Make sure you look at the price list before coming. There's a lot of nickel and dime charges. For example, there's a charge to remove the gel for a fill in on top of the fill in price... $5 for french, $3 for cut down. I came to get a gel fill in and my toes repolished (no pedicure) and paid $112. Nick was cool. But just from observation they aren't friendly to their customers. I witnessed them laugh in a customers face when she expressed concern about something. When Nick asked me if I wanted to cut my toes down I initially said yes, but then I said actually no and he laughed and said something to the girl beside him and they both laughed. Other than that he was pretty patient and based off the other reviews it doesn't seem like that's the case for the majority. When I was checking out, the lady asked me how I would like to pay and I said card. I am standing there waiting for her to show me where to pay and she says "Ma'am?" and I continue to look at her because im not sure why she's saying ma'am. She says, "right here" impatiently and picks up card machine that's hiding all the way to the left as if I were suppose to know where it was. Nick calmly showed me where to pay. I paid, asked for a price list so that I can show you all. I know it can be embarrassing as they get very defensive when you ask what you're paying for. There is prices on the screen that tells you what you're paying for either and I feel like that's something each customer should know. I feel like they also should be informing customers that there is a price to take off the polish they already have before they do it. What would be better is if they provide customers with the price list when they come into the door. I have no idea how much their fill in cost. It's not on the list. But I know $112 is a price for typically a full set of nails and a pedicure. This was my first time here and I can confidently say I won't be back. I think this is one of those salons where if you get someone that's good (like Kevin from what I've read) then you stick with them and you'll be happy coming here. read more

New Ridiculous pricing. The manicure price now does not include SHAPING the nails. That's a $5 up charge. which is different than a cut down which is also an up charge. And the staff person "explaining" this was dismissive and condescending. Will not be going back. read more

We went to Clover on a Friday, which seems to be a busier time to go. We were seated within about 5 minutes, so the wait wasn't bad. We all got full sets, and I got a pedicure. I'm diabetic so I'm always a little reluctant to get my feet done. Because one cut can lead to a bunch of issues, which has occurred in the past. The girl who did my feet was nice, but she didn't understand what I was saying. So when she clipped my cuticles it was a little painful. I needed this pedicure,be so I sucked it up. Besides the pain, she did a good job. My feet were smooth afterwards, and my little piggies were looking brand new. Lol. Our full sets went pretty smoothly. My tech Lana was nice also. We conversed and she made me feel comfortable. I didn't understand what she was saying at times , so when we discussed the shape, she said square square, and I said yes! Well now my nails are ultra squared and it's my fault. Lol. They kinda look like teeth. Lesson learned. I really like their glitter gel polishes and all the color choices. I chose green and red, which afterwards I realized looked really Christmas like. Lol. But I did sorta like them. Picking colors takes me forever. My girls nails looked really good. Their techs did good jobs, and they were happy. I like Clover because they get you in and out. The nail techs are nice, and it was clean inside. I'd return for future fills. It's pretty pricey nowadays. A pedicure and full set will run you about $100 , but I guess that's the standard now. But I do enjoy being pampered, so it was worth it. Check them out!! read more

HORRIBLE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER !!! If I could give this place zero stars I would . I went in today trying to get a fill in for my nails and a pedicure. The pedicure had a few mess ups but that's not the issue here . When I sat down with the nail artist "ooh" is his name . I told him what I wanted to get and he started off by saying " your nails will look weird and ugly " if I did them how it looked in the picture. Mind you it was a simple pink cat eye , my sister was with me and her nail artist did a wonderful job but my mine on the other hand had to much attitude for a person who works in customer service. I gave mr.ooh a chance to do my nails when he couldn't do what was in my photo I asked if he can do what the other artist did to my sisters nails . He immediately rolled his eyes and sighed saying that he did what was in the picture. But I tried giving him another option to give him another chance instead of telling him that he sucks at doing cat eye . After he couldn't do it a second time I gave him a third chance and told him if he could just do a simple French tip with the pink , he proceeded to say it wouldn't look good . I don't believe he should be saying things like that and putting a customer down . So after he said that I told him to just remove the pink polish so that he could just do a French tip because my sister had already pre paid $360 dollars for our nails . When I thought he was going to do my French tip he rolled his eyes again and said I wasted 2 hrs but it was less than 40 minutes trying to get him to accomplish something presentable . After that eyeroll and sass I was done. I asked him calmly as anyone can if he can just remove my nails and soak them off and give my sister her refund so that I can get serviced by someone else . In the middle of me talking he snips off my nails leaving me with nubs and gives my sister back some cash and not a full refund. So we called the boss and he was no better he took his coworkers side and told me " what the hell you want me to do . You wasted 2hrs of his time not deciding ". I think that is a horrible way for a boss of a salon to talk to a customer and he for sure is not setting a good example for his employees. I didn't not waste 2hrs of his time it was the other way around I was being way to nice and giving Mr.ooh many chances to fix his mistakes. STAY AWAY AT ALL COST . DO NOT GO HERE. Do not let the guy who has kitty cat stickers on his light machine work on your nails. All the nails will chip and pop off. This was the worst experience I've ever had while getting a pedicure. I came in with gel toes and gems that I wanted taken off and i asked for gel white toes. I was very excited to go here because it was rated 4.9 on google and there was a long wait so I assumed i was about to get a cute set for the end of summer. As I sat down the young man instantly comments on the gems, I asked if they are hard to take off and he says yes. I say im so sorry im literally never getting them again. He pulls out a tool to rip them off. When that didn't work he's starts drilling them down along with the other gel nails. It was very painful and I kept pulling my leg away. So he calls another guy over, this man in a rude tone asked where i got my nails done and I say alchemy at Lynnhaven (wish I went there yesterday) he then looks annoyed with me. This guy ROUGHLY grabs my right foot squeezing it tightly, I smiled hoping it would calm him and he says to not move because I can hurt him. At this point im in tears trying to not fully cry. I'm trembling in the chair and as he finish grinding and RIPPING the gems off, he's like that's going to be $10 extra. During that entire interaction with the guy who "helped" other workers came and stared at my feet making comments in another language like this was the first time they ever saw gems on toes. I was asked if I'd liked my nails cut down and when I replied no they started pointing at my big toes and the nail and in another language they made comments. I have really bad anxiety and social anxiety especially, trying to keep a panic attack at bay was nearly impossible. Near the end the guy actually doing my pedicure asked me if my right foot looked good and at the time it looked fine, there was no goopy nail polish that I could see. But when he got to the left side he had to re do it multiple times, another coworker came over to give advice then he takes a foot scrub, scrubs the nail polish... then puts polish over that. I'm left with goopy, bubbly, textured nails. I'm am so disappointed. It looks horrible and I completely regret tipping. These people are rude, the atmosphere / vibe is off and I will never go back here. Had a pedicure today and the price was given was 68.00 which had gone up. That was not the problem, when the service was completed they added an additional 20.00. She then said, "oh we now add 10 dollars for both removal of the prior Gel and adding the new Gel." This was never discussed prior. Terrible experience. Got my nails done on Friday and by Saturday the builder gel was already lifting. I came back on Sunday morning to see if it could be fixed. Was told someone would be right with me. After watching two ladies that came in after me be seated (and about 30 mins) I asked when I'd be serviced. The gentleman at the front then told me that this lifting was natural (after only two days, mind you). He then told me they would have to charge me half price to correct it. I ended up walking away because I'd already spent $128 plus tip for a subpar builder gel fill in and gel pedicure. They weren't even friendly to begin with so I would 1000% not recommend. read more

If I could give a rating of '0' I would. We were immediately greeted by one of the nail techs sitting in a pedicure chair with his bare feet on the chair asking us what services we wanted. The nail techs working on my family's pedicures (my husband, daughter, and myself) were friendly. But the lady whom we believe is the owner or manager (she was sitting behind the register with her kids) came to my husband's chair (while he was waiting for me to wrap up my pedicure) told him twice "you need to get up" while flipping the chair arm up, abruptly and rudely. He said "okay" the first time she demanded. The nail tech who worked on him told him he could sit there until my daughter and I were done, so he was a little shocked when the lady demanded he get up.
