Lia and Hong both are amazing. The manager always remembers me when I call and she asks my name. The entire staff is outstanding - if something isn't right, they'll fix it (if you handle the issue with respect). The salon is no longer near my home, but I still go there because they are wonderful and never disappoint, and they always seem happy to see me. Whether I see Lia or Hong, they always remember what's going on in my life, which forever blows my mind, given how many people they probably see everyday. Updated review from four stars Horrible experience when Kayla didn't do my manicure! Holly did it, and royally screwed it up. She up and left half way through, asking another very sweet gal, Shirley, to take over. Shirley kept apologizing over and over...even calling Holly to see the damage she had done (she never came over to see it...probably too embarrassed). It was so bad, that I had acrylic under my nails that Shirley had to use the little dremmel tool to get out. My nails and cuticles were bleeding and hurt for two weeks. I won't be going back. Oh, it cost me $71 plus a tip too! Aargh. On the hunt for a new salon. read more

This nail salon always makes me feel right at home. Everyone is so friendly, and Nelly does an exceptional job. So much so that I have followed her over 8 years to wherever she goes! Currently I live in North Carolina and fly in regularly just to get my nails done by her. I will not go to anyone else!!! This shop is always clean, stocked with supplies like soap and paper towel for its customers, and there is always a cold beverage offered by the staff to the customers. My nail tech made a few small simple mistakes on my acrylics(one nail too long, one was crooked), easily fixable and no big deal normally. Except when i would bring it up with her, she found a way to blame me for the problem (with the nail that was too short- 'no you're just looking at it wrong' with the nail that was crooked- 'that's just how your natural nail grows so that's how the acrylic looks' ???). One of my thumb nails was shorter than all the rest so I asked her to take it off and redo just that one nail, she said no and instead filed my other thumb nail down just as short so now both of my thumbs are shorter than all the rest. She also did not put the acrylic all the way down to the bottom of my nail so they already look a little grown out even though i just walked out of the salon. My niece got a pedicure and polish on her toes, the polish was chunky on her nail and didn't look smooth, there was polish on her cuticles and skin. There were small white spots on the tops of her nails because they didn't paint it all the way to the edge. They didn't put her nails under the dryer or give her the disposable flip flops to use, the lady told my niece her nails were dry so she (being 11 years old) just believed her and put her shoes back on which of course completely smudged them. The biggest issue i had was that my nail tech DID NOT SANITIZE the tools she used on me after she was done with them. She just put them back in the jar on her desk with all her other tools that she then used on the next customer. I have never written a bad review in my life and i hate doing this, but this is a safety issue. They did repaint my nieces nails when i went back in, but even then they blamed my niece for messing them up even though she's a child and the nail tech told her she could put her shoes back on! read more

I was not very happy with my manicure today. It's hard for me to justify paying for something when I know I could do a better job of it on my own. At first, I asked for dark green nails with a gold accent DESIGN on one nail. Perhaps I was not very clear in that request, but the girl painting my nails tried to give me dark green with gold tips. The gold tips weren't even and weren't clean at all, so then I asked her to just do dark green nails with a gold accent nail. The end result was nails that were not shaped well, evenly coated, or smooth, and that had residue of different colored nail polish still visible (along with cotton ball fuzz and blood ). It's stinks, because I know of girls who go to this salon frequently and always have great looking nails. Perhaps I just bad-lucked out... but I was not very satisfied with my end result. read more

Just had my nails done by Lia and she did an absolutely fantastic job! Did a full set with dip powder in Ombré and they look even better than I imagined! She was completely upfront about pricing which was great and we discussed what I wanted and she gave me her insight about what would work better and she was spot-on! Worst pedicure I've ever had! STAY AWAY! The woman that was doing my pedicure cut all my toenails using cuticle nippers(?) and ended up cutting one nail so short it started gushing blood. She said she cut my skin, that it was her fault she want paying attention. Nothing looked sanitized so I'm hoping I don't get an infection. That made my entire pedicure painful until I finally asked if she could put nail glue or something over the cut. I didn't get the massage part of my pedicure for some reason either. The paint job is awful. The person I was with asked to have her nails cut with regular nail clippers instead of the cuticle nippers, so she didn't get an ingrown toenail- they still used the cuticle nippers and she ended up getting an ingrown toenail- and the woman doing hers laughed about it??? I felt like I was in a beauty school getting my nails done. The worst part is I had to PAY FULL PRICE even though the top of my toe was hacked off. I'm sitting at home with my toe throbbing wishing I just did my pedicure myself. read more

I haven't had very many, but this is one of the best pedicures I've had. I had Lilly who was very gentile. Almost every other pedicure I've had has had some sort of bloodshed (and therefore, pain) associated with it. Lilly was careful and precise. There were times I had no idea she was touching my feet until I looked (which was surprising when she was cutting cuticles). I loved that the pedicure came with a nice scrub, a small massage as well as a hot towel wrap. It was definitely what I was looking for in a pedicure. The place is a little "well-loved", but I would still say it was fairly cleanly. It's definitely somewhere I could see myself going back to on a semi-regular basis. We went on a Sunday and it was decently busy, but we were able to call about an hour ahead and still be scheduled. I got a pedicure for $30 and my friend's french manicure was $18 (which she's really happy with). read more

So this place is like crazy far from anywhere that I would normally go. But despite the fact that it's a hike to get there, the quality of service is pretty darn solid. From the outside it seems like just a little shop, but on the inside it's a huge space with lots of room for multiple customers. I went in with a friend and I wanted to try out the pedicure service. I was not disappointed. My footsies came out looking clean and ready to tackle the world. There are a ton of pedicure stations lining the entire place. Also, there are about 20 manicure stations so they can handle a lot of people at the same time. Overall the experience was quite pleasant. The employees were very polite and attentive. I never felt out of place (being the only male customer) or uncomfortable. Sometimes these places can be very bright, too loud, overcrowded, and smelling of chemicals. This location, however, was none of these. Prices seemed pretty reasonable for the services offered. I had me a good time. Should you find yourself in this location and in need of a little nail time, this would be a good place to stop in. read more

I LOVE getting pedicures and now vow to get one at least once a month if possible. My BFF and I are always trying to find that perfect place and this might be it. The decor is really just mediocre, nothing fancy, but it's really clean and everyone is extremely nice. The price is a little more then some places, but $30 isn't a bad price to kick back and relax while getting pretty feet for an hour. She's so gentle, friendly, and most of all - she really takes her time to make sure you are taken care of. Mai does a great job fixing up my eyebrows (they were completely blotched from another salon). She knew exactly what to do and I came out actually looking normal again. This was my first time visiting this salon. I had heard good reviews from my friends and decided to try it out. When getting there, the nail technicians who were doing both mine and my friend's pedicures were extremely unfriendly and rude. They seemed as though they were in a rush and irritated before we had even gotten there. They rolled their eyes and huffed when told we only wanted pedicures. When my friend was asked if she wanted shellac, she politely declined, and they were very frustrated with her. Once the pedicure was done, my toe nails looked terrible. They were supposed to be white, but the top coat that was applied had a pink hue. There was white nail polish on my skin around the nails. I needed a shellac mani + pedi + eyebrow wax so I scheduled an appointment. I mean I needed a lot to get me back to pretty... I walk in and was greeted nicely right away. Ann kindly pulled me to the back where she waxed my eyebrows and did a great job. Right after my pedi was waiting for me (also done by Ann) and here is the kicker my pedi and mani were done both at the same time. Now who does not LOVE that. For the simple fact that you get out faster too. Great job to the girls at Vogue Nails and I will definetly be seeing you again... with an appointment of course :) read more

I got a mani and pedi today at this location and I loved it!! They were so nice! When I came in with my sister I told them that we both wanted manicures and pedicures. At first they were hesitant about the manicures since they had a big appointment for a large group that was coming in soon. So I said its fine to just go with the pedicure, since that's what I mostly wanted. But once my sister and I got started with our pedicures two people came over saying they'd do our manicures at the same time. And i just have to say I absolutely loved the guy who did my manicure! First time getting my nails done here, and only came to this salon because I was given a free pedicure coupon from a work colleague. Was able to make an appointment & nail tech was friendly, but the salon was disgusting. Pedicure chair was covered in polish and arm rest was sticky. Trash and food/dirt all over the floor. Simply looks like they do not clean. Nail tech brought cart over with supplies from the back and it was covered with used cotton balls and trash. She wiped off tools with water from where my feet were soaking. Barely trimmed cuticles and didn't trim every toe. I had one little spot of nail poking into my skin on my big toe, which nail tech was aware of, and chose to leave it alone and not fix it. Final product polish is very see through and not opaque. Will not be returning. read more

Very disappointed in my service my my nail tech. In her customer service and simple ability to paint nails. I'm blown away at how bad she was. I just wanted a toe polish change, file, and cuticles trimmed. I am from out of town with family for a family wedding and already had gotten my finger nails done. I didn't want a full pedicure because I had just gotten a spray tan and didn't want discolored feet. The woman had such a bad attitude because I just wanted something simple from what I just explained. She barely filed them and stated slabbing on the polish. It looked like something I could do on my own....In the dark... drunk... My big toes had air bubbles because she was going so fast. She walked away and my feet looked like a children's art project and then started to take out the garbages. The manager stopped by to see how we were and I had to point out the shit show that was on my feet. She barley fixed them. I get a closer look and there is still polish all over my skin. Some on my nails aren't even fully polished. I came there to have a fun girls night with my mom and sister and get that shaft. I do NOT recommend this place to anyone. The floors are gross and I'm concerned the chair I was on does not get sanitized per person. Now I just want to shower and do my own nails before the wedding in 2 days.
