When I complained to the owner, I was credited 10% with an apology. My requested nail tech (Linh) got an attitude and never apologized. I hoped the attitude would be better on December 23rd. It wasn't better, the environment was unfriendly too. There were no greetings or Christmas/Happy Holidays expressed. I have been a loyal customer for five plus years. I have even recommended family members here also. My regular nail tech (Tiffani) moved last year and it hasn't been the same. I have decided to move on to another salon that appreciates me.

It's a cute salon with zero nail product odor and you're typically not crammed right next to each other. I used to get the hot stone pedicure (they don't do anymore) and always a deluxe pedicure because I like a good calf/foot massage. It is in the menu. After my last appt. I won't be returning. My cuticles were not trimmed well, but most disappointing and infuriating was the deluxe, zero foot/calf massage, pedi for $70! The gentlemen (very friendly)who started on my feet was moved to another customer midway so, another nail tech finished up what he started. Very disappointing. I'm not the kind to make a scene. I just won't return. That was my last time. The previous pedicure I had started chipping off the next day (maybe old polish due to the thickness). It does seem like the service here has gone down from when I started coming here over 10 yrs ago. And now $70 pedicure with zero massage is a bit ridiculous. It's not as if service has experienced an uptick in costs. It hasn't. As a retired cosmetologist, I know the steps of a pedicure, how to service and give great results for repeat business. This has obviously changed nowadays. It's all a money grab. This review is months late in posting as I wanted to try it one last time for good measure before deciding to move on. I'm moving on.

I also really love how efficient their process is. They remove my polish, have me soak my fingers while they work on my pedicure, and then finish up with the manicure. It makes the whole appointment flow really smoothly without feeling like I'm sitting around waiting. Just a heads up: they only accept cash for tipping. However, some of the nail techs have a QR code for Venmo/Cash App, so I was able to use that instead. There's also an ATM in the salon if you prefer to get cash. The salon also seemed cleaner this time, which I appreciated. I think I'm going to start trying to come when they're less busy. I called about 45 min before coming in, and was quickly shuffled back to the same girl who did my nails the first time. I don't have any issues with her, but I did ask to be seen by someone else- this was ignored (or maybe they didn't hear me). I did down at the stable and the original girl feverishly starts filing my nails down. Now they are paper thin, which is what I didn't want. She returned back to other client and continued to work. As I sat there for a good 45-60 min, I watched other girls come in and were seated nearly right away. During my wait, my niece had a full set put on. I went to the gal who did her nails, the same gal with whom I had spoken on the phone with earlier, and she told me my only option was to get in line with my original nail tech. I asked for a refund, and was told no. She eventually gave in and did some filing and painted them clear (I will say for whatever reason she started to paint my blue nails white?‍) The following day, I chipped my paper thin thumb nail on a door, despite being told that the "thinness didn't make them more brittle".
