Oozlefinch cream soda
Toni A.

Overall, a really fun brewery to visit in Virginia Beach. They have a grunge ambiance. I love their creative skeleton like mascot. I personally really enjoy their drink selection. One of my favorite options is Oozlefinch, which they always have on stock. There's another green cider/beer that always taste good. Service is great. You order from the QR code, the servers are all very friendly and the bartenders are very nice. They often do different events at voodoo. At our last visit, we tried some of their food. We got the pickle pizza with added chorizo. It may sound odd, but the pickles on pizza tasted pretty good, especially with the pesto like sauce. We added chorizo, which really added flavor. Without the chorizo, I feel that the pizza may be a little bland. We also got the basic burger, which was good in flavor, just needed more sauce. Unfortunately, you do have to pay extra to have fries instead of chips. The food prices felt a little pricier than expected. Overall, get the pickle pizza, but make sure to add chorizo. And enjoy some of their fine selection of drinks. Thank you!

I had such a great time at Voodoo Brewery's music festival for autism awareness--it was an event that felt both fun and meaningful, with a real sense of community throughout. The food was a standout, not only delicious but also very reasonably priced; I tried the beer cheese mac & cheese and it was rich, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying. I also got a flight, which was a perfect way to sample a variety of their unique local beers and experience different flavors. Between the live music, great food, and a cause worth supporting, it was an all-around fantastic experience and I'll definitely be back. The Staff are attentive and super awesome.

Stopped in while visiting family in Virginia Beach. Thankfully it was not very crowded for a Friday night. First off I HATE the ordering system. Everything is mobile ordering using a QR code from your table. Even the water is self service. But the insanely good food made up for it. We tried multiple appetizers and shared among our table. All were amazing. The pretzel was baked to perfection and the beer cheese is out of this world. The nachos with the beer cheese were very good. However the fried pickles fell short and were very soggy. But overall everything was very good. Alot of menu options for the whole family.

Their food selection is pretty good! The only thing that I didn't like really is the burger. It was pretty bland and for what it's worth should've gotten fries along with it. You have to pay three extra dollars for it. However, the pickle pizza was actually pretty good! You've gotta have chorizo on it to change the texture. Otherwise it's just pretty salty because of the pickles. Then the last that was the best dish I've had there. The drinks are a lot and you can definitely figure out. What would you like there.

Super menu and selection of craft cocktails & beer. Fast service by ordering when ready with a QR code and paying your tab through the site as well. This is especially helpful with large groups - no more waiting as everyone can pay directly for their own order! Beautiful interior and clean restrooms.

A great beer selection and a decent menu. Food took a long time to come out and despite ordering food at the same time - the meals came out minutes apart. Seemed a little odd to us. We all ordered burgers. I ordered the foodoo burger. It was great!! The other burgers looked awesome as well. The atmosphere is nice. They have a large bar and plenty of space to sit. The staff was okay. We sat at the bar and they had two bartenders. One of them was extremely friendly and the other not so friendly. All in all a good place to go.

Voodoo is a great brewery with delicious food!! My husband and I love to bring family here because the staff is always friendly and the food/drinks are amazing! There's something for everyone here. There's typically an event or live music of sorts on the weekends- and tons of happy hour deals during the week! If you order food we love their pretzel, nachos & cheesesteak! There's always different beers on tap so I can't remember which I love because we've had several. Parents with kids- they have BAR height high chairs!!!! Say what?! I didn't even know these existed, but now every other place will disappoint me that doesn't. Love that you order drinks & food from your QR code- makes service fast & closing out even easier.

Pub-a-licious! Great beer, good food and great music (when they have a live band lol). They have street parking available. Patient servers, nice bartenders and overall good vibes!

I always start my brewery reviews with I am not a fan of beer so therefore not a fan of breweries. But always willing to try new places. I was here on a Wednesday night with a large party and we had several tables reserved. I will say that I will be back. Loved the vibe in there. And there are plenty of drink options for those that don't like beer such as wine and canned cocktails and mixed drinks. The food was good too. We had pretzels with a delicious cheese dip and loved the mustard. We also had hummus and veggies, crab dip and a few pizzas. Everything I tried was really good. I definitely want to go back and check out the menu a bit more. They had burgers, sandwiches, mac and cheese, salads and more. Something for everyone and we were near the kitchen and everything I saw coming out looked pretty dang good. They also have a water station in the back. And they have lots of events so check out their calendar. Wednesdays is trivia but they have live music and brunch and markets. Ally also took good care of me and was very nice. Definitely worth checking out and I will be back.

I can't say enough great things about Voodoo! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm, inviting atmosphere. The staff is knowledgeable and always happy to help or recommend something based on your taste. They have an incredible selection of craft beers: from Voodoo, as well as other local breweries. And the food? Absolutely phenomenal! A wide selection to choose from. We ordered the Pretzel which was perfectly baked and pairs amazingly with the side of beer cheese. The wings were all so flavorful, and the Tortilla Heat burger was cooked to perfection - spicy and delicious in the perfect amount. Everything pairs perfectly with their amazing brews! If you are a beer lover, looking for great food and drinks, or seeking an eventful night, this place is a must-visit! Voodoo's a great spot with a lively atmosphere and often hosting a variety of events that keep things exciting. Whether it's live music or trivia nights, there's always something happening! I highly recommend it to anyone in the area.

I think this may be my new favorite brewery in town center! I just wish they had comfy chairs. Service was great even though I hate QR codes (makes it feel like an airport and less personal) but our servers at the bar or at the tables are incredibly sweet and friendly. Food - OMG get the beer mussels, don't walk... RUN

Blackberry mojito

So I came in and there was rattlesnake in the corner. No idea why it wasn't a big deal, but seemed like the vibe. Bartender broke a nail and called me gay. This place is definitely for families and I highly recommend it. If you take anything other than the 5 stars as a legitimate review, you deserve the chair. Blackberry mojito and the spiked cider go hard.

With it being a Friday night, we were hoping it wasn't too busy and thankfully, it wasn't. We sat at a table near the music and it was a bit loud but they did turn it down, which we thought was nice. The Gummy Bear Martini is one of my favorites so I started with that. Since they had a special menu, we wanted to try some of the new items. I ordered the Gumbo and we decided to share the Beef Empanadas. We also ordered the Bourbon Bacon Meatballs, which we love. The food was served pretty quickly. Unfortunately, I wasn't a fan of the Gumbo! It had a peculiar taste that I couldn't quite pinpoint. The Beef Empanadas weren't bad but could've been seasoned better, I enjoyed the chutney on top. The Bourbon Bacon Meatballs weren't a hit this time, which was disappointing. We remembered them being more saucy and flavorful, but they tasted like the frozen meatballs from the store with some sauce on top. Very underwhelming. I grabbed the Bee Sting, which consisted of honey habanero moonshine, lemon juice and simple syrup and I loved it. We also ended the night with Espresso Martinis. Overall, the food just didn't hit the mark this time but the drinks were great as always. My friend even had them customize a drink for her and it turned out very good. Our server was absolutely amazing though! She was personable and made our experience very enjoyable. I'm sure we'll return because it's one of our favorite spots but I hope we have a better food experience next time.

Such a great variety. Fresh fruit of all kinds, french toast, waffles and chicken, biscuits and gravy, bacon, sausage , scrabbled eggs, quiche, house potatoes, deviled eggs, and a charcuterie board . On the sweet side they had mini cinnamon rolls, danish, brownies, cookies and cupcakes with the galentine theme. The lovely staff were genuinely happy to take photos for us without any prompting. The flow of the buffet was perfect, and the food presentation was delightfully charming! There was a photo back drop available and the decor was so festive, and classy yet simple. The decor wasn't over the top , it was just the right amount of decorations to add pizzazz and celebrate with festive spirit. We all had a very enjoyable time celebrating Galentine's day! It was a wonderful event in an equally wonderful space. The music was on point, as well as the volume level. It was loud enough to enjoy the music, yet low enough that you could hold a conversation without screaming to hear each other. It was very peaceful and even if you don't choose a booth, the tables on the opposite side of the bar do provide some privacy due to the small partitions. The variety of food offered was just right (not overwhelmingly too many options and not too little options) and the food was tasty. It was an excellent first impression that left me excited to await what other fun events they will hold in the future.

For our first round of drinks we had the Swizzle (10/10) strong and yummy and the Blue Hawaiian (8.5/10) it was sweet and tasty, not too strong. We also tried the Blackened Mahi Mahi Tacos (4/10) they were dry and even after I asked for extra sauce, I still wasn't satisfied. Either the fish, the slaw, or the sauce had a weird tangy after taste! On the side I had some Macaroni Salad (10/10) that was yummy for sure! Our server was Nathan and he was friendly and accommodating!! I like the amount of happy hour options compared to some other restaurants with just a few. We got burger sliders with fries, calamari, poke nachos, and chicken lettuce wraps. The calamari was ok but it was some very tough ones to chew and the portion was small. The tartar sauce that came with it was good and a little spicy. The poke nachos were decent, but I'm not a raw girly to often, so I'd definitely ask if it could be seared. I put it in the air fryer at home, and it was pretty good. My daughter enjoyed it!! The lettuce wraps were just ok, the chicken was kinda rubbery and chewy. The wonton shell was delicious though and the sauce was good. My sliders were supposed to be all the way with lettuce, tomato, onions, and secret sauce. But when they came to the table they were plain with no sauce. I started to eat and about 5 minutes later the food runner brought my correct order. They said they gave me the table next to ours food. So the waiter came back to take it back, and I asked if they'd throw it away? He said yes! Which kinda bothered me. I asked since it was going in the garbage and it wasn't my mistake, could I keep it. He said the manager wouldn't allow it. With inflation why would the manager rather trash perfectly good food? It makes me nervous when restaurants take food back. If it's sat down on a table it shouldn't be returned, just take the loss, because how do I know your not going to replace it and serve it to someone else. I'm not a fan of that!! I'm not accusing them of doing that, but that's the thoughts that run through my mind in situations like that. The table was spacious at the booths and it was clean inside. There's street and garage parking. We went on a good day when it wasn't a wait for a table. The hostess was very nice. She was cheerful and engaging! I'd go back to try other happy hour dishes. Check them out!!

While we did have a few bumps during our dining experience last night overall far as the ambience the service and the decor hands down Top Notch so a five stars it is! We were meeting others here for dinner last night so it was a party of six and we sat in the back area of the restaurant beautiful from front to end. Our waitress Chloe was amazing super helpful when asked for suggestions super patient as well as attentive throughout the night love her. The manager Kelly was super nice as well. My husband ordered the strip and fries and he loved it everything was cooked to Perfection for him. He ordered a Crown Royal and Sprite but it first came out as Crown Royal and Coke but our waitress quickly apologized and turn that back around and my husband had the Crown and Sprite while he wasn't a fan even though this is just one spirit with the mixer he said it wasn't good enough for another. He just stuck with his water for the rest of the night. Now on to me we started out with the Rockfish bites and calamari not a fan of calamari so I'll pass on that but it seemed to be a hit at the table I did finish up a few bites and they were very very good they also brought out complimentary bread I believe one was just a Italian and the other one was a honey oat or just Oat I had that with the butter as well as the olive oil very good I can eat the bread over and over again Lord forgive me nevertheless on to the drinks... I had the lavender drop martini and a margarita both 10 out of 10 if you like sweet go for the lavender drop if you like something strong Margarita it is and this is the first time I've ordered a margarita and it came out in a tall glass and I was a fan of it so kudos to JG for that... On to my meal I ordered the beef tenderloin and asked for a crabcake to be added and I chose the fresh green beans as my side. My meal came out first I could already tell the beef tenderloin was not cooked to my desire of medium well from what I know now someone else at the table had ordered a medium steak so I may have gotten her plate but I let Chloe know and Chloe was able to take that back and get it fixed it came back out still not to my liking however I did begin eating the crab cake and the green beans and they were divine... The third attempt Kelly the manager brought out my tenderloin and it was good at that point it was so good I couldn't stop eating so like I said even though with some bumps in the road throughout our dining experience last night still worthy of five stars super excited to return... I'm interested in trying the happy hour with the different martinis as well as small plates that are at a good price. Maybe servers were all still asleep on their feet from Valentines the night before, and should try later in the day next time? *Not likely a next time. The greeting was friendly enough and straight to a table. We were given a menu, but had to ask for the brunch menu. One of which was greasy to the touch. It took a few minutes for a server to greet us, despite us being the only table in the lobby. We ordered the Bloody Mary, the first disappointment. Tasted like canned tomato juice, and the garnish wasn't close to what was advertised. The waiter did applogise when I asked about the bacon etc, and brought 2 small pieces of regular bacon *not the candied advertised, and dried out celery sticks. We ordered relatively quickly, the Eggs Benedict and the Tuscan Scramble, and a side of the candied bacon. It took the kitchen about 15-20 minutes to come out. Presentation was messy, the temp on the Benedict was warm, and flavour wasn't anything special. The scramble was reltively hot and good flavour, but wasn't very appealing to look at. The "crispy" potatoes were not. As we sat waiting and chatting, looking around the dining room we noticed how dingy and dirty the seats and floor were, the salt and pepper grinders were sticky, and the utensils I opened initially all had obvious food particles stuck to them. Server checked in after about halfway through, didn't bother with a complaint, nothing to be done at that point. All in all, for the 2 of us, ~$80 was way overpriced for what was served.
