This is a super delayed review (and embarrassingly, has been sitting in my drafts this whole time) but I wanted to give a shoutout to Invincible DJ's I hired Vince for a gala back in 2016. Long story short - after some rumination about lack of decor for our event, I called Vince around 12PM in desperate need of uplights for an event starting at 6PM. I went down the Yelp list of vendors to see who could accommodate on such short notice. Sure enough, 3 vendors turned me down. I called Vince who already had events lined up but said he'd help me find out if anyone was available. 12PM - Call Vince in a desperate need for uplights at an event at 6PM. He told me he could see what he could do on such short notice. 2PM - He found someone. We processed paperwork, payment, etc. within 15 minutes 4PM - Someone was at our event setting up. Jason and I got married last week at Claremont, CA. Vince was our DJ for the ceremony and reception. Vince made the planning process very easy. He provides suggested music, top songs played in weddings and tips for the program. He's also conscious of our budget, which is a huge plus for us. Most of the communication done before the wedding is virtual and he adjusts to your schedule so there was no hassle when it came to planning! He is also responsive to any emails or text messages sent. During the ceremony, he was spot on with the sound transitions and we had no issues with the mic used. We chose Dan+Shay From the Ground Up and Speechless as our processional songs. There was no awkward silence in between songs, which is so important for that very emotional moment. For the reception, he was our MC and DJ. He provides a suggested schedule for the program but listens to your preferences on what you want to add or remove from usual wedding receptions. As for the music, our guests were dancing the whole night! They all kept saying how fun it was. Since he is experienced in the wedding industry, he was able to provide feedback on details other than the services he provided. He even helped me end my prolonged and dreadful search of a videographer and recommended me to a great team. We had three meetings with Vince, an initial consultation, a walk-thru of the venue and 2-weeks before the wedding to discuss our music selection. I believe in-person meetings are essential especially with someone running the show! In all our meetings, he was very accommodating. It never felt like a business meeting, but friends hanging out talking about music and my vision of the wedding.. On the day of the wedding, Vince and his crew were great; I could not have asked for a better team. My husband and I were very concerned and clueless on picking our wedding music. We wanted to select music that my Mexican and Filipino family and his Korean family would dance to and enjoy listening to. We felt hopeless and that our wedding was going to be a complete bore. OH boy! Was I wrong! We told Vince what kind of music we liked and what we didn't like and then left our music playlist to Vince's discretion. We are extremely lucky and so happy that my sister referred Vince to be our wedding DJ/MC! We were planning a destination wedding in LA, so a lot of our conversing was done through Skype and e-mail. I am so thankful that I was able to work with Dj Vince. I had my 18th debut party last Saturday. Prior to that, we had originally hired a separate DJ and MC. Vince was not available the day of my party, however he helped me plan with templates and phone calls prior to my event. I am WAY overdue in writing this, but feel it needs to be said. Vince was the DJ for our wedding in July 2017 & was recommended by our wedding planner. He was very professional, relatable, fun, and he worked within our budget! We met via video conference call since we lived kind of far from each other, so I appreciated that option. I was slightly (aka very) picky with our music genre, but on our wedding day, he was spot on with requested songs, timing, & announcements, and to this day, we still get compliments on the music of our wedding day ;) We also had a lot planned in our itinerary during the reception, but because certain things took longer, he was able to adjust easily & smoothly and no one noticed.
