The team was hard working, considerate, and did quality work. I got 4 bids for this job. Eitan was not the cheapest nor the most expensive but I believe his pricing was fair and competitive and in the end of good value. His contract was comprehensive and the payment schedule was keyed by major job accomplishments. Eitan took care of obtaining the building permit from the county and was present at every inspection. The team started the job by covering all exposed floors and stairs in heavy paper that provided protection during demolition and construction. Eitan was on site almost everyday and was always available via text or phone. He went with us before construction to pick out materials or recommended suppliers. Eitan picked up all material that was purchased locally so I didn't have to worry about that. Eitan was flexible in that he was always ready to make minor changes, such as location of plugs, lights, and switches. He also had modifications made to the vanity that was about 1" to long for the space. It looks custom made for the space. Extra work was involved because we had a pocket door installed to replace a swinging door but it came out nice and we now have more usable space in the room. At completion the team removed all floor covering and left the job site looking good. Eitan estimated 3 weeks for the job and that's what it took. I would recommend Build the Bay to anyone looking for a quality team and a quality job.

Working with Eitan and his team was like night and day compared to other contractors I have worked with in the past. Specifically what I appreciated is that he treated me with respect and would take the time to explain in layman's terms what was needed. (I'm not a construction pro by any means.) Eitan even shared a list of vendors that he has worked with in the past for materials and finishes, as well as a checklist to ensure I ordered all the finishing pieces in time. He would even be willing to review any products I was interested in to let me know if it was good quality. It's only normal for unexpected issues to come up during construction, and what was also great is how communicative Eitan and his team were with me. They would quickly let me know what the issue was, explain what my options were, the cost for each, and what those options would mean in the long run. Eitan always responded very promptly via email or text if I had any questions or requested any updates. Our project has been done for about a month now and I have to say that I strongly feel like Eitan and his team delivered high quality bathrooms in a timely manner. The project managers that we had worked with were Tony, Issac and Amit. The experiences that we had with the team were exceptional, Tony and his team leads were very professional, patient, attentive to details, and transparent to the cost. They were excellent in communications and never delay responding to our messages, usually within a few minutes or within hours for any questions that we ask at any time of the day. In terms of services, they are like one stop shop that includes almost everything that we need from a contractor for remodeling so it really saved a lot of our time from talking with different people for different phases of the remodel. Their team has the architect who started with the floor plan with us, with a lot of back and forth discussions and our inputs taken into considerations. After we agreed and finalized the plan, they submitted it to the city for the permit. Since the architects and the construction team are under the same leadership of NuHome, in our case, Tony, this saves a lot of later potential integration problems between the architectural plans and the executions of the construction. During the construction, there were a few times that we changed our plans, for example, changing the size of the closet and pantry, Tony and the team were accommodating it; and in the middle of the construction, we were also changing the type and the number of outlets and the spot lights, Tony and the team were also incorporated that as well. We also had changed the plan for the TV ascent wall, and the team were fully in corporation and working with for the change, which turned out to be beautiful. Another area that really pleased and benefit us was NuHome has excellent interior designer who had worked with us closely in designing the bathrooms, and helping us picking up the right materials that worked perfectly for us, this saved us so much potential headache as we pretty much knew nothing in this field. The three bathroom designs turned out beautifully and exceeded our expectations. We would definitely attribute this to the team deep dedication of putting customers' need first, in addition to the construction team's skill set. The team has made sure to take care of our need from the very beginning to the end of the project, for little things like making sure we have the new lock after the whole project is done is even within their considerations, so we are moving into our new home feeling happy, comfortable and safe. All new tile was added to a walk-in shower with a bench. I had picked out the tiles, vanity and toilet with their help. Everything was done with care to detail. Hector is a true professional. He makes sure the job site is always clean at the end of the day. Nothing was missed. Their prices seemed to be right in line with what I expected. Everything was done to code. And there were a few things that meant a big more work had to be done, but there was not an additional cost. I will hire them again if and when I have another project for them.

Some highlights I'd call out are they have great subcontractors and technicians. The tiling, paint job, electrical... everything was fantastic, and everyone was super easy to work with. We've always had communications / language barriers when working with workers in the past, so it was nice to be able to answer questions or give feedback directly onsite without having to wait for Umid to jump in. I also found Cotfort trustworthy and reasonable. For one, I decided to try an online-only tile company which led to terrible delays to the project (my fault there), and they were patient with reschedules though I know it caused them headaches. They also stepped in to make things right, without hesitation, when their countertop fabricator accidentally installed the wrong floor curb on the shower. Another sign of trustworthiness: I asked them to come back after the work was done to change out one of the accessories in the bathroom... they really had no obligation to but they did anyway. There were definitely some hiccups, like in all projects, but it helped a lot that they were responsive, flexible, and communicative. I work for a church and with churches there's bound to have repair as the norm. I was researching…read moreplaces nearby and saw this company with great reviews. Had a previous company come out for an estimate and decided to get a second opinion. The Tech that came out was Pedro. Pedro was awesome. Super easy going, friendly and most of all informative. I showed him the issues that needs attending to and from there he informed me of what needs to be done. Being new to this position, he understood and informed me step by step of the process to be repaired. I asked for a estimate since the Board has final say. The estimate came almost right after or the next morning. The person emailed, Joel was great in helping out with finding other alternatives for different types of pricing to show to the Board. After confirming with the Board for what needs to be done, I sent a confirmation email which was responded by Joel and then a phone call from Kory (spelling? or Corey?) The scheduling process was a bit of a juggling part on my end b/c of multiple things going on at the church but Kory was great in being so accommodating. Had it scheduled for later in the day so there wouldnt be any interruptions. Day of the Repairs. The awesome part was that the same Tech showed up to do the repairs. Its great b/c he already been here previously instead of a new tech and then re-showing all of items. Repair #1 - Clogged sink - Super fast repair and showed the before/after and potential work that might need future repairs. Repair #2 - Waterheater replacement - Ran into some hickups but Pedro kept me in the loop of what was going on and what had to be done. Voltage and sizing was an issue due to the location of where it was. Apparently in the past, the contractors installed the water heater and then enclosed it afterwards, which caused the access size to be smaller than the norm. He had to come back the next day to have a slimmer/smaller unit with the same voltage. It was disappointing but understandable. Next day came, texted me his ETA and went straight to work on the water heater. Showed before pictures, the process of what he did, and the overall after. It looked great and the process was smoother than expected. Payment was all done digitally and a receipt was sent in a snap. Will most definitely keep them in our book for future repairs.
