Perfect location for events. It was my Aunt's Birthday and the family decided to have a surprise Birthday Party for her. We had the event room to decorate and had a very private and intimate party of only a very few of us, her closest relatives and her 4 offsprings. It was fun to see all her grown up kids together for once in such a long time. There is free breakfast and free parking with the hotel stay. I was the only one who stayed with my cousin for 2 nights in the hotel and we had a blast !!!! She and me enjoyed the bed very much! We went to sleep about 8pm...I also took a long nap in the day time. This hotel like many others do have an excellent bed, comfy and soft. As you come off the highway of the side road, to find the entrance is right pass the Best Buy Store. Do not make a turn and end up in Best Buy and the mall area parking lot as I did. Lolol. Lost 15 mins. there. You keep driving past Best Buy, then you will see the entrance and parking lot of the hotel. Basically, the hotel is behind Best Buy. The back of the hotel has a mall/shopping area with many different stores.

This hotel is great for a stay in Boston When you walk in this hotel is warm and clean, the staff is welcoming, accommodating and helpful. Construction is going on in an area of this hotel, you might think isn't good, but I had a restful night, no noise. The room is normal size, clean with all the amenities for a wonderful stay, bed is so comfortable, linens are clean and soft, along with all the pillows. My room had a office chair and desk, small fridge, microwave, coffee maker, coffee, tea, cups, iron and iron board. Clean bathroom, nice towels, hair dryer, toiletries, good water pressure. Breakfast is complimentary but I didn't try it. Coffee and tea are available 24 hrs, so nice. Hotel is within walking distance of a shopping center and some restaurants. Shuttle to the airport is available. Free parking if you have a car. I enjoyed my stay in this hotel, everything worked well, definitely coming back next time I'm in the area.

On July 21,2020 Andrew DosSantos was murdered in Room 231. The hotel did nothing to help him, he was left to die in room 231 alone. Housekeeping found his body at check out. The family came to the hotel and asked for help, nobody was willing to help find his body. The police searched public hallways and bathroom only. The hotel has yet to acknowledge this young mans death.

Staff was helpful when asking questions or directions.... hotel was in walking distance to the train OR if you want to wait for the shuttle, you can. Its about a 10-15min walk to the train. Only saw the shuttle a few times... it was faster to just walk most times..(only rode in the shuttle once during our entire stay and we were back and forth to the train a lot) No pool in the hotel.. BUT there are beaches if you drive to the Quincy (shore drive) area or by Castle Island (which was really crowded). Room was new, and clean.... hallway carpet smelled like new car smell (wtf? Haha) flatscreen tv, fridge so new the door didnt open, microwave, ice machine by the elevators, wifi throughout the hotel (we were on 5th floor and i got perfect service no problem), vending machine downstairs in lobby.. Free breakfast til I think 11?... cereal, cinnabon (awesome), yogurt and other stuff like eggs, sausage (meh), bagels. Checkout is 12 I believe. Free parking for the duration of your stay. 15-20mins to the city via the T. Simple transportation system. Can't get lost. Would def. stay here again!

We reported the issue to the front desk, and the staff member claim it would be repaired upon our return from our outing. Unfortunately, it was not resolved. The included breakfast hosted next door was very good. In addition, the breakfast staff employees were excellent.

The property has a fun 1960s vibe, with music front and center, turntables in every room, and a big selection of albums to choose from. Once you get past the all-black hallways, the rooms themselves are a good size, very clean, with effective HVAC, relatively quiet nights, and one of the better-designed hotel bathrooms, including actual shelf space for toiletries. Staff were solid, and the included breakfast is more substantial than the typical "free breakfast" offered by many hotels. Highly recommended; we stayed in a standard room rather than one of the converted travel-trailer suites.

On the surface, this hotel presents as polished and upscale, but over time it became clear that it is a full-on Monet--looks good at a glance, but the closer you get, the more issues appear. During my stay, I was required to move rooms three times--once voluntarily after an upgrade, and twice due to serious maintenance issues, including a sprinkler-system flood. In subsequent rooms, I experienced repeated heating failures, inconsistent hot water, and even a shower head detaching during use. The heating issues were ongoing and never fully resolved. On multiple occasions, my room dropped to 66-67 degrees despite the thermostat being set to 80. Even after maintenance visits, the room never consistently warmed beyond 75 degrees. On the morning before my departure, I woke to cold air blowing again, confirming the problem persisted through the end of my stay. Management follow-through was disappointing. Promises to check back or assist were not kept, and communication was inconsistent at best. While beverage credit was offered, it did not come close to addressing the cumulative disruption, lack of rest, and stress caused by ongoing room issues over nearly seven weeks. The saving grace of this hotel was the weekday bartender, Rebecca. Monday through Friday, she greeted my colleagues and me with genuine warmth, professionalism, and grace after very long workdays. She was consistently excellent. Unfortunately, that level of service was not present on weekends, and our group ultimately chose to avoid the hotel bar until Rebecca returned. That said, I do want to acknowledge Shirley, Wendy, James, and Nate, who were consistently kind, professional, and helpful, as well as the valet staff, who were always efficient and courteous. This hotel may work for a very short stay if expectations are modest. For long-term or extended stays, however, the operational issues, lack of follow-through, and inconsistent hospitality do not align with the image or price point the property presents.

Little things like Fiji water, fresh soft towels (and a black towel for makeup), full array of toiletries, and a welcoming comfortable firm bed. Despite having alllll the things to do in Boston, I was excited to get back to that room and that bed, and I slept like a log. I like a good bed when I'm traveling and I would never stay at another place if I had the option. My favorite aspect was having a separate bedroom and living area (with pull out couch). All things comparable, I've stayed in a thousand hotels, I've traveled Boston thoroughly. This will be my go-to forever. It is close to Fenway Park and we were able to walk there and back. This would be a good location if that was your destination. Parking is $70 extra per night which I find excessive but maybe that's the going rate in Boston. We had a king room on the 7th floor. There's a kitchenette equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, cooktop and a nice area to eat. It had a sofa and a small flat screen tv that you can adjust on a mount. The layout was good for our needs. The issue was housekeeping. At first glance there were some crumbs in the kitchen and a few hairs in the tub , and dirty kitchen items. Later we discovered dirty sheets. We requested our entire bedding be changed the next morning and the rest of the room be serviced as well. We came back to the room and the bed was changed but none of the room was cleaned so we headed back down again to request cleaning. We were told it would be cleaned the next day. The staff were apologetic and we didn't have any issues with them. Breakfast is served downstairs and the gentleman was overseeing the area for cleanliness and refills. He did a great job. We booked 12 nights because his surgeon told us he could be hospitalized up to 10 days but we knew he could be discharged early. During check-in, I asked Mo if my son was discharged early if there would be any issues and he assured me that if we told them as soon as we knew that there wouldn't be any issues. I gave the manager on shift almost 2 days notice that we were going to be checking out early. The morning we checked out the front desk attendant told me we would be charged an early check-out fee because we didn't give them 24 hours notice. After I told her I spoke with the manager 2 days prior she told me she would have to "talk with the team" before doing anything and we would get our bill via email. The next morning I received our bill and they charged us for the night after we checked out. I called the hotel and left 4 messages with the accounting manager (I never received a call back) and tried for 9 days straight (to include filing multiple claims with Marriott Corporate) and they refused to refund me for the extra night and valet for the night. Their justification was that my car was parked in their garage that night (they must have a way to manipulate the valet time stamp) so they could not refund me for the night because that means we were at the hotel. I emailed both the manager and Marriott corporate my EZPass receipts (to prove we had left Boston the day we checked out) and they have yet to resolve this case. It has been well over 2 weeks and we have never received a phone call or email response from them. Save yourself a terrible customer service experience and choose another hotel! The environment was beautifully decorated for Christmas, like last year, and I had to take some pictures to have as desktop wallpaper on my computer. It tasted wonderful, like an autumnal tea, and all our teas came in beautifully decorated tea pots, apparently from Australia. The Four Seasons also does this interesting thing where they give you a liquor that fits with your tea order, to be added if you wish or drank by itself. I had a sip of mine and from someone else's, a bit strong for me but a bailey's one was alright. I'm fine with just tea myself! As for the food, this year's high tea was one of the best I've had. The menu was different from last year's, which was great too but in my opinion this seemed like an upgrade. Some of the food items included pieces of salmon in a little pastry, mini lobster roll, peking duck crepe, curried chicken croissant, a beautiful deviled egg, vanilla bean and brown butter scones, an eggnog tart, and a Santa hat shaped raspberry pastry. We even got some alternate options for a lactose sensitive person, so that's a great plus as well. The atmosphere was elegant and calming, and the service was great.
