I saw Volta Locksmith's great reviews and asked for Adam, who came highly recommended. We updated our dated brass knobs and brass deadbolts throughout our house with chrome square shaped door handles and matching deadbolts. Adam came very quickly, was professional, very knowledgeable and immediately rekeyed 3 exterior door handles and 4 deadbolts so that 1 key will open all of them. Convenience is key! ; ) Adam was professional, very knowledgeable, knew exactly what to do and even went out of his way to make it easier to open all of our looks more smoothly. He completed this big job quickly and I could not ask for a better locksmith. The prices are great and I highly recommend Adam and Volta Locksmith to everyone. Thank you for your A+++ service, Adam! We will use you for all our locksmith needs and recommend your company and you to everyone we know! read more

You cannot trust this company do not do any business with them I was told it would be $45 to come out and $75 Perlock to have it re-keyed when the guy got here he was very rude he wanted me to pay 189 per door I told him that was out of my budget then he got really mad and told me he was not leaving my house until I gave him $300 I told him I was going to call the police he was banging on my door then he left now he's threatening to shoot my house up he keeps calling me harassing me I feel unsafe knowing he's a locksmith and he can get in my house at night when I called the company and told them what was going on the lady called a supervisor and he pretty much laughed at me like this is a joke horrible read more

I needed a locksmith asap to change my locks. They had someone out in less than 10 minutes. Michael was super nice, professional and was quick and efficient. He educated me on how the lock worked and which lock was best to suit my needs. Also the young lady who answered the call was great at scheduling and got me taken care of with ease. I will definitely keep them handy for future needs and would recommend. read more

So I used these guys two more times after my initial review. The second time they sent the same technician I had the first time and he was fantastic! The third time, they sent a different technician and dude WAY overcharged us for something simple. We had to pay $345 for him to unlock a room we were locked in and change out a door knob! This only took him 15 min and was nowhere near the amount of work the first guy had to do! Given that I was a loyal customer and used them a third time, I was incredibly disappointed that they sent a dude who would price gauge when we were in a pinch. Owners, if you are reading this please respect your loyal customers and clearly communicate pricing before hand. I can't recommend this company anymore for these reasons. Honesty and transparency is important! read more

I locked my bathroom door by accident and couldn't open it. I called Volta and a they told me it would be a $29 service charge. The response was VERY quick -- about 20 minutes. The guy arrived, he looked at the locked door and took out a piece of plastic that looked like cutting board. He put it in the door and said, "this costs $250" and opened it about 2 seconds later. So the service charge was $29 on top of the $250. He literally told me it was $250 AS HE OPENED THE DOOR. He was in my house a total of 4 minutes, including the time it took for me to complain that this was an outrageous charge and to Venmo him the $279. This company is not honest and absurdly expensive. Find an honest, reasonably priced alternative. read more
