It was really cool to see that. They do have a like a monthly plan that you can choose from having a facial to having your eyebrows tinted and laminated to also having a lash lift. I'm pretty interested in that haven't gone through with it yet because been having some health issues but I'm hoping that in a few months I can start being a regular here.

The feeling here is such high class and really feels like a nice & serene spa. I love shopping in the front/reception area (their cards are hilarious!) and waiting in the waiting room is so luxurious. The chairs are so cozy and the beautiful decor is always fun! I've seen a couple waxers who no longer work here (due to moving or raising a baby- hope you two girls are doing great, if you ever see this!), and I now see Starla. She's so efficient & does a beautiful Brazilian to the forestry that I grow. She has such great conversation and I thoroughly enjoy seeing her every so often! I also get my upper legs waxed every so often, and she does a great job on those, too! A total comfort to be on her waxing table (I mean, the wax sometimes hurts, since I'm not consistent, but I never shave, so you know that helps). If you're looking for a place to feel comfortable & handle the fuzz/forest, look no further than this fine woman-owned & operated small/local business.

They'll take care of your parking which make it hassle free once you get here. I always get the same great consistent results! The great thing about Skin is that they also contribute to "The March of Dimes" charity, which I think is a very noble cause. Skin also offers the Obagi product line and their lip balm is the best I've had (yes, I love Burts bees but I grab the chapstick from Skin off my dresser any day), they don't push the products but do make recommendations. They're patient, understanding and very professional. They also have Military discount which is cool. You can feel that this business is also family oriented. Knowing that my skin is in good hands, I leave this place feeling more confident. I used to come here years ago but my job takes me all over the place, the Navy has a saying, haze gray and under way. What I miss about Skin though, is Brittney and my last Aesthetician Julie (Thank you for having such high energy), sad that they've moved on but happy that I got to meet Jasmine and Crystal. Highly recommended, I will definitely be back after my tour in Japan if I get stationed out here again (Red Heart Shape). Writing this makes me realize what intimacy really is about, Intimacy isn't always about being erotic or sexual in nature but more like a close and caring nurture and that's what I got from Skin in a major way. The care I get here is the feeling of being nurtured and I think everyone needs a little bit of that now a days.

I met with a nurse who evaluated my problems and educated me on what I should get treated. She put together notes to make my in office visit quick and easy. I really like how professional they are as medical professionals and not as most cosmetic professionals who don't consider health factors and putting together a health & physical. On the day of my in-person appointment, upon arrival they took me into one of the nurses office to continue my consultation and take pictures of my problem areas. All information was added on to my record. They had also scheduled me for a chemical peel. The lady who did my chemical peel was so sweet and informative. She was so patient with me. In fact, all the staff members were just so helpful and sweet. Every time I call for scheduling or questions they are just so kind. Their customer service is out of this world. I also love that they have memberships, monthly specials and new member discounts. Just so many ways to save money while obtaining skin care services. I show up at my appointment time to be told I need to schedule a meeting with a doctor and complete all the paperwork. The link took me to the doctor's page and the earliest appointment with a doctor wasn't until 4:15. Which would ultimately cut into my appointment time. Valerie kept offering to reschedule me since I had to complete the paperwork and I told her I made arrangements to not have my child this weekend so I could get this done. Why was the paperwork not sent before the appointment in addition to the link to get on some random doctor's calendar? I could have had the paperwork done and ready to meet with the doctor at that time so she could hear him. I stopped all my beauty stuff for this appointment and saved up for it. I don't care if this was a miscommunication between the front desk and the nurse. Valerie's attitude and rudeness was beyond off putting. The lack of consideration for everything I put in place as a single parent was especially disturbing. I opted to not have the procedure because of her attitude. For $500 I would never let her near my face with a laser. She is not who I had a consult with, this lady should not work with people.

I'll post an update after I complete my treatment regimen, but I'm so thoroughly blown-away already…read morethat I felt it only fair to share my experience. A friend of mine guided me to Skin Renaissance after she had to deal with my barrage of skin complaints. I'm not getting any younger and being a mom now leaves little time for self care, which is required now more than it used to be. My sweet friend kindly gifted me some credit to use and I stopped in last week. I had initially been considering botox, but thought it best to get an expert's opinion. I made an appointment with their NP, Suzanne. I arrived a little early to check in and complete forms. After completing paperwork, I was invited to get a beverage or snack while I waited. They offer hand sanitizer in many locations and everyone wore a mask through my entire visit. They took me back right at my appointment time - also appreciated. My first stop was the Visia skin analysis room where Suzanne and I chatted about my concerns and skin history - I spent most of my teen years in a tanning bed and have a lengthy history of melanoma and BCC, some of which have been removed from my face. The Visia was insightful and allowed Suzanne to make recommendations based on underlying damage and redness (thanks, genetics!). I learned that botox was the last thing I needed, go figure! She offered some really good recommendations, starting with a compound topical which is already providing results in under a week! She also consulted with Julie, the owner, who made the same recommendations. All together, they spent nearly an hour evaluating and chatting with me - it didn't cost me a dime - but it certainly put me at ease to seek future care with them. I am due to return for a follow up and continue treatment and am super happy to go back. I'm already grateful to Suzanne for helping me to feel better about my skin in such a short period of time.
