He was also emotionally supportive, knowing what we were going through with the loss of our dad, and giving us the confidence that they would take care of everything. On the day of the event, KC and Yuri came early and had all the equipment set up before anyone arrived. They worked hard to get the equipment placed where we wanted it, even after we had them move it, without any pushback. We were lucky enough to have KC as our DJ, because not only was he a fun and engaging host, he sang and played the guitar! The slideshow Alexandra created turned out awesome! Unfortunately, we had mixed feelings on this company based on our experience. We booked and paid for a premium DJ, but close to our wedding date they switched us to a lower-tier DJ due to our previous premium DJ quitting without adjusting the price. I reached out multiple times via email -- politely and reasonably -- asking if there could be any accommodation for the last-minute change. The owner never acknowledged any of my emails, which felt extremely unprofessional. The DJ who performed did an okay job, and this review is not about him personally. However, the service we received was not what we paid for, and the lack of communication made the situation worse. For the amount we spent, we expected transparency, responsiveness, and follow-through and we did not receive that. Mike was absolutely incredible--so kind, helpful, and an absolute pro at what he does. I'm normally a very type-A person and very on top of things, especially when it came to my wedding. Surprisingly, I only knew three songs I wanted to hear and was completely stressed that I didn't have the rest figured out. VoxDJs took great care of us from start to finish for our wedding! DJ Jarom Smith Music and dancing was a top priority for the wedding, and Jarom delivered the perfect party. We supplied a playlist of our favorites and guest requests, with Jarom mixing them together and filling in the gaps. He balanced the genres and age groups perfectly. There was never a lull on the dance floor whether it was the kids of the 90s rocking to Backstreet Boys, or oldies requests from the parent's generation, or classic wedding bangers. This was the dance party of my dreams - it's been 3 weeks and I can't shut up about it. We've received compliments for him from many of our guests too. Jarom executed our special request for our first dance to transition from Foo Fighter's Everlong acoustic to the original perfectly. Logistics also were perfect. He set up the sound for a multi-room/outdoor venue, and handled the MC duties and announcements, including the less glamorous jobs or directing tables for the dinner buffet. He also recorded the ceremony audio from his microphone for us. Photo booth tech Vicky Rosas We had the Cliq SelfE photo booth with prints and tech. The setup was handled so smoothly, I didn't even realize it was happening. When the photo booth opened, Vicky was amazing at handling the camera, adjusting the zoom and helping tell us where to stand, and giving us suggestions of fun poses. I did not anticipate how beneficial it would be to have an attendant, and highly recommend it. She was so friendly and the guests loved her. The full set of digital copies we received later are all wonderful thanks to her great eye and direction.
