On the basis of regular visits in this cinema, which is currently local to current accommodation, it can be concluded that this cinema probably has probably
"THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE" in comparison to all the cinemas in the country. Almost every members of staff severely lack common interpersonal skills, and basic courtesy of listening to a customer related issue. As well as it can also be argued that, some of the members of staff posses quite a bit of a bullying attitude towards its customers with deliberate intention of humiliation.
From a the recent experience of yesterday,20/12/2012, in order to see "The Hobbit" at the 22:50 show, whilst waiting at the queue for shopping of popcorn and drinks, a single item of the pick and mix section was picked for tasting before purchase, upon doing so a member of staff, of description ginger hair, pale skin and over six feet height, violently approached me and falsely accused of stealing three banana sweets of the pick and mix and bullied me into paying for two. He insisted that I pay for three items or otherwise I would be forcefully made to leave the premises without a refund of the tickets that I have already purchased spending nearly thirty pounds.
Upon challenging him on CCTV evidence of his accusation, he sheepishly walked back to his position,as I still paid for two pick&mix banana sweet. As a second member of staff serving us at the till was asked for a member of management to speak he refused to co-operated.
As the first person who was being a bully was approached again and was asked of his name,he refused to provide with his name, then as determination was shown of not leaving ground without seeing a member of management, the person, unwilling had to call his duty manager named "STACY", who claimed to be recognised as the only blonde woman manager working, came out with a very reluctant attitude, and used grounds of social network abuse, as an excuse to give out the bully's name. Although the whole scenario was explained, yet she refused to provide with employee numbers and any other details to help making a formal complaint. NO APOLOGY OR ANY OTHER SIGN OF SYMPATHY WAS SHOWN.
The incident ruined my mood for the entire night as before the incident I came in a with a festive spirit, to watch a film I was looking forward to,but I felt victimised and bullied, which might have triggered by minor ethnic background and my happy nature.
The sales area did not contain any banner or sign of "NO TASTING POLICY". However the person could still very easily politely point out my honest mistake and I would be happy to comply of my ignorance of their "NO TASTING POLICY".
Instead he tried bullying me into extorting money that clearly who not benefit anything but his twisted ego.
Furthermore, this is not the only time that poor level of customer service was shown in this cinema,. In several other occasions, whist going to enjoy the film the rowdiness of the members of staff was absolutely ghastly, which would normally be ignored by looking at the bigger picture.
One can not believe that at the with such high end prices,it is too much to ask to just enjoy a film at the local cinema, which is famous for its location and not being bullied or getting humiliated. read more
