I've been going to soho nails for over 4 years. And the last two experiences have completely changed my perspective of them. I had an appointment scheduled both last two times and been told to wait over 45 minutes to an hour over for my appointment. (I'm very understanding if busy, but it's been progressively worse.) The most recent visit, I've been yelled at repeatedly by one certain male nail tech in front of the entire salon! I've NEVER been so embarrassed and humiliated in my life! The usual staff is very friendly, I'm not sure if they have switched owners or what has happened. But they have lost my business for good! She rushed through the entire thing and kept telling my 6 year ild "I dont have time for you, I have wedding party coming!" When she was finished my daughter nails looked terrible, she had white polish all over her skin. When I asked her to redo them she got so angry and started yelling and called the cops. Had an acrylic nail just randomly pop off, and no they weren't grown out enough for this to happen without faulty application (I am a licensed cosmetologist of 13 years). When I went to get them fixed (trying to give another nail tech a chance) I was treated rudely by the staff. Also was told they had no neon gel colors.. then when the yellow I picked wasn't available he gave me NEON yellow- come on y'all. To top it off, he didn't thank me for my patronage.. and when I addressed the issue they brushed it off like it was no big deal. No one specific up charge for me it was because I wanted rounded nails for my friend it was because she wanted square nails for the girl next to me it was the polish she wanted... to upcharge when a customer can't do anything about it is down right sleazy and unethical. They were ipcharging for using their polish and I had brought my own because I wanted a specific brand and color... where was my discount???? The work was okay not terrible but certainly not good. My nail technician put the nail on my left ring finger on crooked I brought it up and he said he would fix it. Never fixed it and I was getting my nails done to announce my engagement so of all fingers the screwed it up! The shaping on my round tips that I was upcharged for is completely uneven some are oval some are round. I chose this place because from the exterior it appeared cleaner than the other places in town but that initial exterior glance was wrong. It looked as if they had not swept or dusted in months. Soho nails is my go-to nail salon! Lee is my girl! She does an amazing job every time. She is a perfectionist which is the most important thing to be in order to be a GOOD nail technician. I'm always satisfied with my nails when I leave and always look forward to my next visit. They play all of the popular songs and also have a TV that you can read subtitles on. The only flaw is if you schedule an appointment you're more than likely going to have to wait still for your preferred technician to become available but not near as long as you would have to wait without an appointment. They seem to always be busy! Lee also does an excellent job on waxing eyebrows. I highly recommend this nail salon! I've included pictures of nails that I've had done at this salon. They offer all kinds of different styles from cat eye to ombré. From glow in the dark to chrome! You name it and they have it! read more

Called a week prior to make an appointment for two pedis and two acrylic manis. They said no problem took my name down. Get there...we wait for almost an hour for the pedi. Fine. Pedi was the worst I've ever gotten. The gel polish was painted so uneven. I also had to come home and scrub my own feet because the guy did maybe three swipes at them, didn't even trim my toe nails like I asked. I walked out there with talons still. Didn't even hit my cuticles on them talons either. Asked for acrylic with tips....she did the dip, but played it off as if it was acrylic by painting the dip powder on as if it was acrylic....didn't find this out till I went to a diff place to do a fill in that it was actually dip polish. I wish I could show you how thick this polish was, four layers of dip y'all. By the third layer I was in to deep and it has been so long since I've gotten acrylic that i figured it was how it was suppose to be. Charged me $155($175 with tip) for a "pedi" with gel polish and "acrylic" tips. Didn't do ANY type of mani, just faked me out with dip polish and bid me a do. My cuticles were just wrecked from the drill that I had to trim them when I got home once the oil they put on them too hide the work wore off. read more

My sisters and I stopped in for a mani-pedi and were all so disappointed and completely grossed out. The facility was dirty and the majority of technicians were very rude and unprofessional. There was trash everywhere (empty bottles, half empty cans, empty boxes, used face masks, used towels, used cotton swabs, etc) and a thick layer of disgusting nail dust on every surface. The gel UV light had literal crust inside that stuck to my fingers. I had to ask the tech to remove a half empty can of soda that was left by the previous customer on the nail station, and he rolled his eyes and then put it on the floor next to several other empty bottles. Maybe because the trash can was literally overflowing with garbage. There was no evidence of any sterilization process for the tools. Also, my pedicure chair massager was broken unless you jiggled the exposed wires to get it going. Not only was it gross but the technicians were rude to us. During my Manicure, the nail technician actually hurt me while he cut my cuticles and even during the massage because he didn't use enough lotion and was basically dry rubbing my arms. When I commented that he was hurting me while he buffed my nails, he apologized and then kept doing the same thing, and then said something under his breath to the nail tech next to him. One nail tech reeked of cigarette smoke and another spoke rudely and gave dirty looks to my sister while she picked out her color. Not that I'll ever step foot in this place again, but for what it's worth, the young girl who did my pedicure was delightful and attentive. This is the worst place to go for a pedicure. I made an appointment and yes I know that these establishments say you have an appointment but they lie. Anyhow, I waited about 45 minutes and all the while 3 more people walked in and they said "yes" you can get a pedicure! When the guy put water in the foot basin and I put my feet in, it was 9 minutes from that moment until he started painting them. 9 MINUTES!!!!! Horrible and the place is dirty. The good: Went in to get a pedicure and they greeted me (which was nice) and asked what I would like. I picked my color and sat down. The bad: I sat in the chair for almost to full massage cycles before someone came over to give me the pedicure. Now keep in mind (I'm assuming) the owner went by me multiple times and even sat down at one of the nail stations across from me and never came over to take care of me. There was also a gentleman that went by multiple times without coming over. Then when one of the ladies who was done never came over she just sat at a nail booth and played on her phone until at least 30 minutes went by before her appointment showed up. Then the water was cold and I told the lady who finally was helping me. She added a little warmer water but water was cold enough to give me goosebumps while there. I explained to them that I was crunched on time for the drying because I had to get my daughter from school. They said oh you can sit under the dryer but that will take 30 minutes. My friend and I had an appointment, once we got there no one spoke to use for the first 10 minutes of us being there. After someone finally checked us in, we were sat down since they were finishing up with some other people. We didn't mind to wait, we asked if we could see the nail colors while we waited and one of the women snapped back saying "can you wait". The whole time the nail techs were very rude, if I were to explain everything that happened I would be typing for hours. To top off the bad customer service our nails were not good either. My friend had gotten white dip nails, one of her nails had a big black speck on it. She asked if the nail tech could fix it by removing it or doing another coat and the tech just laughed and said she couldn't fix it, that she didn't make the powder and it's not her fault that there was a black speck in the powder. My nails came out terrible as well as shown in the pictures. I'm not sure how anyone could let their customer leave with nails this misshaped but after how rude they had been to us we didn't dare want to say anything more to them. Their website and the sign on their door both said they close at 7pm (on Saturday) So i came a little before 6:30 and the lady working rudely told me they were closed and wouldn't help me without an explanation. I am going out of town tomorrow and i am just trying to get a quick pedicure, which doesn't take much more than a half hour anyway, so if they didn't want to stay super late, they wouldn't have even had to. This nail salon has really gone downhill in the last year. At our last visit my daughter had tips already on and asked for dip powder color change. The tech painfully popped off all of her nails and did a set of acrylics then applied diffwrent colors than what she had asked for. She didn't know what to say. My dip nails were not evenly buffed and when I asked about it I was told it would be fine once the top shiny coat was on. Of course it wasn't and when I complained the nail tech told me to leave. So I decided to go to Soho because I've been there before and they did a pretty good job. I walked into the salon and they were pretty busy. I sat down and was waiting for almost and hour which is understandable because they had quite a few people. I finally went to ask someone how long the wait was going to be and he said to come sit down in the chair. I sat down and showed the man my nail design I wanted which was pretty simple I could probably have done it myself. He then says, "we don't have time to do that design" which was pretty upsetting because I waited for an hour just to be told that they don't have the time to spend on my nails. They turned out very pretty after all but throughout the experience was terrible. The man was very rude anytime I asked him to fix something and was aggressively twisting my fingers while he was working on them. If I could give 0 stars I would. I was greeted with my mom when we walked in, I also read the reviews before going in and thought maybe the customer came late or something to make them rush or have bad quality. Every thing except the color of my nails were completely wrong. It is 2 in the afternoon. I asked 2 times for acrylic over lay on my 2 big toes to stop the crack running through the middle of my right toe and the corner missing from my left toe. He said I will see what I can do. Cut off my toe nail short short and rounded it. Not the shape I wanted not the length I wanted and when asked to fix it both the man and lady argued with me. Instead of just fixing it and talking shit later about me, they said I wasn't clear of what I wanted. When someone goes into a nail salon they want a service done not half assed!!! When I asked to speak to the boss they said they didn't have a boss. When a rude manager said the boss doesn't speak to people. I paid 150 dollars for 2 pedicures mine and my moms (one being half assed from a young guy) a full set and full in. Total disappointment! Went with my daughter yesterday for manicures and pedicures plus acrylic nails! Total $165.00 not including tip! We were there less than an hour (totally rushed on pedicure) and upon close inspection...our nails are not done right. Most of mine are wider than the matching finger or too long on one hand. Acrylic under my nails were not smoothed off & the gel nail polish was also not done to the cuticle line (gap in between only on half my nails. Horrible job for the price.
