Hands down the BEST nail salon experience I've ever had! I don't usually write reviews, but this place deserves every bit of praise. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly and made to feel genuinely welcome. The salon is spotless, beautifully organized, and has such a relaxing vibe -- you can immediately tell they care about quality and cleanliness. My nail tech (Vee) was incredibly skilled, patient, and detail-oriented. She actually listened to what I wanted, offered helpful suggestions, and absolutely nailed the look. The shaping was perfect, the cuticle work was clean, and the polish application was flawless -- no rushing, no shortcuts. What really sets this salon apart is the attention to detail and customer care. I never felt like "just another appointment." They checked in to make sure I was comfortable and satisfied every step of the way and they are family owned so the salon is very cozy and comfortable! read more

They suggested a dip for my nails. Never heard of it. Exactly what I needed to save them.

Always an enjoyable experience coming to Ava Nail Spa to be pampered with great customer service. Starts with you being greeted by Samantha, the owner. She accommodates your schedule whether you walk in or have an appointment. Believe me, she'll remember you and your name after your first visit. The salon has ample massage chairs. They put plastic to wrap the foot basin , think sanitary! They have oh so many different selections of acrylic to basic nail polish to powder. They outfitted their salon with barriers at each station where you have your manicure done. They accommodate your needs from in-grown nail care, to even advise you not to paint your nails if there are signs of fungal toe nails. Okay, not me... someone I took to their salon for mani pedi, for the record! They do not try to upswell, prices are within range of other salons. They even have a frequent visit card where you get $5 after so many services or visits. Highly recommended if you want a true self-care day! read more

My first time at AVA Nail Spa was amazing! I usually get nervous going to new nail places because I've been cut/burned during nail services plenty of times. But this place was awesome. Liz did an amazing job on my pedicure and gave the best massage. Vee does THE BEST nails. Anything you want, she can do. Not only was the service great, but it was a small/quaint atmosphere and everyone was so welcoming. Everyone that came through the door was treated like family from the moment they entered, which was extremely unique to me. Can't recommend enough!! read more

SCAM! i paid $60 for a fill in ... A FILL-IN! completely insane. Prices aren't posted anywhere and they add charges without your knowledge. my nails also don't look $60 worth. read more

Samantha (the owner) is kind, talented, and friendly. She remembers customers and has set a calm atmosphere. The other employees are also professional and courteous. They're also fast, but without sacrificing quality. The salon offers spacious room for manicures and pedicures, with a wide variety of colors and styles (gel, dip, etc) to choose from. I like how everything is organized, it doesn't feel chaotic like other salons sometimes do. I've noticed that some of the older reviews have lower stars and I was concerned. I asked the owner when she got the place, and she said it's been almost two years now, so I assume that the previous management wasn't as professional as the current crew. I usually like to try different salons, but I think I have found one I will be returning to regularly. read more

This salon has been under new management since 2019. I have followed Sam, the owner, since 2010. She is extremely thorough and ensures that the customer is happy. I've followed her through the years because I can go 5 weeks or more without my acrylic nails lifting. She only uses the best products and ensures her team treats their customers the same. read more

The first time I came here I gave it a great review, however, there's a few things that they did in the beginning that they are not doing now: - They do NOT give you a free eyebrow waxing if you check-in on Yelp. She insists that she does not know how to take it down, even though it somehow was put up and she knows how to respond to customers via Yelp. It's simply a way to get you to come to the salon. - I told one of the techs that I wanted my acrylic taken off and to have a manicure done one my real nails. Instead of properly soaking the acrylic, they used a tool to POP OFF the nails which not only ripped one of my nails completely off but in turn peeled off multiple layers of my own nails. - The first time I came here and showed Silina my Yelp check-in, she was more than happy to treat me like a valued customer but once I wrote a good review for the salon, the good service completely went away in all future visits. I am very disappointed in this salon. The level of skill here is below par at best. read more

I went to this place because a friend recommended it, big mistake! I have naturally long nails and just wanted to add acrylic to them to make them stronger. She made my nails look like a bad fill-in job. They were thick and boxy. I told her I didn't like them and she started talking about me in Vietnamese and laughing. She was rough and rude and acted like she was paying me to get my nails done then messed up my eyebrows. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE! read more

I cannot believe how accommodating this business is. I went in to get my acrylic nails fixed after going to another, disastrous place. The manager personally made an appointment with me to fix everything wrong. She reshaped, repainted, and also hand-designed two accent nails. I definitely will be returning and recommending all of my girlfriends. read more

Please understand that I don't write bad reviews often. They are NOT walk-in friendly and cater to an older crowd. They don't have any techs that can pull off new styles. I hope they improve! read more

Okay, so I gave this place a fair shot and they failed. The first time I came here, they were awesome --maybe not from a craftsmanship aspect but their service more than made up for it in my mind. However, the more recent visits that I have made to AVA have completely changed my opinion. First, they had a "free eyebrow with Yelp check-in" that on my first visit they swore to honor each time I came in for a service. This was not true. The next time I went, she acted like she hadn't a clue of our prior conversation. Whatever, it was annoying but not a total dealbreaker. The dealbreaker was that every time I go there, they value me less and less as a costumer. The quality at this nail salon and the craftsmanship are not up to par with the competition and, what they once used to be able to cover up with great service, has now turned sour. Unfortunately their service was the only reason I repeated business --sadly, there's nothing anymore for me to find desirable here .... Just go to Angel Nails, seriously. read more

I happened to remember this nail salon after another nail salon I had an appointment with, gave my spot to a walk in, while I was trying to find parking in there overcrowded lot. The owner, at Ava Nail Spa, Samantha was so friendly and warm. We chatted the entire time and I told her I would absolutely be back. She is an owner that values the customer and their business. A quiet lovely environment. read more

If I was asked within the first hour of my visit to rate this establishment I would have happily given this place a 5 star rating. Matter of fact I asked for an information brochure so I could plan my bridal parties spa day here. My attendant was WONDERFUL! The tropical spa pedicure and leg massage was heavenly!! 5 STARS!!! The polish I chose was old or watered down. After spending 30 minutes under the dryers I was told that my fingers and toes were dry. I left only to notice that my fingernails were already smudged before I got to the end of the street. I assumed that due to the massive downpour of rain on that day that the weather was to blame. I went back and got the nails fixed before having to rush home to get my daughter from the bus. The next day I went back in to show them that my fingers and toes were smudged and requested to perhaps try a different polish. The incredibly rude lady at the front table told me that I must have done something to make it happen and that they would only fix the worst ones. They would not let me choose a different polish so the results were the exact same. I had to go to a SECOND nail salon across town to get the job done correctly. :( I will NEVER go back to this place. Not because of the crappy polish. I would happily bring in my own polish if that was the issue. It's the way I was treated. Like anyone really wants to pay $60+ to be treated like street trash after they were the person who was wronged. Horrible business model. I would give less than one star if that was an option, but I am going with 2 stars as it wasn't the nice attendants fault that the lady wouldn't let her do the job correctly. She kept apologizing for it while she was redoing the mess up. :( read more

STAY AWAY PLEASE....staff is friendly . But the products are cheap and craftsmanship is terrible. I've been getting my nails done with gel for YEARS!!! They normally last two-three weeks. I got a gel mani and regular polish on Saturday here. Sunday evening Most of the polish on my toes were gone. The gel on my hand started to separate and space apart. Now it's chipping off on some parts . Never had this happened. THEN I was told it was $45 dollars fine I paid and left . Today on my statement I was charged $ 69 my 10 tip turned into more. I was refused a refund but ask to come in and get it fix with the same cheap polish. Please don't waste your money here's read more

Nails look ok but they nickel and dime you to death. Don't believe the website prices. They will definitely pile charges on no matter what service you request. I had an appointment for 4 people, they only had 3 techs available at our scheduled appointment time so one of us was just sitting there waiting on the other 3. One appointment that should have been $25 was $35 because of the length and shape of nails. The nails in question are about the size of a dime from cuticle to tip and "coffin" shape. 2nd appointment should have been $25 and was $28 because of the length. They are the same length as the first set. I guess the individual tech decides how much to upcharge? 3rd appointment was supposed to be $28 and actually charged correctly. 4th appointment of course didn't happen. read more

I stumbled upon this nail salon through google search. I booked a appointment for 11 and was immediately sat down at arrival which is awesome to me because normally other salons make you wait. I am four days out for my wedding in New Orleans and I was extremely nervous because this is a new salon...well to make a long story short I am beyond happy and extremely impressed by the work Jenny ,my nail tech did for me. She really takes pride in her work and she was very OCD about making sure everything was perfect and every nail matched. She kept saying how important it was to her that my nails were perfect and she even gave me two free accent nails. She is truly a talented artist and beautiful and kind person i 120% recommend Jenny and this salon. read more

I have been to this salon a few times with my cousins. When I first went I was ready to make this my regular nail place but after coming here a few times, definitely not. The service here is bad after they get used to you, I wasted so much money and time getting a chrome nail polish service done here and when I went to another salon to have them fixed they thought I had crackle polish ....smh. Chrome that looks like crackle. They only give you a free eyebrow for checking in the first time you go to get you to write a good Yelp review and then when you do, they don't care about you as a customer anymore. Will not be going back read more

When I first went here a couple years ago the customer service was great. Very pleasant atmoaphere, now the last few times I have gone the environment is changing no free waxing spending over 35.00.. No vip card after 10 visits you get 20.00 off..these kind of awards would make me go back as a recurring customer.. I believe managment changed and so did the place.. read more

I came here with my teenage daughter to get our eyebrows done. This was not my 1st time but was my last. The young woman with tattood and heavily penciled in eyebrows was very short and rude to us. She did a quick and horrible job on my brows. She hastily waxed them and used a cheap plastic eyebrow shaper to clean them up. Horrible. She was done in 3 minutes. They looked like they hadn't been done at all. She was in a rush to tend to other customers. I tried to show her what I wasnt happy with and she went from nice and soft spoken to combative and ghetto. She said she thought we were going to be quick thats why she took us back. I would've waited if it meant doing my brows correctly and not rushing. The way she talked to me was so uncalled for. In front of my young daughter. She wanted to get to her other customers. I get it but I am a customer also. Right? I asked to speak to her Mgr and she rolled her neck and said she was the mgr. I am not sure how a business can operate as such. Zero customer service. I did not want to give my money to someone so ignorant. So disrespectful. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. I WILL NEVER RETURN. Terrible work and attitude to top it off. read more

Love the quiet, relaxing atmosphere. Ms Debbie is the best at what she does and the prices are very reasonable!

Very friendly staff, quick but very well done service, also lots of colors to choose from (both gel and regular)! Highly recommend!

This salon has cheap product that doesnt last. The first time i came here was to get my eyelashes done last year for a wedding in puerto rico. This was on a thurs. by sat am ( the day of the wedding ) the lashes had almost fallen off completely. Only the ends were still hanging on. Tues when returning i went in to show them and they acted like i must have wet my face alot. , but they fixed. A few days later same issue. This year i decided to give it a try again and talk to them about which lashes might work better. Of course it was the 50 dollar ones. The owner stated that these would look better and last longer ... NOT! Sat got them done. Monday morning they were half off. No wet face or eyes. I couldnt get in untill tues. when i arrived they were nice and greeted me untill i told them the problem. I stated that this was not the first occurrence with this. After a few minutes of them talking to each other i was told to come back in 20 min and they will fix for me. I came back in 20 min and the lady said " well her client decided to get eyelashes also so u have to wait 35-45 more minutes!!! What ? I argued this was ridiculous and that i was already told a time and they need to fix me first. I have already paid for this service that was not acceptable. She said she has to ask the client ??? Long story short the lady agreed to let them fix me first after saying smart comments to the employee about me not being patient. Worst place to go ever ! Do not get your eyelashes done here. They just take your money and do a crappy job so u have to come back and pay again. read more
