Rudest staff and manager Totally unprofessional customer…read moreservice. Extremely rude staff. Unacceptable behaviour. Stevenage Cineworld. After rude staff and complain to the manager she told us at the door after the movie "feel free not to come back". Is it the right behaviour from a manager? But why I am not surprised after stinky attitude from one staff of hers.

The West India Quay Cineworld is closely situated from Westferry DLR, about a 5 minute walk. There…read moreare several buses that stop at the same DLR. Situated on the ground floor are a few self service ticket machines and a couple of human manned ticket desks. Upstairs is a bar with a small but decent selection of alcoholic beverages and soft drinks. Quite a cool place to hang out while you're waiting for your film to start, with lots of comfy seating and even a pool table. I saw my film in Screen 5 which is a huge screen with a few rows of comfy premium seats in the middle. Unfortunately the seat I was seating in was on the back row and was worn so much it felt almost like I was sitting on a wood plank. For the ladies who always get stuck waiting in the queue for one of two ladies toilets at cinemas, there are plenty of toilets and room to do makeup. The staff a very friendly and went out of their way to help me. There is also free wifi, yay! Over all a pretty good cinema, but they need to sort out there seating!

Movie theatres are little different to review. If we talk about the main purpose i.e. watching a…read moremovie, this Cineworld location performs good. Good collection of shows, decent seats, good sound system, clean environment. But when we talk about perks such as food, it receives a thumbs down. As reviewed before by other yelpers, food really doesnt look appealing. If you dont look forward for food while watching a movie, just go ahead, you wont be disappointed.

This cinema is my local, and I frequent it often. I don't love it though…read more I guess it comes down to what you expect from a cinema these days. I mean, I kind of want some place that was built in 1920s and still has popcorn stains from war-time. But it's a bit unfair of me to judge every modern cinema based on that. Take for example, the Cineworld in Ilford. Each room is clean, the screens are clear and the prints tend to be very good. It's a good, solid cinema experience.. so why should I be negative?. This particular Cineworld is probably the best cinema to go to if you're Asian or interested in Bollywood movies; as they often have more films from the East than Hollywood. In fact; the place is really buzzing when a new Bollywood film is released; they bring out the whole community!. If you're more interested in British and American films like myself; then chances are you're only really going to get to see the biggest blockbuster releases; i.e. a new Johnny Depp film or Pirates Of The Carribean 9. But I'm not complaining - it serves its purpose, and is a fine if slightly soulless place to catch a movie. Kudos to Cineworld as a company though; for their Cineworld Unlimited passes; where you pay £11-16 a month for unlimited movies. A great deal.

Great cinema in a great location…read more Positives: - I am a huge fan of customer service or customee care and this cinema always seems to never fail. The counter employees do strikw up conversations and make jokes which makes the waiting in the queue that much worth it. I'm never afraid of making a witty or funny remark as I have been accompanied with one in return which is always a nice thing - The SKYSUPERSCREEN is one of the featurea in which makes this cinema remarkable. I remember watching 'Gaurdians Of The Galaxy' on the superscreen and it was phenomenal. Always hoping my next movie is located at that screen because you have not trult experience high quality sound, crisp imagery and the full works to engulf you into the movie so much that you're just in awe. Definitely worth seeing a movie there for the screen (not forgetting Cineworlds new D-Box enhanced technology) - Legroom is on point in every screen. No need to pay VIP price like at Vue for extra legroom whereas Cineworld is notorious for providing guests with so much legroom, one can spread out and be very comfortable & I also love the priority seats instead of fighting for a seat when a new film has been released and the cinema gets busy Negatives: - Queue time for food or tickets can be atrocious at times. Booking online and bringing your own munch saves all that drama as well as ticket bootha beforw entering into the cinema, but, for whatever reason you want to purchase food or tickets from the desk then be prepared for a long wait as this cinema is regularly busy whether seeing an old or a new release. ***Lengthy but worth it queues for food with a sprinkle of generous legroom space. This truly is a cinema with high quality sound, crisp pictures with the added bonus of great customer when at the food desks truly makes my cinema experience that much better and deserves all 5 stars***
