It's truly hard for me to rate this location based on TWO very DRASTIC views on our experience here. We are from out of town and came to purchase some clothing. My friend Cody asked if by any chance we could take a few pictures on a bike cuz we were both there for a photoshoot. The man asked the manager and it was approved, they even were accommodating to ask which one we wanted and that they'd pull it out for us. We found a cool spot with easy access to bike and they only had to move one clothing rack. Well in less than a minute of shooting MADISON came over and started throwing a complete fit! I mean we had our mouths open we couldn't believe how rude and disrespectful she was not only to us as customers who got permission to do this but also the other staff that was helping us (gentleman in the glasses). She went in and on and on! It was soooo unprofessional and disrespectful. We were about to walk out and not make our purchases due to her putting such a bad taste in our mouths, when Ava (I believe her name was) came and saved the day! She offered to give us a tour of the location including the upstairs balcony and service areas. She was beyond kind and very knowledgeable. Cody is a huge Harley fan and avid rider so he was in heaven. Because of her we stayed and purchased items. Someone needs to fire Madison. I have never in my 37 years experienced someone so unpleasant and disrespectful! She has the worst attitude and of course when Cody bought his items she switched and was all flirtatious - like are you kidding me?!? Get rid of her! read more

"I previously bought a 23 Lowrider ST from Volcano and it was an overwhelmingly negative experience. I felt pressured by the sales staff, and I got a deal that wasnt great. It was clear that their only interest was to get the sale not to build the relationship. All good business is built on fairness and good relationships. This understanding creates mutual benefit. It left me with a poor impression and I honestly wasnt going to come back. I brought my bike in only for the required services. On my pre road trip check up, the service department ignored my question about my handlebars that had too much play. I rode all the way to NorCal and took my bike into another dealership where they checked the bars and verified that not only were they loose, but they were dangerously loose. They fixed them for me and sent me on my way. This, on top of a few other events made me not want to deal with Volcano at all. Recently I decided to upgrade my bike and I went in to Volcano and laid out this whole scenario to Karl, the Sales Manager. I said that I was open to working with them again and building a positive relationship and doing more business if it worked out. I can honestly say that Karl heard me and did what was necessary to get me an excellent deal and worked with Mike the finance manager to get me a good package on my 23 RGS. So happy with these folks!! Bought my first brand new bike here. I was told to talk with Colton from a buddy of mine that bought one from him. I live down in Albany. So it was a bit of a trip but so worth it. I called Colton and told him I was looking for a used Street Glide he said sure and we talk about them and then he said they also had a left over 21 that they were looking to sell and had room to move on it. He texted me pictures and we worked out a price. I had a pre approved loan which made it super easy as well. The gals in the clothing department were super as well and helped me with a new helmet and jacket as well. Dani in the fiancé office was super nice and easy to work with as well. If your bike shopping this is the place. All the bikes even used are super clean and look really sharp. Jerry in the parts department was a ROCKSTAR! This guy spent tons of time with me to get everything I wanted on my new Ultra Limited just right. He absolutely went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. He communicated consistently with me. Could not be happier with his service! Charlie and the service department where outstanding as well! When I showed up to get my bike, it needed a couple of adjustments. Charlie got his team on it right away. His communication was excellent and has walked me through every question I have had about my new bike. Colton was my sales rep and he worked hard to ensure everything was done right throughout the process. If you stop in, I'd recommend asking for him. He's the best! I had the bottom end of my Harley rebuilt last summer and didn't get a ride again till this summer I was told to bring it back at the 400 mile mark to check the oil to make sure there was no shavings. Right before the 400 mile mark my bike stopped running acted like it was starving for gas so I called volcano and they picked the bike up for free. The bike was there for a week and no one called me so I gave them a call. I was told that something happened to the computers and they lost all the information on what was wrong with my bike. so I let them know it needed an oil change. There was something wrong with the fuel system and while it was there, one of the mufflers was rattling. They told me it was gonna be in line and worked on the following week so I called back and nobody knew what was going on with it. I talked to Justice just said he was gonna take care of me. He did call me. Let me know the parts came in and then they dropped the ball again another week went by and I called. I talked to a girl. She said oh I'm your service advisor. I said no just this is supposed to be taken care of this and I was told that there was no notes in the file.. So that same day I talked to Justice and he told me yeah no problem. The parts are here your bikes gonna go into service first part of the week and you can call me on Wednesday and it should be just about done well I called Thursday the day after it was supposed to be ready and was told oh yeah your parts are here and the vehicle is in line to be worked on. So I talked to the manager the manager said hey listen maybe I can get it in for you Friday and get it done no promise but we'll see what we can do. Well, I got a call today which is Friday and guess what the bike was done so I went down to pick it up and they didn't do the oil change that was just one more frustrating thing to deal with. So my service advisor justice said hold on let me see what I can do. He walked in the back, came out and says you know what Mel we're gonna get that right back for you and we're gonna do the oil change for free come on back in about a half an hour. So I came back in about an hour and just told me sorry Mel I'm gonna have to charge you for that oil change. I paid the bill and said have a nice day. I don't think I'll ever take my bike there again. It was a horrible experience and no one seemed to give a shit. read more

It had been a long time since I stopped by Latus Motors. I wanted to see how things were since they changed to "Volcano". I went in during the week and was greeted by a couple of girls in sales, Zoe and Bee. They were very friendly to me. Fast forward to a random Saturday in May, I think it was the evening of the 15th, I was at Vogies bar in Gladstone. I've been going there for years. Everyone who grew up in Gladstone knows what I'm talking about. I was sitting there with a few friends, having a good time and I went to use the restroom. I walked in on these two girls who were yelling and being extremely obnoxious and doing dope in the bathroom. I was taken aback because they looked so young. Then I noticed they were wearing Volcano shirts. It was the girls, Zoe and Bee from Volcano Harley. I couldn't believe it. They were being completely disrespectful and obnoxious at a local bar where everyone goes. After that, I couldn't get myself to return to Volcano. My very first time in Volcano, I met Delane. I told him I was browsing online but I wanted to see the bikes in person. He spent hours walking me through each bike that I was interested in. Had me sit on each one and ask he how I feel about them. Educated me on each one and their differences. He was 100% helpful. Told them my experience coming in changed my perspective on specific bike that I thought would be a good fit so I told him that I would return once I can sit down and decide. Their internet specialist (Amanda) follows up with me and helps me set up another time for me to come in. The second time in, I've met with Steve. Steve was great. Very informative and helpful as well. I told them I was really interested in the fat bob and they helped me with some numbers because I also wanted to trade in my Yamaha R6. I told them I would need to discuss with wife prior to making decisions. They weren't pushy at all (which I think is very important coming from experience). Joe came in as well and was really trying to help me as much as he could with the numbers. But when I came back the 3rd time, it turns out it was more than what I could really afford. Steve and I walked around and discussed other options. I came across the low rider s which I didn't realize was on the floor until I saw it online. But I was also interested in the street glide (which was also out of my budget) . When we discussed numbers for the FXLRS, I also didn't realize that was also out of my budget. So i figured I lost hope in finally owning a Harley. They then showed me what I could get for my budget, but I wasn't 100% interested in the type of bike I was looking into. Until Travis comes in and asks me what bike is it that would make me say yes to and leave with today. I told him my budget and what bike (FXLRS). He then comes back and tells me the numbers AND also they would take care of my payoff completely. I took the numbers home and of course there were decisions that needed to be made and a lot of back and forth. And eventually made on an agreement after Joe comes back in the picture and really helped me a lot in the end. When they say they will do whatever it takes to help meet where we want to be, they mean by every word. Kudos to Mike (business manager/finance) also for being patient and understanding. At the end of the day, I ended up with the bike that was the best fit for me and also the bike that I 100% wanted. My advice, tell them what bike is it that you want 100% and what makes you comfortably happy and they will help you get there. Look for the names that I mention as well! read more

I live over an hour from this dealer & after talking to 2 employees 3 times in regards to 1 bike, I was click baited into the dealer. I was actually warned about the click bait issue by a friend. I was looking at a very specific bike that they were advertising on Craigslist, the add is still up. They sold the bike 2weeks ago & the shitty thing is i talked to 2 people & was lied to & told the bike was still for sale. They had no other bikes in that price range or with the options I was specifically looking for & kept trying to get me to buy brand new. I will never use this dealer again with their shady ass sales tactics. They were trying to sell me a bike with almost 4 times the miles for almost $5,000 more. Buyer beware. I went in a few days ago to buy a brand new Harley. Davidson, I wanted to trade in my current bike. I was looking at the street bob. M s r p on that bike is $16999 starting. Right out of the gate, they tell me an outdoor price of $23654!!!!! I told the sales guy (think his name was Allen) he was smoking Crack if he thought I was gonna pay that. He came back with $17999. Apparently abs is a separate upcharge. I asked if that was the out the door price. He said yes, except for d m v fees. That's fair. The interest rate and terms looked decent. Then he low balled my trade. Their own website told me that my trade at the lowest was $7700 and at the highest was $9300. He offered $7500....... Which I wasn't going to take. But then he said after it was all worked out that I'd be financing $13254. Which doesn't make sense because 17999+ 440 dmv is 18439. - 7500 is $10939. So there again he tried to slip in a second mark-up. He lost the sale naturally. His greed cost him his sale. Now look at all the reviews on this page. You're seeing two different pictures being portrayed. All the five star reviews are probably fake and or employees writing them so that they can boost their star count. All the one star reviews or less than five are the real reviews. Keep that in mind. The other crappy part about this is that Paradise HD is no better. Me and my buddy were there to buy a bike set up on appt. And we're interested in 2 other bikes. They could have sold 3 bikes in one day. But after 2.5 hours we never got a price on anything. I inquired about 3 different used bikes and never got a price. All they did, even tho we were paying out of pocket our info was take down on a credit application and wanted unnecessary information before they would even tell me a price. Which they never did. Then we find out that that the trade in value information we were given over the phone was totally false and were led to believe that trade in value would be the same whether or not that bike being purchased was new or used. The bike we had found on the website my buddy was there to purchase looked to be in mint condition in the photos stating 2200 miles, when he finally gets to see it and go for a test ride there was multiple scratches all over the tank forks and fenders. On the back the tag said repo and it had 6000 plus miles on it. The false advertisement and lies about the trade in is what led us to Finally giving up, as we were leaving finally the shop closed up for the night and we left empty handed and pissed off. read more

The Customer is only money to Volcano Harley My rating reflects the customer service experience I received from the service department team at Volcano Harley on June 14, 2024. I called the service department at Volcano Harley to schedule new tires install on my bike. I spoke with Chuck who seemed interested in providing a service to his customers. I explained to chuck I live 180 miles away, in the past I have purchased several bikes, have had engine modifications performed and purchased a lot of parts from Latus Motors and I am interested in continuing my relationship now with Volcano Harley. We scheduled to drop the bike off on a Friday (three weeks out) and was to pick it up that Sunday. This gave them flexibility to install the tires over a couple of days and it allowed me to attend a graduation in Corvallis Oregon over the weekend. Chuck said he would put my name on the tires and have them waiting for my appointment, I offered to put the tires on my card, but he said that is not necessary, pay at one time for everything. You can see where this is going! On Friday June 14th I dropped the bike off around 10:30 as planned with Niko in the service department, he understood I just rode 180 miles and leaving the bike until Sunday because I was heading to Corvallis. About 30 minutes later I got a call from Niko, he said the tires are out of stock and they won't be in for a week, come pick up your bike. Of course, I said that's BS, I scheduled three weeks ago, and they were in stock and my name on them. Anyway, I explained I was heading to Corvallis, and I could not get the bike until Sunday, Niko said no, Volcano cannot store the bike until Sunday, I told him that was the arrangement. Niko then said Volcano would only store a bike if they had completed worked on the bike and because the tires were not in stock, they have done no work on it, you need to get the bike out of the shop today. I told Niko BS! he must store the bike until I get back on Sunday as agreed. It is Volcano's fault I have no tires, Niko hung up the phone on me, I picked the bike up on Sunday. This was my first experience with Volcano Harley and my last, the entire service department failed. There are many other places I can spend my money. read more

I did need to know how much I was needing, though, because you can't just slap a debit card down for an $18,000.00 purchase. I called for a price and told a salesperson I need to know at least a ballpark figure. I needed jackets, boots and helmets for both myself and my wife. I got nowhere with those people. they treated me like a had Covid. No cooperation. they wanted me to come in and fill out financial stuff. finally I decided not to buy from them. I spent my money here in my town. found a used bike and bought the gear I needed from the local Honda dealership. never will I give Volcano HD my business. read more

I have about this dealership for quite awhile. An old friend of mine used to work here. We were in town for a weekend for my wife's birthday. So, since we both ride Harley's we thought we would go check it out. The dealership is impressive. It's very big and they have lots of inventory. I was not aware that they were a triumph dealer as well. We have always been big fans of Triumph Motorcycles. As we were checking some out, we were introduced to Matt Jachacy. He was very friendly and informative. I mentioned it was my wife's birthday and next thing I know he offered her a test ride with no obligation. Let me tell you, this made her day. She rode a new Triumph street Triple RS and had a blast. When we are ready, we will definitely make the trip back here to purchase. We also met Tyler who helped us out with some gear and helmets. He was great as well. The selection of clothing and gear was great. Everyone we spoke with was super friendly and helpful. Overall a really great experience. Then I called the parts dept to get a back rest for my heritage and was told they had everything thing I need to install the back rest and when I got there they told me that they did not have all of the parts I need after a 50 mile drive one way read more

I walked into Latus Motors having never even sat on a motorcycle before, and by the end of it, walked out with the keys to a 2018 Triumph Street Twin that is absolutely perfect for me. Being a new rider (and a female), there are a lot of considerations I needed to make--such as finding a bike that would comfortably fit my small physic, finding a bike that wouldn't be too much power for me to handle, and finding a bike that fit well into my price range. We tried out several, and landed on the Street Twin, which I love more than life itself. I didn't yet have my motorcycle endorsement on my license, so the salesman even let me go on a test ride, hanging onto the back! Being a new rider, I really appreciated all of their encouragement and knowledge. Tyler even took me on my first real street ride once I finished my Team Oregon class, and Colton let me follow him all the way to my house when I was finally able to take it home. I thought these were above-and-beyond gestures to welcome me to the motorcycle community and make me feel safe and confident. I have never hesitated to go back in for anything I've needed since I began riding, from gear to parts to bluetooth speakers for my helmet. I'm so grateful for all their help and knowledge. I went in to Volcano knowing how much I wanted to spend, how much I would down, and how much I was willing to make as payments. The numbers were reasonable and I was ready to pull the trigger. I was walked right over to a bike way more expensive than my stated budget. Then walked into some upstairs back room where the salesman acted like he couldn't find "just the bike for me". I was then shown a bike that appeared to be just the right bike. They ran the numbers, came back with a sticker price $2500 (25%) over blue book and then tacked on shop fees and other fees which essentially ate up the potential down payment. The proposed payments were double what I stated I was willing to pay. Then they tried to say they could put me on a brand new bike and get me to the payment I wanted. I said run the numbers. Again they came back with ridiculous numbers. I'm certain now they didn't hear anything I said. They're just pushing inventory. Zero customer service. Then they called me several times trying to con me back in because they had some other options they hadn't tried previously. Not scammers. But they're not looking out for the customer. First rule in customer service is to take care of your customer. Create a customer for life is more valuable then a one time sale. read more

Been in twice in the last two weeks , the woman working the parts counter took nearly an hour trying to get me o-rings for the drain plugs and a gasket for a after market derby cover. Managed to give me the wrong o-rings, someone else found the gasket. Today I went back to get a mileage reward signed for a 100,000 , kind of a big deal at least to me. Guy acted like it was really an imposition, don't think he said two words or even verify the mileage. I had intended to buy some new boots and grips while there but decided to spend my money somewhere more appreciative. Too bad they have came to this. read more

I was riding by Volcano and decided to swing in and look a upgrading my Harley (first time in since it was Latus). Good selection of bikes but ONLY A FEW HAD YEAR AND PRICE info on them. I found out that trying to get a straight answer for price was a f'ing joke! I talked to two guys (one a pretty cool, Army vet) but neither would give me a straight answer on price, "Low $20's" or maybe "Mid to high $20's". And then they wanted a copy of my ID, address, phone, favorite color, sexual preferences, etc JUST TO GIVE ME A TRADE-IN RANGE for my bike! I was told, "We need to make sure it's your bike." I told them the bike is worth what it's worth to you regardless of it I own it or Santa Claus owns it, just give me the number. This is some pretty sketchy, old car salesman sh*t!!! First THEY WOULDN'T GIVE ME A PRICE on their bikes I was considering (only a range) and then want my detailed info just to get a trade-in value. F THAT!! I use to love going into Latus, if for no other reason than to meet up with friends or crew (and maybe a hot dog). Timber Town in Salem and Paradise in Tigard (and any other straight-dealing shop) post model year and prices and don't make you spew personal info and run credit check just to answer basic questions! The Vet IO TRIED to work with is a cool dude but he was hamstrung by policies. Too bad. I had cash in the bank to write a check but VALCANO WILLL NEVER SEE ME THER AGAIN. read more

I base my rating on the simple fact that I'm an out of state Harley owner who bought extended warranty that was to cover tires, and mechanical issues. And was told that if your traveling out of state, you can go to any Harley shop, and that they would get your repairs done as fast as possible to get you back on the road. So had called this place and was told that they could get it done, dropped the bike off on the 6th, rented a car for 5 days, and was told that it would be ready on the 11th. Showed up on the 11th, told it would be done by the end of the day. Had to rent a room, woke up the 12th, walked over to the Harley shop, got told they were working on it, that was at 10:00 in the morning, I've been sitting here since 11:00, and been getting told that it's getting worked on, they just started on it. Now it's 3:00 in the afternoon, it's hotter than hell, haven't had anything to eat, and I have to be back in Washington state, which is a 5 hour commute if I don't hit traffic, and it's not counting stops for fuel. I also had a salesman who was poking at me to just trade it in and get a new one, and they would have me on the road ASAP. At least they could have told me earlier that they would be another 5 or 6 hours before they could maybe have it done. read more

They had a quota to meet on new bike sales we drove 4 hours and left not with the bike we wanted and in financial debt when we had 20 grand down. Called about getting replacement floorboards and the parts guy apparently couldnt figure out which ones I had. Gave him year model and trim still couldn't figure it out. Pretty pathetic and useless. I called paradise harley in Tigard for the same thing and their parts guy found the exact floorboards price and approx.. shipping time. Will be going to paradise for parts. read more
