I have been a loyal customer for 8 plus years or so but will never go back!! I feel so sorry for her poor husband. I witnessed her slap his arm as hard as she could. Very unprofessional and very rude to me. I got a regular pedicure with french tips and I think she was mad at me because she didn't want to do french tips. The board on the wall says $30 for a regular pedicure but when he was ringing me up she told him to charge me $50!!! My daughter had went down the road to get a pedicure and manicure which are beautiful for $60!!! I will be down the road from now on myself. Awful customer service, very rude as soon as we walked in, filed my nails too thin to the point of split, not even half way through the service we asked them to stop because they were not at all what we wanted at all and charged us 30 dollars to remove them. Update: They got the cat eye polishes in!!! I'm so excited!!! They're always getting new products and staying up to date on the latest trends. I recently moved from Hendersonville to Barnardsville and have been looking for a nail salon. Yelp helped steer me away from all the Weaverville salons as they had some really scary reviews. Luckily I found VyVy Nails in Mars Hill! :) I have been here for four or five visits now and for a variety of services. I have enjoyed a dip polish manicure, a full service pedicure, and an acrylic manicure with dip polish. All of the staff members have provided me with services and they are all very talented! The salon is clean and easy to find plus the products they offer smell delicious. One of the gentleman giving me my pedicure told me that they attend education courses on the products periodically. They also have a large variety of color options for both dip and gel colors. Nina does GREAT acrylics, but again, everyone is very talented. I can't wait to go read more

Ten does a great job but his mother in law and father in law are fantastic as well. I've had some pretty terrible experiences in Weaverville so I was very pleased to find somewhere nearby that exceeded my expectations. They have excellent color selections for the dip nails. This place is a gem! I've searched for a nail salon since moving here one year ago. I was definitely pampered and spoiled by my previous nail salon in PA. I've had a pedicure and a full set (dipping powder) done and was very pleased with both. They make you feel as if you are their only customer. I never in my life have had an experience like I did today. I left the salon after a fill-in. I did not even let the woman finish because it was so bad I got to my car and was trying to salvage my nails and two broke off. I do not usually go here. I needed them done quickly because I was going out of town and now I'm going to have to soak off a set that should've just been a fill in. I only paid for the fill but now that money is wasted as I have no time to go somewhere else and have the two that broke off fixed. I can't even begin to explain how horrible the nails and service are. The woman tried saying I did not tell her what shape I wanted. I would assume that when you get just a fill in.... that the shape of the nail would stay the same. I know this for a fact because I've gotten my nails done for over 20 years. oh and she spilled an entire container of acetone on me as well. I would not recommend this place ever. read more

myself and 2 others arrived after we called for pedicure appts, was told come now, come now. It's a 30 minute drive, which she was aware of. On our arrival we were treated very very rude and disrespectful. i can say I've never been treated so rude and yelled at, called a " liar". She keep saying rude remarks while my elderly mother and myself received a cut and color. My Aunt refused any services and sat in the car until we were done. I have been here twice. First time was nice, just a tad bit disappointed. I had been with a nail tech husband and wife team for over two years and they moved. I have been looking for a new place. (I was spoiled for sure). The shape of one nail was not squared to my satisfaction, and usually a tech will fix it with acrylic, reshaping it. But when I pointed it out, she just kept telling me to wait, "not done." She never fixed it. It wasn't a "great big deal" so I let it go. Some of the gel polish was not all the way to the sides (or on the edges as well) and some nails were not completely covered with the top coat. Getting ready to travel for a wedding, I thought I would give them another try. I wanted waxing (upper lip), mani and pedi. That's all. Pedi was good, (small slice with the callous scraper, bled - ouch).. waxing upper lip, I let her talk me into eyebrows (OK), and she insisted on doing my chin hairs. Previous experience elsewhere: chin hairs are too thick/stubborn for waxing. No different this time, and I had to pluck them ALL myself when I got home, she didn't even try (I was charged for that). Mani "OK," nails were shaped nicely for the most part, but there are places on the edges of the nail that were not coated with gel polish. Again I was very spoiled with my previous nail team, they were amazing! I don't know that I will return here or not. Not terribly priced, quite comparable. And I KNOW I am VERY PICKY. So my best advice, try them out, see if you are pleased. Go back if you are. They are VERY FRIENDLY people/family. read more

My friend and I were looking for a nail place because we are new to the area for college and this nail salon had the best reviews, so we decided to go here. When getting there, the look of the salon is very nice, but it is deceiving. I got a full set and my friend just got a pedicure. While getting my full set the nail lady did not listen to me about the shape I wanted the nails and almost argued with me about it when I tried to tell her the shape was not what I wanted. While filing my nails she ended up cutting multiple of my fingers on the side and still continued to get upset when I told her the shape was not what I originally told her. Also, while she was doing them she was almost aggressive in her commentary and with the way she was working with my hands. My friend only got a pedicure and the worker who did her nails, worked on her foot in the same aggressive way and ended up cutting a chunk out of her toe nail that started bleeding. Then, when the nail polish was done it was almost in a hurry type manner and looked sloppy. WILL NOT BE GOING BACK! I have been to this salon before,although it had been about 2 years or so. I scheduled an double appointment for myself & a family member 2 weeks in advance for a Saturday @ 9:30am, which is the first appointment/when they open (the appointment was scheduled the day before leaving to go on my honeymoon). I arrived a few minutes before my 9:30 and the doors were locked/lights off. I waited impatiently and almost left, finally around 9:50 they arrived - 20 minutes late! I wasn't thrilled, as I had a lot to do in preparation for my honeymoon, but could have got over that. Once inside, they told me to sit in one of the manicure seats and had my family member at one of the pedicure stations. (Note: the appointment was for both a mani/pedi for both of us). After sitting in the manicure seat for about 15 more minutes with nothing being done, they finally told me to move to the pedicure station next to my family member. The water in the pedicure station was soo hot I had to ask them to adjust it 2 different times. I also sat at the pedicure station with my feet in the water and nothing more being done for another 15 or so minutes. They had long started on my family members pedicure. FINALLY, around 10:45 - almost an hour after my appointment, they finally started my pedicure. The pedicure was fine and I was happy with it. They then moved me back to the nail station. (Note: by the time my pedicure was done, my family member had finished both nails and toes and they had also taken/completed 2 other walk ins). Once the manicure started, I was chatting with my family member while the lady worked on my nails. (Note: I had scheduled for and readvised/picked polish specifically for gel polish). When I was not paying attention, the lady literally chopped and ground all my nails down to basically nothing. The reason I caught it was she pulled out the box of the fake nails to start gluing on and I stopped her and told her "Nooo, I had asked for gel polish," and then I saw what she did to my nails. Nails I had worked really hard to grow out and take care of for this specific manicure/honeymoon trip. My nails were now so short and jagged/uneven she couldn't even fix them/even them up cause there was not enough nail left. What's worse, she didn't even once apologize and then )I don't know if this was an attempt to distract me from her major screw up), but continued to basically insult me and say my nails were stained from "cheap drug store nail polish." At this point I'm beyond upset, but what choice do I have but to let her paint the gel polish on? So I let her continue, but now watch her like a hawk. Finally, toward the end of the manicure, she just gets up and started doing other things for like 10 or so minutes. Finally I had to get up and ask her "Am I done??" She proceeds to tell me no, then comes back and finishes my manicure, finally. This was literally the worst, most unprofessional, longest, and overall infuriating nail appointment I've ever experienced. I will never go back. In the end, no discount was offered for the butcher job that was done to my nails and I didn't even get a simple apology. read more
