I've been taking my car to Volvo Tech for 4 years now, and it is hands down the best repair shop ever in terms of honesty, price, and overall service. If you own a Volvo and want to keep it for a while, think no more, this is the place to come. Walid and Fernando are wonderful. Always friendly, helpful, accommodating, and realistic with the time frame the work will take. They clearly love what they do, and know what they are doing. Walid also gives me suggestions and tips to make my car last longer, which I haven't gotten many from other mechanics unless they want to push for an extra service or repair. read more

First time customer. Very pleased with work done on my 2020 Volvo S60. Replaced all 3 motor mounts and performed brake fluid flush. Dealt with Walid and Fernando. Very courteous and professional. No nonsense. Car was ready next day after OEM parts were obtained from local Volvo dealer. Fair price. 5 stars. read more

Have a Volvo C70 2012 - hard-top convertible. A corner of the inner top lining was falling and needed to get it fixed. Found this shop and the reviews were good so, I called. Explained the situation and was asked to bring it in the next day!! Once there, I asked them to check the engine and an estimate. As the Car is already out of guarantee, I had also have been looking for a knowledgeable mechanic for annual / maintenance checkups. Before the end of the day, I was called and provided with a detailed explanation of findings and options /suggestions. We reached an agreement to proceed with repairs. Car was ready on schedule. The top fixed, as well as the agreed engine repairs and tune-up - WOW - car now drives like brand new! Thrilled with the professionalism and the quality of the work done (BTW: 1 year guarantee in all the work done!) Very satisfied and thrilled to have found a go-to shop for my Volvo - which is a Classic. Great high quality service. Not cheap, yet reasonable. Highly recommended. read more

Just took my 2014 Volvo xv60 for its 90k maintenance. The location is near aventura/north Miami stand alone building, very clean and organized. I dropped the car off at 11 and took uber home. Wally, the owner, called to give me a quote on the service and the repair finish time. Wally is very pleasant and his shop very neat. My car was ready by 4:30. My receipt had the service listed which included:,all the filters, air, cabin, oil change, spark plugs. Wally honored the yelp coupon. My car was not in need of any major repair just tune up. The car was running smoothly. The cost of the service was exactly same as dealer. 3 stars because I thought being an independent mechanic would be a lot cheaper as the dealer offers a car loaner, rotates your tires, caps all your other fluids, and also gives your car a wash before turning in to you. Thank you Wally for your service. read more

I have been going to Volvtech for over 10yrs first with my 2003 XC90 and most recently 2018 XC60 .They are first class with the service provided and answer any questions you might have. I would recommend them to any Volvo for servicing of your vehicle. read more

One of the best places to take your Volvo for service. I've been servicing my 2006 Volvo XC 90 here for years.

Great center! Our family has been served in this service for many years. Real specialists work here and you can get professional service and care for your Volvo car. I trust my cars only to this service center. Great prices, highly recommend. read more

Although it's in kind of a weird area, the head mechanic was very nice and told me exactly what needed to be done and what didn't. I went in for my 2002 S60 because the check engine light came on and he explained the issue simply and gave me several options on how to fix it. It also was a very quick service as I stayed to wait until my car was done. So definitely worth the drive from South Beach where the volvo dealers seem to think I'm a millionaire. Will definitely be coming here the next time something goes wrong. read more

Absolutely fantastic people. I had been in Miami on business when my 2008 Volvo C30 broke down, and had it towed over. The work is top-notch, the staff is honest and great to work with. Absolutely some of the best in the business, and I expect that I'll be making the drive over to Miami for whatever I need next. Whatever your Volvo dealer quotes you, these guys will do it for about 25-35% less. read more

I used Volvo Tech for eight years to service my S70 and S80 Volvo's. Their work was great! Their prices always beat the dealers. But most importantly, Waleed and his team were the most honest and straightforward auto technicians that I've worked with in the last 40 years. I can't recommend them highly enough. read more

Volvo Tech is the only place I will take my 2007 XC70. They are honest with fare prices.

I own a 2000 Volvo C70 convertible and live in the Florida Keys. Irma damaged the top and so I had a new top installed. However, the mechanism stopped working properly and I had trouble finding someone who could fix it. After searching the internet, I discovered "Wally" at VOLVTECH INC. I'm so happy I did. It is well known that it can be a difficult to repair this problem; it's also hard to find experts on older cars, like mine. I'm so happy with the results and recommend them most highly! -Chris read more

This is an extremely easy review to write. Simply put, if you have a Volvo, and that car is out of warranty, bring that Volvo to Volvo Tech in Miami. Simple as that!! Our 2006 S60, has been a very difficult car from the start. Many of the 2006's have been electrical nightmares from the start, including ours. Little things here and there, then big things. Finding a place to work on it has been a chore. This car was involved in an accident a while ago, The Hartford insurance company had it repaired at Miami Collision Center in Palmetto bay.. First mistake. They literally pieced it back together using anything the could find. The hood wouldn't even stay up after the job was done. After fighting with them for nearly a year, we cut our loses and moved on. Never take your car there. About a year after the collision the AC started going bad. We shopped around, Deel wanted an arm and a leg to repair it, so we went to David's Volvo off of Bird road. Second mistake. They replaced the compressor and said it was good as new, blowing less than 70 degree air. They couldn't figure out what was wrong with it. They just named parts that were broken. I replaced parts with genuine Volvo parts, that were easy to access and didn't require much to repair. Still wasn't 100%. David's Volvo wanted to replace the simple new parts, probably to resell!! They insisted everything was working fine, but continued to nickel and done us. Finally we came across Volvo tech..... Not making this review any longer than I have, I will simply say that the car is fixed!! PLUS....it was fixed correctly at a fraction of the cost. This shop takes pride in a job well done, and is ashamed and embarrassed for horrible work done by other shops. Rest easy knowing that your car will be in great hands... I highly recommend Volvo Tech. They are now the proud technicians of this families Volvo! Thank you guys read more

Volvo Tech I took my first Volvo 240 to Wally in 1990. He replaced the Turbo at the time. From that point on I continued using his service. After selling my 1989 240S, I bought my next Volvo from Wally which he made sure it was always running in top shape. After several years, I decided to purchase another beauty he was selling so I upgraded again to a newer Black 4 door 1999 240S that was so clean and just what I wanted. As you can see, I have owned Volvo's for many years now. I have never taken them to anyone but Wally. His mechanics have been with him since I found them. I feel he has always been honest, fair and reasonable with his price's. I have checked the dealer's many times, and he has the best price and service. He's become a friend too; I enjoy my times when I do have to take the car in for a checkup we make time to talk just about everything. Wally and his staff are always willing to help you out. My car now is a 2006 S60, and he is keeping this one in tip-top shape too. Thanks Wally for 26 year's of keeping me on the road in the best car "Volvo". read more

VolvTech is a rarity in Miami. I inherited my mother's 1998 S70. After several unsatisfactory visits to the dealership, I found VolvTech, who fixed multiple issues with my car, even a few that the dealership claimed not to be able to diagnose. Wally is thoughtful, fair and very fast. He also doesn't push fixes on you, and often comes up with alternate solutions. It's been a pleasure to take the car in over the past few years, and it's running perfectly. The bottom line is that VolvTech has my trust and therefore will always get my business. I highly recommend skipping the dealership and going straight to VolvTech. read more

Brougt our 2008 XC90 there for service the last couple of years. Great service, good prices & honest. Doesn't try to sell you anything extra that is not needed. Very happy with service at this place. read more

There just aren't many places you can show up with a problem and get an honest assessment and fast turnaround. But Volvo Tech is such a place. Wally and his team just do great work. Highly recommend. read more

These guys know what they're doing. I had my Volvo serviced here in 2019, and I am writing this review 4 months later. I had BIG work done, the entire engine replaced! And it now runs very smooth, regardless of it having over 180k miles. I still go here for my oil changes. Previously I had been driving my used car with no coolant without knowledge of the coolant leak, so I messed up my engine. I didn't know why the car kept turning off on me. But now I drive with out that eery feeling of the car going bad on me any minute this is where I'll continue to take my car for maintenance read more

Just bought a 2005 Volvo XC90 with a bad tranny. Knowing I desperately needed my car fixed as soon as humanly possible, Marlan Henry (, who so happens to be a Master Volvo technician with 19+ years experience in Warren Henry Dealership!) generously worked on my vehicle, pulling double shifts with no hesitation at minimal costs. Was back on the road in less than 72 hours. Six months later, car drives like new, no problems since. Fast, Friendly, Honest & obviously experienced. They provide excellent service & the best pricing in town (, I shopped around for quotes!) Shop manager was friendly and professional; kept me updated through out service. Don't bother with dealership, go straight to Volvo Tech. http://volvtechinc.repair.bz/ 305.653.3243 read more

After going from Volvo dealer to Volvo dealer, only to get ripped off every time, a friend of mine told me about Volvo Tech. I decided to give it a try since I had nothing to lose. That was 6 years ago; I never went to another Volvo dealer for all my services and repairs since then. Volvo Tech has incredible service, great prices, and expert certified technicians. Walid the owner is a great guy, very friendly, honest, and tells you exactly what your car needs. The facility is clean and everybody who works there are really friendly and courteous. I give 5 stars for Walid and his team! I highly recommend Volvo Tech. Gilmer P. Miami Beach, FL read more

Excellent place to take your Volvo. Professional service all the way!! I had been going to another local mechanic that wreaked havoc on my 2004 volvo. Wallid (not sure about spelling of his name) Did a great job. Car is purring like a kitten. I had the work done 5 months ago and I waited this long to write the review to make sure things were running well and they are. read more

Moved here after having a local mechanic that I trusted and was nervous about finding a good place here. Volvo Tech is very professional and friendly. They did an excellent job on some brake problems a while back and when I hit a cement curb and loosened my front bumper they fixed it for free. Very fortunate to have found this great service shop! read more

I have over 5 years of going to this mechanic to back up my review. Every time I have gone for a service or needed something replaced, like my brakes, I have always been happy with the outcome. He's an expert in Volvos, always gives a better price then the dealer and gets the job done fast. I really appreciate the owner, Wally, and how he has helped my wagon run its best! If you have a Volvo, I highly recommend you use him as your mechanic! read more

All I know is that I had major problems with my car after I took it to this mechanic for oil change. Which stop after I went back to dealership. Coincidence? I am not sure because a day after I took it there my my car had major problems. I will never know the truth, but I am certainly staying away from this mechanic. read more
