MOST AGGRESSIVE BOUNCERS. My friend was assaulted and shoved out of the bar because of their stupid power trip. We went to the bar and asked for a round of shots. We thought he couldn't hear us as he just blankly stared at us and after repeating ourselves 5 times, he screamed repeatedly and finally got them to us. As we were walking, a kid in the gross crowd hits the drink out of our hand and just runs. How old are you? SCAMMERS. Security at this place is extremely aggressive. There were only 15 people inside and literally took out 10 people in less than 30 min. Even customers sitting outside security took out 5 people. This place was letting people in and kicking them out for no reason. SECURITY falsely accuse customers for different things which they didn't do. Apart from that I've been in the bar for over 40 min and the bartender literally kept ignoring me(I'm in the middle with 5 other people). The bartender keeps on going to females only which was at the far end of the bar and he's just flirting with them for long period of time. I got ignored and just went outside. I observed over 20 people go in and security were taking over 10 of the customer out in less than 30 min(apart from when I first entered the location. Even going back inside they tried to make me pay again. I'm like what pay again if you guys didn't tell me when I leave I will have to pay again. I even ask the security regarding re-entering he said no problem. That was a lie. I literally tried going back in security in the front was extremely rude and disrespectful. Even the lady who I paid my ticket and the other 2 lady told the security it's fine because I'm only trying to take out my husband. The security said you have a phone call him or text him. I requested for a manager. But the security(screaming and aggressive tone) was like no I'm the boss and you're not going in either pay or you have to leave. I told him I want to speak to your manager and the security literally said you have to only worry about what's coming from my mouth. I asked again I want to talk to your manager or supervisor he refused. At that point I felt threatened and verbally assaulted from your security team. I want to get a call back from the manager regarding this incident. Too many incidents in 1 night and very unprofessional/scammers. Your security team and bartenders really need to get retrained and re-evaluated. read more

Will NEVER return. Came here for the EDM Halloween party this year and was BEYOND DISAPPOINTED! This place is easily in the top 5 WORST clubs in downtown San Diego. The djs were just gosh awful, the bartenders all would rather huddle and talk at one end of the bar then take your order and the costume contest they had was rigged and drawn out to try and get people to stay. The owner/gm is super rude. We found out they were showing ufc fight with no cover so we came by around 6pm after having dinner down the street. We were one of the first groups to arrive and nobody was there to take our orders so we grabbed a beer at the bar and then sat in one of the booths. Later we were harassed about the fact that we either needed to order food or lose our seat?! First of all did not know they had a kitchen and we had already ate so what gives? The table next to us had 3 guys having a bud light each and they did not get grief and here we are having space dust ipa and getting harassed. We wound up getting a bucket so that we would no longer be bothered. Later in the night the boss guy goes to one of the tables next to us and gives the little league baseball coaches a bottle of vodka. Not feeling the vibes at VYBZ. We grabbed two stools at the end of the bar. Adrianna was our bartender. She was pleasant and had a pretty smile. I think Adrianna needs another bartender to help her out. It was a busy Sunday. 49ers fans in the lounge upstairs, Packers fans filled the bar downstairs. Bex and I just wanted a couple of beers and a bite before the Padres game. It took at least 10 minutes to get our 1st beer. We were finally able to order food so we chose the queso fundido. We were told they were out of that. So we settled on nachos with steak. When they finally arrived with our second round, which took way too long (we easily would've killed four in the time it took to get two) the nachos were served with no salsa. We asked for some. Adrianna asked "red or green?". We said red. The salsa was never delivered. No salsa for you! Here's the kicker. When we got our bill there was a 15% gratuity added. For a party of TWO! Who does that? Even better, the bill had an additional line for "tip". The merchant copy even showed us how much to leave for what percent on the total that already included a tip! WTF?! Ok this place sucks. Paid 15 dollars for me to get in just to be accused of sneaking in illegally. They grabbed my friend and she offered them to search her bag but the security guard refused. I was literally just going to the bathroom and they refused to listen or let her prove she paid. This was absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional. This makes me feel unsafe and uncontrable. We didn't do anything wrong. I was just trying to have fun man. I paid 40 dollars for an Uber and 15 to get into a club just to have to turn around and go back home.
