumulative disruption, lack of rest, and stress caused by ongoing room issues over nearly seven weeks. The saving grace of this hotel was the weekday bartender, Rebecca. Monday through Friday, she greeted my colleagues and me with genuine warmth, professionalism, and grace after very long workdays. She was consistently excellent. Unfortunately, that level of service was not present on weekends, and our group ultimately chose to avoid the hotel bar until Rebecca returned. That said, I do want to acknowledge Shirley, Wendy, James, and Nate, who were consistently kind, professional, and helpful, as well as the valet staff, who were always efficient and courteous. This hotel may work for a very short stay if expectations are modest. For long-term or extended stays, however, the operational issues, lack of follow-through, and inconsistent hospitality do not align with the image or price point the property presents.

I called the hotel and left 4 messages with the accounting manager (I never received a call back) and tried for 9 days straight (to include filing multiple claims with Marriott Corporate) and they refused to refund me for the extra night and valet for the night. Their justification was that my car was parked in their garage that night (they must have a way to manipulate the valet time stamp) so they could not refund me for the night because that means we were at the hotel. The Four Seasons also does this interesting thing where they give you a liquor that fits with your tea order, to be added if you wish or drank by itself. I had a sip of mine and from someone else's, a bit strong for me but a bailey's one was alright. I'm fine with just tea myself! As for the food, this year's high tea was one of the best I've had.
