The pizza joint equivalent of your favorite hoodie: not fancy, but it always delivers…read more If you're after linen tablecloths and curated wine list, keep driving. But if you want solid, no-nonsense pizza at a price that doesn't make your wallet cry--Padrino's II is your jam. I can feed my whole family for under $35, tip included. Try pulling that off at a chain and see what kind of sadness shows up in a greasy box. This is a true mom-and-pop operation: no corporate gimmicks, just reliable, above-average pizza made by folks who've clearly done this a thousand times before. Delivery? Always 45-60 minutes. Never faster, never slower. Hoping for a 30-minute miracle? You must be new here. The dine-in vibe? Let's call it seasoned. Clean freaks might raise an eyebrow, but the hometown feel and genuinely kind staff make up for the scuffed floors and décor straight out of a 1993 pizza calendar. Bottom line: better than most chain joints, cheaper than therapy, and reliably comforting. Padrino's II is a Stafford classic for a reason.

I guess I wasn't the only one who remembered the amazing woodbridge restaurant and got burned giving the new iteration a try. Prices were insane and ingredient proportions were not correct. I get everything is expensive but I can feed a family five guys for the price of a mediocre sub. Sorry it's over, because this place was a core childhood memory. But it seems they just never worked thru their issues and got things rolling. Compared to the old mannys moon and the old family pizza they took over for this new location, they had huge shoes to fill and failed.

In all the years I've been going I've only had the Vinny's Calzone or the Bellybuster Stromboli. They're both great and get 5 stars every time. Last night I chose to deviate from my norm and order something different. I went with one of the specials, Tomato Farfalle Pasta Alfredo with Sausage. Not the best dish. The pasta and alfredo were good after adding pepper and a little salt. But the sausage was a big disappointment. It had no taste. The dish was a miss. On a positive note, the complimentary starter bread is delicious.

I saw that they had a printable menu so you could sit down and look, but I didn't see it until after I panic ordered! I settled for a combo, half salad and a half sandwich. I guess I didn't read the small print where you had to be selective about the salad, so I ended up getting a Caesar salad and then I tried the chipotle avocado chicken sandwich. I also got a side of potatoes which were crispy and very delicious. The side costs extra, which was as bummer cause some places give you a side for free. The sandwich was good and had a huge chunk of chicken on it. The salad was fresh and crispy. It was pretty busy for a Wednesday night, but there was plenty of seating. All of the staff that I encountered were very friendly, they were very quick to clean our table as we finished with dishes, and I also bought a piece of bread pudding to take home, which was amazing as well.
