I had heard amazing stuff about this place so I decided to give it a try. I called for a walk-in and they did say come on in. When I got there I went to go get dip powder on my nails. As the lady was removing my old acrylics instead of soaking them off as They usually do to remove them, she started taking them off in a very harsh way. It was hurting my natural nails so much one of my nails started bleeding and my natural nails were all short again when I worked so hard to grow my natural nails to get dip powder. I was quite upset but didn't say anything more so because they hurt from her trying to remove the acrylics . So my dip powder experience sucked becuase my nails were a lot short than I wanted and my nails were so damaged. I was unsatisfied and not only that when she got done she said "it's a 5 dollar tip too " besides my pay which was $48!!!! Not happy. read more

So disappointed with the quality of the nails. I went to this place twice. The first time I had a full set done by a woman and they turned out good (reason for two stars). I went back for my fill and three nails broke within a week. I called to try and have an appointment made to have them fixed and they couldn't get me in. I went to Polish'd Nail Bar and they were able to just pop off the remaining nails and you could see the damage to my nails from the excessive filing Vogue Nails did. I ended up getting a gel manicure and my nails will need time to grow out to be normal again. read more

I enjoyed Vogue and was a fairly regular customer. I went in for a new set of acrylic nails and was happy with them. The technician gave me the billing slip and I noticed an extra $10 added to it. When I asked, he said since I requested extra long nails, there was an additional $10. I had not requested long nails and, in fact, had asked him to shorten those he'd given me. I took my concern to the owner and showed him my nails and asked him if they were too long. He said no, they were a normal length. I told him the tech wanted an extra $10 and, unbelievably, he shrugged and said "well, if that's what he billed you, that's what you need to pay ....". I was so disgusted, so angry and flat out shocked that I paid the bill - no tip - and left. I've never been back and I never will go back. I was also there once when a very drunk patron got her nails done. She tried to give them a $150 tip, and the owner was going to take it until I called him on it. No integrity. No honesty. Went in for a full set and it was beautiful. However, after about 2 weeks I started seeing green under my nails. I got a fungus from this place. This was gross. I got it on both hands and I'm currently trying to get rid of it. They told me it was an allergic reaction, but allergic reactions happen a lot sooner than two weeks. Absolutely awful service. I waited 40 minutes and they skipped over me. When I got my pedicure I think it lasted 10 minutes. The polish was smudged, the nails weren't clipped well, and polish was all over my toes. It looked really bad and was extremely expensive. It was a wast of time and money. read more

I went in last night and got there about 625. They close at 7. I got seen about 10-15 minutes later by Lucy. She was so sweet. I bought my 2 and a half year daughter and Lucy was so patient and attentive to her. I got a mani/pedi. Lucy didn't rush us and she gave my daughter multiple chances to get her nails painted even though it was 730. My daughter finally did it and loved it. She actually messed up a toe while waiting to dry and Lucy fixed it. I believe Mike was up front and he is very personable and went around talking to everyone. You feel very welcomed there. Let me start off by saying I used to love coming here. I slowly noticed how horrible the staff/service is. I made many mistakes of coming back here. Let me share.... first of all, the second owner aside from Mike is just awful. Very rude. One time he told me to go sit down at a station to begin my service, then GRABS my arm and pulls me back to let me know that someone else will be going first and to have a seat back waiting. You do not put your hands on women. Second, they cut my big toenail in half TWO different times... and then glued it? Kind of weird. Kinda gross. Finally... the done of all DONE. I really liked how Lucy had previously done my dip mani and pedi, so I booked with her specifically for the same service. I get there at my appointment and the other owner (previously mentioned) stated she's not here and he'd try to get me in... why did you make me an appointment if she wasn't there? Anyways... she gets done with my toes and then hand me the bill. I let her know I was here for a mani as well and she gets weird and points me to the station. She begins filing away my old dip powder and goes to put the new dip color on. I ask her "are you going to remove all the previous dip?".. Her response "oh do you want me to?".. um duh! That's gross. Then as she gets more frustrated just goes and clips my long healthy natural nails down to the brim. I got upset and she stated "oh I thought you wanted the tips put on". How about asking next time?? She then follows up with "oh well how long did it take to grow your nails - 3 weeks? They'll come back" ohhhhh girl but I won't! This place is a mess. Beware. read more

This place is cheap, but busy so the technicians seem to rush your nail job, and faster doesn't mean better. They didn't even check to make sure they all matched, which they didn't. I broke 2 the next day but I didn't want to go get them fixed there. They charge extra for matte as well. read more

They did a good job on my French gel manicure. The owner was very nice and welcoming. It was a Saturday and I still got in very quickly. The only problem is The lady who did my nails was not friendly at all. She asked me what color I wanted then didn't talk to me the rest of the time I was there. She talked to another employee and on her phone for the length of the manicure. She did ask me if I liked my nails, but that was the only thing she said besides asking me what color I wanted. I don't think I would go back there because I felt uncomfortable. I don't expect long conversations, but a little chit chat would be nice. This is the best nails and spa I have ever been to. So you have to come here very clean, very nice customer service,and very nice job they do. I went there like at 6:30 and they close at 7:00 and they stayed like an hour more and did a very nice job. I went to a different salon and they closed at 7 also and I can like at 6:25 and they rush and there was finger prints on my nails. But here is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo amazing like you have to come here. And I got my nail done and they stayed on for like 2 mounts and they were regular. Great nail, pedicure, and waxing salon. I have been going to Kevin for over a year now for my gel fills and he is the best with great attention to detail, but also very fast. The girls are really good at nail art as well. I can always get in for a pedicure without much of a wait. The waxing room is nice and very clean. Shocked that there are negative reviews about this place. This is the only place in the valley I'll go. I've been coming here every month for two years. I've used a lot of other nail salons in the valley but got so frustrated bc my fills would start lifting before it had even been two weeks. My nails here last a month without lifting. If I have a nail break or color chip they get me in right away. I've never had problems with colors or designs. Staff is polite and accommodating. This is a place where they remember your name and preferences. Prices may be a little higher but it's bc the quality is higher. Don't let the other reviews scare you off. I've been to this nail salon a few times. I want to like this salon because the service itself has been decent. However I think I'm done and moving on to another nail place. I've gone a few times as a walk in and a few with an appointment, I've always been attended to promptly. I usually get something very basic, flat color maybe with an accent color in one finger. I've done gel and dip acrylic and I've had pretty good results with long lasting polish. The dip acrylic was the best. I've had one maybe two manicurists that were very pleasant and even chatty. For the most part I can't have too many complaints about the manicurists manners, except the last time that I got my nails done staff just seemed to be a bit rude. I had multiple people come up to see what I was getting done and commenting how I was even getting a design. I wouldn't think much of it had they not then decided to have conversations in their language. I'm almost positive that they were talking about me. Aside from their behavior, the owner was polite, but I felt somewhat misled. I showed the owner a picture of what I wanted and asked specifically if someone could do my nails in that particular fashion. I was told yes. Had I known I would have just gotten a pedicure because it was important that I get the design that I was asking for. It was not complicated. One nail was going to have three black lines with a very simple flower and a jewel in the middle. The lines were sloppy and my manicurist had a difficult one drawing just the lines. She told my the way I wanted my flower would not look nice but I suspect she just don't want to bother. At the start before she even touched my nails I asked if I could get a small L on one of the nails because this nail trip was actually to honor a friend who had passed away very recently. I was told no. I asked if I could have someone else do my nails that could do the design and I was told no one here does that. It's funny because I looked a their Facebook and yelp and that's exactly what I saw. I don't plan on returning anymore. This was it for me. If I'm going to pay for this service, I'd rather pay a bit more to get what I ask for and not what they decide looks better only to get something that is of lesser quality. read more

I have to say this evening was TERRIBLE! I left in tears, I've never been so embarrassed. I have been going to Vogue Nail and seeing Van for nearly 4yrs & today was my last day ever stepping foot in there. I go every other week for a fill, pay ahead & set my appointments up ahead of time. Today my apt was @5pm, Van txted me @4:52 saying she was running very late, 5:30. They don't normally call or txt me for that matter letting me know she's running late. I usually find out once I'm already there & waiting 15-45mins. However, I like getting my nails done & I liked (past tense) going to her so I just waited. When she txted me 8mins b4 my apt, I had just pulled up & walked in. I then patiently waited for OVER AN HOUR!!!!! When I finally sat down, I simply told Van that was a really long time to wait.. what happened? She FLIPPED! She told me she can only do what she can do & that she txted me! I WAS IN SHOCK... I calmly told her, Van, u txted me 8mins b4 my apt. I was already here & walking in. She said that's ur fault then, u were early! If u don't appreciate me then go c someone else! I took that very personal considering I did! My mom, sister, niece & I all went to her, tipped her very well and treated her like a friend. We went out of our way to get her bday presents, Starbucks gift cards when she was having a bad day, xmas gifts, u name it... We were so kind to her. I've never seen someone lose their shit like she did on me in front of a full room of people. She was so loud & would not calm down. I tried to quietly tell her I was not trying to make a scene & that I understand she gets busy but that it sucked having to wait for so long, end of story, no big deal.. & was trying to let it go. She proceeded to yell at me, would not calm down & told Michael to refund me my $ & that this would b the last time she will b doing my nails. I was in such shock & so embarrassed from all the yelling & everyone staring at me, I stayed quiet for awhile! It was so tense & uncomfortable. When I came back from washing my hands to get polish, I quietly told her, Van it wasn't about the $ & I don't want u to b so upset. She cut me off & told me that I needed to listen carefully & hear what she was saying bcuz she understands English just fine... Still in shock, I sat there quietly & let her chew me out as tears rolled down my face. I felt stuck, half my nails were painted with 1 coat of polish & everyone looking at me. The English speaking comment was completely unnecessary! I NEVER ONCE INSULTED HER OR DISRESPECTED HER! That was totally uncalled for. The owner's wife sitting NEXT to her didn't say a word. The owner himself, ALSO SITTING nxt to her got out of his chair & said it's ok, calm down (to Van). She didn't listen, she continued to lay into me. I just wanted out of there. I still cannot believe what happened. I'm a very patient, kind & loyal person. No ONE deserves to b treated like that. With all of that said, I strongly advise against going to Vogue Nails & getting ur nails done by Van or supporting this company. I apologize for the lengthy review but I felt bullied & felt I needed to share. I was in such shock & said very little to defend myself, that after speaking with family, felt this review was necessary. I'm disappointed I didn't stand up for myself & walk out sooner. No one should ever b treated like that by someone. NOT TO MENTION MY MOM & I NEVER SEE THEM CLEAN THEIR TOOLS BETWEEN CUSTOMERS. I've always thought Van was a clean person so I didn't fuss about it but u all should kno, its gross there. I took my bridesmaids there before rehearsal dinner for our wedding 2yrs ago & my best friend got a fungal infection in her toe after getting a pedicure. They all said they were not impressed with the service or the place. Oh! AND even though I booked the apt a month out, called to confirm the 6 of us, they were 30mins late & didn't seat us next to each other. Not a great way to start the evening.
