When it finally came time to go over numbers I was fine with it, then it all the sudden there were three safety recalls and they can't sell the bike. I was also told it would be ready for me to test ride because every time I came in the battery was dead on the gold wing. Jerry in party is a great guy and Steve in sales was great. The sale manager was condescending and was trying to sell me a 30k bike. I will never buy a bike through them because of the customer service was so bad!!! Attached the goldwing I was trying to get. I rented an HD Pan America for a long weekend in the beginning of June. I was thrilled to take the bike out to the McKenzie Bridge area of the Cascades to do a few days of exploring. The weather forecast was perfect, all of my gear easily fit into the big touring cases, and Joel from Eagle Rider helped me sync the bike to my phone to enable the on-bike GPS. As I prepared to head out Joel told me to give him a call if I needed anything. I've rented from this location numerous times over the years, and several other locations as well, and have never had any issues with the bikes while on my little tours. Unfortunately, on the first day I noticed that the throttle response didn't feel right, particularly at higher rev rates. The bike just seemed sluggish to respond, if at all, when I needed a little extra power and I started to feel hesitant and unsure about the bike's ability to maneuver out of dangerous situations. I called Joel the morning of my second day, a Saturday, and told him what was going on. Without hesitation he offered to trailer a second Pan America to my location three hours south of Portland on his day off the following day. The next day Joel showed up bright and early to McKenzie Bridge with a new HD Pan America in tow. The replacement bike was perfect, and my trip was saved by Joel's incredible service. AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! RUN THE OTHER WAY!!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHADY BUSINESS!!! I was coming from out of the country and very excited to book the Route 66 tour. It looked like the perfect setup--hotel rooms coordinated, fantastic motorcycles provided, and of course legendary Route 66. About a week before the tour, I had a motorcycle accident and broke my foot and wasn't able to go. I had paid $4,500 in deposits. I sent them documentation including medical records and pictures of me in the hospital. Their response? They told me to POUND SAND. They claimed that they were responsible for hotels yet I looked at the hotel cancellation policies and only 24 hours' notice was required. I informed them more than a week before the hotel dates. We are motorcycle riders, unfortunately, accidents happen. These guys are crooks. Stay away from them. read more

Only place around to rent Harley so options are limited. Had 1 full day planned to ride on my vacation. Ended up having to wait for half of that day for the bike to be ready which cut way into my riding time. Owner offered me a couple free hours and a tank of gas, but that did nothing to give me back the time I lost on my vacation sitting around in his shop. Overall the bike was great and brand new. The service people were real friendly. My only suggestion is to have the bikes 100% ready BEFORE the reservation. I'll come back and I'll recommend them, but be sure to call ahead of your reservation and make sure your bike is ready for you. read more

Eagle rider is now stealing customer funds. I rented, understanding that my 20% was non-refundable. Subsequently, I added and additional $500, to lessen the sting of the balance of my $1600 rental. My reuse cancel due to corona, 2 weeks prior to pick. When I cancelled, I fully expected to not get the $296 deposit, but the extra $500 was not part of that. They are now refusing to refund my $500. That's is stealing- plain & simple. I've had good experiences with this company in the past, but out right theft is not something I ever expected. read more

This is my second rental from from Mike at EagleRider, Portland . Last April I rented an Electra Glide and rode 600 miles in less than 2 days. I saw the ocean and I rode around Mount Hood in a day and a half. Yesterday morning I picked up my bike and saw Mike again and meant Cody. The customer service from both was first class and welcoming the entire time I was getting ready to pull out on my BMW R 1200 RT. Mike was giving me so many route suggestions that the 3 days previous work I put into mapping out a route went out the window :-) if he tells you to take 47 and not 26, follow his directions :-) When I returned Sunday, we'll say, a little late, Cody was forgiving which finished off my perfect weekend! I could go on... put it this way, you won't find better service, a great selection of bikes, and a more fantastical place to ride in this country. Really- you need to do it. read more

My wife called to reserve a bike for my birthday. They set up an Electraglide for Saturday. He asks "in case they don't have tbe Electragilde, what is your second chooce?" She said "The Street Glide would be ok" and they said great, see you on the 24th. At no time did they say there was a chance NO BIKES woild be available. We show up and not only was there no Electraglide, they didn't have any Harleys. Or Indians, or any cruisers at all. Why take a reservation for a motorcycle you don't have? How is that even possible? If we would have known they didn't have any, we could have gone somewhere else. Instead we were told they would have it and they didn't. read more

Rented a Triumph for 24 hours with my buddy. We toured the mountainsides and saw some really great stuff that was made all the sweeter by being on the back of a great bike. The guys couldn't have been more helpful, both while renting and in recommending us the most fun rides around the city. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. BIG SCAM. Just lost 12 credit total $377 and all they can tell me is sorry we can't help you. Been a customer over a year and was trying to find the right bike that fits me since I'm a big guy before I go buy one. So I saved all my credit. And every time I try to use it no bikes to be found. Or out of state pickup. So I can never find a bike that's big enough. They are always out. And now all my credits are gone. Really bad customer service over the phone. Saying well we can't do anything so just go register again and start for 1 credit. read more

Rented a Harley this weekend to ride up to Washington. Flew in from PDX, took the redline to the green line, and they picked was up at the end of the line Clackamas. They picked me up and drove to the shop. Motorcycle was a Harley Sportster 1200, and was in good condition. Game with two nice size leather looking saddlebags, and that helped a ton. The crew was nice and got me on my way fairly quickly. Opted for the full coverage insurance, which was $33 a day I believe, but would cover worst case scenario. Rode though rain and gravel and mud..Bike did me good. I'll be back! read more

I finished my 2nd rental yesterday. I was due to return today but did not like the Road king they put me on. I wanted an Indian and did not enjoy my drive to the coast. Dylan was kind about it and offered me the rest of the day on an Indian but I was too stressed after 300 miles on a bike that did not ride great. We called a month ahead to reserve a couple of Harley Sportsters. We called a week or so later just to confirm our rental and were told they didn't have any Sportsters available but could put us on Heritage's. At that time we asked the bikes be equipped with GPS. They assured us that they would. When we arrived we were told they didn't have any GPS equipped bikes. This was disappointing because we could have brought our own and easily attached. You need to be aware that there are significant insurance charges that will be added to the rental...this is optional but I think necessary. Overall, the experience was good, the staff was helpful. Other than the GPS issue....they could have resolved this by simply calling us beforehand....all was good. I would rent from them again. read more
