Sarah was extremely rude and unprofessional over the phone. I asked about some vehicle availability and if they did after hours drop offs. She kept sarcastically laughing on the phone and taking abnormal long pauses before responding which was bizarre. I asked if she had an SUV for tomorrow and she said she did not have that type of car in stock. I said online it showed they had some and she laughed saying it was not accurate. Ok? I asked if she had any car for tomorrow and again she laughed and said no. The whole thing was a very odd interaction and she seemed like she didn't want us renting a vehicle from her location. read more

TURO host canceled my reservation 1am on the day I was suppose to pick up the car. Did a last minute reservation on Enterprise (thru Costco) and got a full size car (Camry) for $65 less than TURO. My reservation was at the Gresham branch, which was nearby where I was staying (convenient). I get there at opening (9am), and there was already 4 others waiting. There was only 1 person working the pick up/return exchanges. No knock on that, I just wanted to give some praise to their awesome team member Rochelle! She took on whatever was thrown her way (1 customer showed up with a huge snake on his shoulders lol) and handled it with total coolness. She even helped me out, and my situation was making things a little difficult. The return was super easy and quick. Thank you Enterprise and especially Rochelle for taking great care of me. read more

Despite not having a full size suv on their lot as I reserved, I will still rate them 5 stars for the effort to make things right. The biggest vehicle they had was cross over which would not have fit my family comfortably. Justin suggested that he could have someone from the other Enterprise lot bring a bigger vehicle over or rather than me waiting I could take the cross over to that lot myself and swap it out. It was only a few minutes away so I didn't mind. Justin also offered a gas compensation for my time spent exchanging vehicles. It was a smooth process and before I knew it I was in a vehicle that suited my family. Thank you, Justin! read more

Shady sales tactics. Purchased coverage for a rental vehicle. Rep told me it was $39.99 and the $200 hold on my card would be returned once the vehicle was returned and inspected. Specifically asked the rep if the total for the coverage was only $39.99. Turns out the rep failed to mention it was $39.99 per day. Got charged an additional $230 from shady sales tactics. read more

Not impressed with this branch. I made reservations a month ahead of time and also confirmed day before. Requested an economy car. When I got there they said their inventory was low and the only thing that had available was a minivan. They recommended I drive out to Vancouver location as "they stock 500 cars". Drove out there to tell me they don't have anything except a minivan as well, and referred me to a 3rd location back over the river to Oregon. On a wild goose chase I go! What's the point in making a reservation? DO NOT USE ENTERPRISE IF AT ALL POSSIBLE!! read more

Most Enterprise agencies do not have cars available within 48 hours. Gresham location had 0 cars available and were generally unhelpful. If you run a huge business, they could at least invest in new or used cars to have them available for customers. Figure it out. read more

Absolutely love this team at Enterprise! They communicate extremely well, are attentive and quick to offer a fair experience. Thanks to everyone there for making my car rentals easy and hassle free. I won't rent from anyone else. -Kirstan read more

Enterprise needs to get their stuff together. My husband and 5 kids broke down in the Dalles Oregon. He called this location and they said they had a specific vehicle. His father in law drove him all the way over there from the Dalles, only to find out that they did NOT have the vehicle that they originally said they HAD. So...this location told my husband that the burnside location has the vehicle he needed and sent him and his father in law over there. When they got there, that location did NOT have the vehicle that the Powell location said they had either...SO....they were NOT helpful, USELESS SERVICE! He ended up driving to airport way's Enterprise location. It ended up taking him over THREE HOURS just to pick up a vehicle! WILL NOT USE ENTERPRISE AGAIN or refer them to anyone! WORST SERVICE EVER! read more

We were helped out by Josh who was very friendly and helpful. He picked me up from an RV park and offered to personally drop me off the next day. I wasn't sure if I had reserved the right size car and he recommended a SUV which was perfect for my family. I appreciated Josh's professionalism and great customer experience. read more

Had everything presented I needed to rent a car, they would not rent to me even though I had spoken with another representative and was informed I had everything I needed to get one. Felt like the guy wasn't even willing to work with me , just basically told Me I'm not renting you a car and couldn't give me a valid reason why not, used Turo no problems. read more

Chris, was an amazing representative who assisted me while I was having mechanical issues with my rental. In full disclosure I did not rent from this location (rental was booked in California). My husband & I were in Oregon when our rental began to have mechanical issues and I reached out to this location for assistance. Chris not only provided follow through but he also checked back in with to make sure our issue had been taken care of. I really appreciated his gesture of service and his follow through. read more

Sam D. and Marina H. gave me the best customer service. What a great crew out at this location! Sam picked me up right on time. I forgot my credit card at home, but they were able to get me in and out really quickly. My car was very clean and had a blast driving it. Please use these guys! They are the best in Gresham! read more

Jessica and Sam are a dynamic duo! Last week on father's day, we needed an emergency rental car due to Jiffy Lube (Gresham shop) putting an incorrect oil filter on my daughter's Corolla, but that will be covered in another Yelp review...The Enterprise team of Sam and Jessica were outstanding, professional and customer focused. They were kind and really helped to ease our stress on what should have been a low stress day. Such pleasant people. Thank you! The Gresham Enterprise team at the Powell Street store rocks!! read more

What an amazing experience! I don't think I've ever had such a smooth and positive renting experience. They even called the next day (after pick up) to make sure everything was ok with the car and I was satisfied. They picked me up AND dropped me off as well. The car was perfect (no issues). I was really satisfied with the customer service overall! read more

Devon at the Gresham Enterprise was very helpful and got me in a car and out of there as fast as he could. Great customer service!!

From the time we arrived at the Gresham location, we were shown outstanding customer service by both Emily and Tony. From what was supposed to be a 3 day rental, turned into about a month. they both have worked with us on multiple last minute modifications that should have been handled with more notice (on our part) they were prompt, competent and patient throughout the entire experience. Each extension they gave us was handled in just minutes and we were never treated as an inconvenience. I appreciated this experience completely as it is rare to come by such customer service these days. Hands down, I would recommend this location and will be sharing our experience with others. Thank you guys! My dad and I truly appreciate the help you guys have been. read more

Great people, great service, great price. They were easy to work with and nice clean rental

Alex made our rental awesome. In a busy office she took the extra time to make sure our rental would meet our needs and was super accommodating. She should be in managment! Would use them again and again. Renting a 15 passenger van for a wedding. #TeamAlex read more

I am from California.. My parked car was hit, no fault of my own. I have to say that this Enterprise rent a car office and two of its people made my situation 100 percent easier! I believe it was Michael who picked me up. He was great in making this so much easier. Sara the manager seemed very gracious with another customer who I believed had a similar mishaps and was also a little stressed. Kudos to Enterprise and Sara great Mangement and the employees I had the pleasure of meeting at this office in such a bad situation. I still haven't finished my car repair situation so I could not do a five star yet read more

"Sam" was really good. She even checked the spare tire! She tried to get me to even try Sirius xm and the extra insurance for the car and was really pleasant about it, although I never buy it. She was the very best I have seen in forty years of traveling. Steve read more

The Mngr is bi-polar! Told me if I returned car by 6 p.m., he would Not charge me for another day. He did! 2nd time, he did this in 2 months- 2 rentals. Charged me Again for xtra day. It was hours later than when I checked out vehicle. My advice is check your online bill with a fine tooth comb. Also, I made a reservation on their national line. Thurs.- Sat. My reservation came up online: Fri.-Mon.! Reserved a midsize car. Told local Rockwood office would pick me up at noon. At 12:20, I called to ask where they were. No one showed up not called! I called early and asked if I could pick up rental at 9:00 a.m. I was told:" No. We don't have any cars". Finally got there and was told they only had 2 vehicles. An 8 passenger van( there were only 2 of us), and a Nissan Rogue. SUV. Great vehicle. Good on gas. I got over charged $3 more per day for 5 days rental. Charged for midsized SUV. Crazy. When I called :" Tony" the Mngr about this, he yelled I never said that(yes he did. I had a witness as well). And said to me:" I will refund you this 1 time for the xtra day. But don't Ever come here again and rent from me"! No problem!!! A week later- no refund. I had to call corporate C.S. in Fla.3 times to get this rude Mngr. To finally refund day 5. 4 day rental. Never again. read more

These guys have been wonderful to work with. Their customer service is above and beyond. First visit there, the lady that helped me was so nice and helpful and you could tell by the team atmosphere, that they really cared about what they are doing. Today I witnessed the associate slammed with a rush and most people would show signs of being overwhelmed but he kept everyone in good spirits, joking around and giving each customer the attention they needed. Very impressed with them and the service they provide. Anytime I need to rent a car in the future, I will be visiting them. read more

I had been an AVIS customer for over 6+ years but our Corporation moved to Enterprise. The customer service I will say was fantastic but I was not happy with the selection or equipment. I asked for an SUV but was given a Subaru Forrester. That is not an SUV - it is a station wagon. It sits low to the ground and didn't provide the visibility that my short-frame requires. It was also about $20 more per day than what I would have paid with Avis. It was an expensive rental and I didn't even get the SUV I wanted. I was given a car with just over 1/4 of a tank and was heading to Seattle - this meant more time out of my day to stop and get gas. That was a pain as I am used to getting a full-tank each time I rent a vehicle. The GPS stopped working on the second day and I was in another state. Thank goodness I had my i-Phone. The customer service was great - I called when the GPS stopped working and they refunded that rental off of my bill. That is the only reason they are getting 3-stars. I am not sure if I will try them again based on lack of selection and equipment (I had the only GPS their office had). read more

I've been renting from this outfit for a good number of years, mainly within the Gresham, Or. area. They usually have a car that I don't mind paying for, each time, normally it's easy in, and easy out, for they always have all my pertinent info on their computer system ever since my "first" rental deal ! However, last week, 5-25, this jerk clerk, Andy, found my reservation, then all shit broke loose with this jerk! He started treating me like I was "never" a previous, long time, customer asking me questions that I "never" ever had to answer before, like I just crawled in off the frigging curb!. First, he bitched about my credit card (used every other time) but he didn't like it, also on file! No reason given, so I had to use another piece of plastic. Then, he wanted a current house- hold bill to me from a utility company, all my utilities are "direct pays", I don't get bills! But he was so sideways about wanting it, no other home billing would suffice, his assistant drove me back home, where I dug around through personal paperwork until I found an old bill received before going "paperless"! We returned to the office, handed this jerk my electric bill, and he starts whining about it being to f_g old, only 4 months old and still for the same residence on all my IDs, cards, etc.! I said sorry, that's all I've got, use it or not! All this time, I'm on my best behavior, for I was in need of this last car that they had over the Veterans Day Holiday, that's why I made the reservation several days in advance! So, he continues to screw around on his computer, 5 mins later, he announces that NOW he'll need 3 personal references, which did piss me off, but I was still nice to this jerk, but "if" he would have mentioned that additional issue earlier, I could have found that info for him as well "while" I was home digging through old utility bills! But hell "NO", this jerk waits until we get back to ask to me for references, hell, I don't carry that personal info in my head or even on my cell, who the hell does, for who ever asks for that type of info any longer, especially after all the times I've rented there, and the other Gresham location as well, no one else has ever badgered me for this kind of crap. I truly feel this guy was just busting my balls for personal enjoyment! Must not have been too enjoyable for him though, for I didn't react or say a word, just played the game with him! But that was the last straw and all that I could take, I finally blew up and calmly told this little creep where he could drive that POS Nissan suv, for there was no longer any way to put a rental deal together with that kind of customer service from this little prick, when would enough had actually been enough for him, we more than likely would have continued with even more BS if I wouldn't have put an end to it! (his assistant witnessed this entire ordeal, and he discussed it all with me during both trips back to my residence, stating that he couldn't believe it either !) Bottom line, I've never been treated so rudely in my life, ever ! .......screw him and Enterprise for leaving such a jerk in charge of that particular Gresham location right before a major Holiday ,.......this will never happen again, I gauran- - - -ingty it, .........so long Enterprise, bye, bye..... guess you don't need my business and money any longer, huh? called enterprise to be picked up and the associate was in a hurry and said "well we will be very busy and we will see if we can pick you up" That didn't work for me. I called back in the morning and I was scheduled to be picked up at 9 and they showed up. The girls in the office were great, Upon returning the vehicle there was a girl in the office said nothing I had to say good morning and luckily there was another girl their not from that office and she offered to help. The girl threw the pad on the desk and said to help me, I was not happy with this girl she had her hair spiked in the middle and a dress jacket on and from this experience I will rent from Avis, or another company here in Gresham. Not once was there eye contact made with me, no thank you for using enterprise. I wish I could say more, but I am fuming and this is two days after I returned both my rentals in one day. read more

This Enterprise location is absolutely amazing! My husband and I made a reservation for a rental to be picked up on Sunday morning and dropped off at another location near Seattle, WA. We had been shopping for cars for days and finally found what we were looking for near Seattle. We arrived at the Powell location, filled out all of the paperwork and all of that fun stuff and then were getting ready to leave and we get a call saying that our financing had fallen through. Two hours later, we were still in the parking lot, talking to other lenders when we decided we would just leave in our car to get something to eat and come back later to get a car if we wanted one. They graciously took the paperwork and shredded it up with no cost to me. Even though they spent 20 minutes getting me set up - and had given me a free upgrade! They were personable, kind and understanding and both were great with each customer they had while I was there. HIGHLY recommend this location! Thanks to Mike and I can't, for the life of me, remember the woman's name, but she was stellar as well! Thank you! read more

Competitive rates, excellent customer service, and attention to detail are standard fare at the Powell St. store in Gresham. I've used them several times over the years for personal rentals and the experience is fairly consistent. This trip I made my reservation on-line several days in advance for a 10 a.m. pickup. I showed up early and learned that thy did not have a car on the lot for me. It had to be retrieved from another location some 4 miles away. I expected a car at 10 but was not in a hurry. By 10:15 I had my car and was on my way. With several days notice I expected a car to be ready. Perhaps its the lack of parking space on this lot that prevents them from holding cars in reserve. Overall, good job!. I'll be back. read more

I was charged $500 for a right front fender misalign. Did not even notice it until I turned the car in after a one week rental. Both the agent and I agreed it had probably come loose while driving over rough streets in the Portland area. The fender is held in place by plastic clips. I do not understand why I was held responsible for something that was not my fault, but the fault of a cheaply, poorly made car - a Hyundai Accent. read more

Very disappointed.i have used enterprise several times in the past but this was the last.the only redeeming part of the experience was the last employee I dealt with while returning the vehicle.he attempted to salvage the poor experience any way he could.i thanked him for his sincerity but again,no more. I ended up going to 3 different locations just to get the specific vehicle I requested. I was asked to drive one vehicle to another location to "swap" for what I wanted. I then receive a vehicle so dirty I had to go to a car wash before I felt comfortable driving it, bird droppings and all.that was 4.5 hours of my SundayI will not get back. There are too many rental companies in the area to subject myself to this ever again. read more
