Great chicken with a satisfying crunch. We tried three different kids: original (plain-ish), soy garlic, and the yangnyum. We got medium spicy on the soy garlic and yangnyum because my husband and I like spicy food but had never tried Vons before. The original and soy garlic were great, but the medium yangnyum was so spicy that it ruined my mouth fit the rest of my meal and made me feel poorly for the next half hour or so. I definitely wouldn't order it again. On another note, their French fries are great - nice and crisp on the outside but soft inside. My parents ordered the boneless SAMM chicken, which was enough for 3 people. The pickled daikon radish was delicious. I got the combo meal with rice and coleslaw. The chicken was crispy and not overly breaded, it was perfect and delicious. The service was good and pretty fast. I wish they had dine in but the food was still good even after a 15 minute drive home. I think they're chicken is much better and cheaper compared to other places. Daniel was EXTREMELY accommodating and helped recommend what would work best to feed the group we had over. First time trying Vons Chicken. It was very good. Great pot stickers, the rice cakes were something we hadn't seen before, and we enjoyed them. The crunchy chicken was crunchy. I got the mild version of the sauce. Rice was good. The owner and two employees who appeared to be his family members were working there at the time. They were very friendly, welcoming, and chatty. The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. Great to see something finally done after awhile with that cool old building.
