First off the gentleman that came was nice enough, but then he got really aggravated at the job and cussed the whole time. He was cutting the tiles. Aside from that he threw his cigarette butt in the street. And then chose to call and scream at me personally. I do not understand how you pay $5000 for a tile job to be done in your bathroom and I do not do the drywall behind it. I can't tell you to work. Wow, we just had another great experience with VP Italia Tile on Winchester Road in Temecula. Marshal and Peter were very professional and welcoming when we came to look at their store. When we found a tile we liked, they came out to measure right away, ordered it, and as promised, Marshal and his assistant, Shawn, installed the product on time. We are very pleased with how beautiful the living room and dining room look. This is our second time using VP Italia Tile. In 2020 Marshal replaced a large area carpet in our family room with tile that closely matched the tile in the rest of the downstairs. I stopped in here looking for some tile for my shower project. They have a great selection, which is somewhat deceptive based on the storefront size and location. They have some really nice Italian tile in the showroom, but also have plenty of less expensive options, too. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. I ended up buying the shower wall tile elsewhere, but did buy the mosaic tile for the shower here. The order process was easy and efficient and the tile arrived on schedule. I will definitely stop here again the next time I have a project that requires quality tile, stone or marble. Check this place out. read more

I already had tile in a great portion of my house and I wanted to replace the carpet with something other than that. I was considering wood but since I have 2 Golden Retrievers that wasn't practical. I posted an inquiry on my community Facebook page and received several notifications from tile contractors. VP Italia was one of them so I called and spoke with Vatina. I visited their showroom and brought a square of my existing tile to see what would look good. Vatina came out to measure and brought some additional samples. As it turned out what I had originally selected was not the final selection because when the actual lighting in my house reflected on the tile that I chose the new one was much better. I received the quote and started the process. The installers John and Sean were great and the project was completed with very little disruption to my daily routine. I am very happy with the end result because my floors look like natural wood without the headaches that come with the upkeep and the dogs can't destroy them. They blend perfectly with the existing tile and everything looks great! Great everything, you name what you want in a company and they excel at it. We were replacing two sinks in our bathroom and the tile broke. We could not find matching tile anywhere. We went to VP Italia and they gave us color options that were very close. We scheduled the job with them and it went smooth and the results were great. On February 24th, I went to the store to get tile installed in my home. Peter helped me choose a tile that I liked and collected a $75 deposit to book a "home estimate". The estimate was scheduled for March 4th (over a week later). Another person from their shop named Vatina came to my house to do the measurements. No details regarding this estimate were shared with me other than what they wanted to charge me for the job. They never disclosed exact measurements/dimensions regarding this estimate. It is hard to say if actual measurements were taken. I asked for the measurements multiple times and they never provided them. They then scheduled me to go in and sign the contract to complete the job. The contract was to be signed on March 11th between 4-5 pm. I then got a call from the store on March 11 (day of) saying that the tile I had picked out on February 24 was no longer in stock. This was a possibility that was never discussed with me. They charged me the $75 deposit after choosing the tile and didn't honor it. They then tried to sell me a more expensive tile while knowing it was well outside of my budget. On March 13th I was left with no other choice but to cancel the deal because of inconsistencies and lack of disclosures on their end. The owner Peter who I initially spoke with, yelled at me over the phone when I asked him to refund my $75 deposit and refused to do it. The original $75 deposit was only placed because the tile had been picked out on the 24th and it aligned with my budget at that time. In conclusion the process was started on February 24 and was stretched out till March 13th. They never discussed the possibility of that tile not being available. They never provided me actual measurement data from the estimate they claim to have done. Overall very shady business practice on their end. Buyers beware* I feel like I got scammed out of $75. I have since talked with a few other tile places and none of them asked me to pay $75 for a "home estimate". Extremely unsatisfied. I will never do business with nor be recommending them to anyone in the future. read more

After that, we had to repair all the damage in the bathroom/laundry room, so I decided I might as well take the opportunity to remodel the bathroom. VP Italia came highly recommended by a co-worker. Breanna listened to what our ideas were and assisted us with an enthusiasm of a person who was selecting a tile for their own home. Very professional, gave options for our budget including tile that was on sale of higher quality when they could have recommended a more pricier floor. Citibank, thank you for responding and acknowledging the ongoing issues. However the new panel did come in as we notified Peter of . It has been sitting in my kitchen area for a week. Peter told us that the crew would be out between Wednesday and Friday, which didn't happen. When we reached out, he notified us at that time that the crew was still working on another job, and basically would get out here when they finished they job. Not the best business practices. Or at least you guys need more than one crew if you don't have more than one crew . I don't know what the hell is going on but I do know this I am sick and tired of being sick and tired about this kitchen that I dropped $50,000 on and I'm not happy that's the bottom line. Also, when I text Peter today, I received a text back saying that he was out of the office and that I should contact the office. I bought flooring and also had them install (1) 12x18 room. The one thing I noticed was even though I was dealing with one associate the other kept interjecting while he was on the phone which was a little confusing. However, I went ahead with the order but as the job was getting done the initial set up issues caused a major problem. After a rate of over $600 JUST for the install I had to pay another $75 to have the seam between the new vinyl and the existing carpet put in to make it look clean and finished. We chose VP Italia Tile to replace our tile countertops with marble, and to purchase tile for the rest of the bathroom because of their selection, pricing, and exceptional customer service. Before purchasing our material we shopped around at 4 different places. I must say the showroom at VP Italia Tile is a fraction of the size of their biggest competitor (Arizona Tile), but they had 4 times the selection to choose from. They carried 5 different brands for the type of porcelain tile we wanted compared to the only 1, or 2 types their competitors carried. At one point during the purchasing phase we ran into a problem finding bullnose tile for the porcelain tile we chose for our shower walls. The staff at VP Italia Tile quickly took action to provide us with several options to choose from to correct the problem which ended up working out better for us then what was originally planned. Tucked away in the corner of this strip center is VP Italia Tile. Our daughter recommended them, and we're very glad she did! Our original order was to replace the counters and sinks in both the master bathroom and guest bathroom. That was back in November. Last week we were "repeat" customers and had our entire kitchen counters replaced. Vatina (the owner) came out and measured both the bathrooms and kitchen, a nice touch! Her crew arrived on time -- every time -- and went right to work. The plumber also arrived at the appointed time. I am a first time buyer of a home and I wanted to make it my own. I called about ten tile companies and I finally decided to go with VP Tile. Peter was fantastic. He took the time to answer all my questions and made sure that I felt good about the project. I had them put in a backsplash, baseboards and lay tile in the house. I am not disappointed! The guys who did the work were polite and always stopped what they were doing to show me what they had done for the day. I thought I was paying the measuring fee of $50 so I used my debit card in stead of my credit card, turns out she charged the full amount of the job and I hadn't even seen tile samples yet!! I asked her to refund the money and she refused!! Turns out they couldn't match the travertine that I already had on the floor (I was filling in a carpeted area) and they still refused to refund the money. I researched flooring choices for the downstairs of my house for several years. I studied different types of flooring, went to many flooring stores, investigated online, and looked at lots of model homes. I finally decided upon wood-look tile. VP Italia had a huge selection of wood-look tile in a variety of colors, shades, and sizes. I appreciated the time that both Vitina and Amy took to help me choose my tile. They allowed me to take home several samples and allowed me to take my time to decide upon my final choice. I am extremely happy with my tile choice from VP Italia. It is durable, beautiful, and easy to clean. Amy also helped me pick out a beautiful baseboard choice to go with the tile. I had originally thought of choosing something very simple and plain, but she helped me choose something a little more "architectural" and I am so happy she did, as it went perfectly with my crown molding. I decided to have VP Italia do the installation as well. They told me that John would be installing and that he was extremely meticulous to detail. I was impressed with that. I had a different foreman, however, named Hugo. At FIRST, the install did not go as well as I had hoped, as nobody explained to me how the demo/install process would progress, furniture wasn't covered, the workers weren't prompt or supervised, and they were not communicating with me about the process or cleaning up after themselves at the end of the day. I contacted both Vitina and Hugo and they were EXTREMELY gracious and helpful in fixing the problems. They contacted me immediately and promptly each day, came out to clean up and fix some of the problems, and restarted the project professionally. I was impressed with both Vitina's and Hugo's customer service, as well as the professionalism that Hugo provided when he came out to the house to see what had happened so far. They provided me with excellent service and even came back to install some baseboards and tile that had to be delayed due to a plumbing problem, in order that we might end on a very good note. They were gracious, polite, and remembered the business adage "the customer is always right". I would just recommend that anyone who chooses VP Italia for the installation ask to have the foreman come on the very first day of the job, walk the job with the actual installers AND the customer, and discuss the process of the job thoroughly before work begins, in order to eliminate confusion and miscommunication. I would most definitely recommend purchasing your tile from VP Italia and I thank Vitina and Hugo for providing excellent customer service. read more
