I am a long time customer of JT Nails in Weaverville, NC. I stopped there on Friday Aug 30 around 1:30PM. They greeted me and asked me what I wanted and told me The next available time was 2:45PM. There was 1 person working with a customer, 1 employee at the back of the store and 1 sitting outside. No one was waiting. Why did I need an appointment? You advertise appointments not necessary so I feel you could have handled me a lot better. Seems you have some kind of attitude problem in there. You were very disrespectful to a long time customer. I think you have lost me for good. read more

Well I went a couple weeks ago for a dip and I loved my dip nails. then I went back for a full set and they turned out pretty bad. Some were longer then others, sideways crooked definitely not going back I literally had to go home and shape them to my liking myself. read more

This is my second time to this salon. The first time was nothing spectacular and I decided to try it again today. Today was a manicure w/a French twist and a regular pedicure. I went in with a picture and asked if they could copy the picture which was a dark polish and gold "French". The first male (I observed him working on customers) told me it would not look exactly because it appeared the picture used air brush. I said as long as it wasn't jagged and horribly ugly it would be "ok." (I am new in town and have had this done before, just not here.) A different person did my mani-/pedicure. I showed the picture to the new tech and he acknowledged the picture. Pedicure was ok--nothing above and beyond, but did take almost an entire hour (an hour for nothing spectacular and no actual foot massage). When it came to the manicure, I again showed the picture and all of a sudden there was an issue....the kind where now they couldn't do it. The tech went to who I am guessing was the manager and the "manager" came over and repeated the air brush comment and I again said as long as it wasn't horrible. He continued to push back and I said had they said "no" from the get go, I would have picked a different color for both pedicure and manicure. Since I had a Christmas party tonight, I went ahead with the plain color. During the manicure and clipping around the cuticle, the tech stabbed and pulled the skin on my thumb and it began to bleed. The tech put antiseptic on the "cut" and it continued to bleed even through the maintenance on the other nail. When he came back to the bleeding thumb, he left and said something to the "manager" and his solution was to put glue (looked like the glue they use to adhere tips) on an open wound!! I said "No. Just let me pay for the pedicure and I am leaving." The man who appeared to be the manager saw I was leaving and said nothing. I will not be going back and would NEVER recommend this place. read more

I wanted to share my experience with this salon. As they are a small salon located in the shopping center off Weaver Blvd. I had never had gel done before and was just looking for polish that would stay longer, no artificial nails, just something nice and natural looking. I am picky when it comes to my nails. I went with the french manicure and the lady that did my nails did an excellent job. She free handed the white tips and. The line was flawless... straight and not sloppy. The gel stayed on close to 2 weeks. Price wasn't too expensive either. read more

I'm not exactly a hand model but that's why having great nails helps. She got the shape perfect, I like almond shape and you'd be surprised how many people get it wrong. $25 is more than I like for acrylic but if they do a good job I'm happy to pay it. I live in weaverville and have gone to JT's since it opened. They are lovely people and always do a great job. I am always pleased.

I've been working on my eyebrows for over a year. I just moved here from out of state and just thought I'd go in to the salon for a quick clean up. I explained to the lady that I just needed a clean up wax and please don't touch the shape of my brows she was very rude and did not listen to a word I said!!! She completely destroyed my eyebrows each one is a different shape and she took way too much off one and not the other. She yessed me to death when I was trying to explain what I wanted. I look ridiculous and it's going to take months to fix them. I am extremely pissed off!! read more

Do not go here if you want dip nails because they don't know what they are doing. It was torture with them trying to get my old polish off. They actually used pliers and the sharp ends of artificial nails because they don't have different rotator tips to take the old polish off. I refused to continue after the polish was finally off. Very poor job. Lady was rude. I will never go there again. read more

Really great service! They really took the time to correctly shape my nails for both my pedicure and manicure. My mom also managed to damage her nails two times while sitting in the store, and they were more than willing to fix it. read more
