After checking other local options I quickly discovered I payed $300 more than typical. My suggestion would be to call a few places first if you can. Mine was an urgent need but not so urgent that I couldn't have called a few places. I regret not doing that now. While I may not have been forced, i certianly felt obligated. Obligation is a powerful presence when it's 1am, you're tired, in this persons face, and just want the ordeal to be over. I originally was asked to leave a kind review (quickly made up a 5 star review and showed Ari) on the spot in order to save 10%. So, who wouldn't want 10% off a fortune? The response to my post is laughable from the owner. Again, you can read my conversations attached. Nothing to hide. I paid the money. We have a saying down in Texas, "a hit dog will holler." Basically, if they didn't feel unreasonable, they'd have nothing to say via this public post or it would far more congenial.

This is really confusing. The number I dialed doesn't match the number on the website so I thought…read moreI had the wrong number. Just called that number again to confirm that this is the correct company I'm reviewing. Unfortunately, I was in a bind and my door was stuck. The latch would not slide and so I was unable to close my door, leaving my apartment exposed and unsecured. I called All Pro for help and ended up getting my two lock (combo door locks) replaced. The technician, Rafael Barak, said he'd give me an estimate but by the time I checked in, he had already replaced both locks. I expected to pay $200, maybe $300 but no. He was charging me over $650. After back and forth, he reduced the price a couple times. Paid him a certain amount via Venmo, which was another red flag. I was in disbelief that within 20 minutes, I'd be charged so much. After he left, I did some research on prices for products within the same brand as the new lock the technician installed. I know there is an installation fee but prices for the products were far from the amount on the written receipt. The creepy part is that I called the next morning to get more info on prices for the locks. When I told phone rep about my experience, he sounded surprised and stated he'd forward my info to the supervisor. Minutes after, the technician called me to confront me and ask what was going on. I don't know if all staff is in on a scheme but this was odd. I know that this is the correct Yelp business because when the technician called me, he acknowledged my review. I initially submitted a 5-star review with few words as a "placeholder" and updating now, 2 months later, hoping they're not able to identify me and call me again. When you call, they only call themselves "the locksmith" and don't use "all pro". And I received return calls from different numbers which throws me off. I don't know. Just seems so sketchy. Anyway, besides a delay in arrival, then work was great so I'm leaving a high review still but I'm writing this to let future customers know to be more attentive, ask more questions and just be aware. All Pro should be more transparent and they don't seem very ethical. I'm not one to ask for lower prices if I truly feel it's worth it but so many things felt "off" and I was left so confused from my google search, up until my last phone exchange with the technician. Like, I was expecting someone to fix my lock, not replace it and it felt things were done without my consent. Anyway, a little scared they might call me again after they read this updated review.

ABA Services were professional, kind, and considerate. I highly recommend them.

They tried to charge an additional $800 for unauthorized work on top of the up-charge of another $200 for work that was initially quoted to be $600. Inexperienced. Unprofessional. Scam artists. They sold me used parts as if they were new!! On top of all of this they damaged the door during installation (see photos). They left the door-frame dented and with a large sharp fragmented holes. I have filed a complaint with the Los Angeles Division of The Better Business Bureau as well as filed a police report. My parents ended up giving me the number to Los Angeles Locksmith. I trust my parents because they are extremely picky and would never recommend someone undeserving. I called the number and the lady I talked to was reassuring, which put me at ease. She told me that someone would come as soon as possible. Barely 15 minutes passed and a locksmith had already arrived. He was quiet but very kind. I was surprised at how fast he worked. When he let me in the house, I asked if he had time to change my front door locks. I did not want to get locked out again. He quoted me a very reasonable price, so I ended up changing my locks.
