They actually have a little section for vegetarians, which isn't really common at Vietnamese restaurants. One thing that stood out, was that our server automatically knew we would be sharing our dishes and brought us extra bowls and utensils for sharing. I greatly appreciated this gesture. The food did take a bit longer than usual to come out. However, the hot and sour soup with shrimp was amazing. The soup was super concentrated and was probably the best that I have had. They were generous with the filling in the soup. Normally I get this with noodles, but it was great on it's own. The vegetarian spring rolls were nice and crispy. They were full of flavor. The servers checked on us a few times and came to make sure if we needed anything else before the

I believe the restaurant is being managed and run by the family and I think they're short in staff. But the Pho/soup was very good. The broth was very tasty and meat was tender. The broth lacked flavour, there was no basil, cilantro instead, and with no explanation for the substitute. Don't get me wrong, it was warm soup on a cooler day, but could've used more broth flavour which to me is the main part of the soup, hence all the sriracha and oil in the picture. Was slightly over priced for the size of the small bowl.

Menus and water were dropped off shortly after being seated. We ordered a number of items - spring rolls, house special beef noodle soup, pork sausage and spring roll vermicelli bowl and iced Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk. Food arrived fairly quickly. However, staff forgot about the iced coffee and had to be reminded. Spring rolls were good. It was made with the wheat wrapper when I prefer the rice wrapper. The filling was nicely seasoned. The pho broth was light with a strong star anise flavour. There was a decent amount of noodles and toppings. My vermicelli bowl was tasty with the grilled pork sausage and spring rolls. Overall, it was a satisfying meal.

There were some slices of Vietnamese ham and a side of shredded lettuce and bean sprouts served alongside the rice rolls. The meal was filling and I am glad to find a restaurant serving rice rolls in Langley. I also saw a number of Vietnamese diners here so I can tell this restaurant is good. Service was fast and efficient. This is a hole in the wall type of restaurant where the quality of the food shines, but the interior is a bit dated with menu item photos plastered on the walls. The parking lot out front is quite tiny so I imagine it gets filled up quickly. Apparently there is rear parking but I don't see it. The place is clean. Typical Vietnamese restaurant. The place was quiet when we were there and the tv was on to entertain diners. Cash or debit card only. I had the house special medium size. Only two sizes - medium or large. The bowl did look small but it had lots of ingredients so I was full. Pretty tasty. My friend was disappointed with the seafood pho. It came with crab sticks (imitation), some balls and a couple of shrimps. Another friend ordered the wonton soup and it was pork wontons. Not shrimp. So she was disappointed too. The condiments were great. Their chili made in house was good. I liked that they actually put saucers (sauce dish) there. Very rare to see that now. Service was quite non existent. I would not make my way out here for pho but if you live in the area, it is decent food. Just choose wisely.
