Gary is the only one that works on saxophones, so his list can get pretty long, especially during the summer months when school is out. However, he always does his best to fit you in and work with your schedule. The work he does is fantastic! He's put some new pads on with the kangaroo skin he works with and recently did an overhaul of the right hand and I've noticed such a huge difference in my ease of playing the low notes. I kept thinking it was me the whole time until he fixed it up and now I'm playing great! No need for an appointment, you can just show up with your instrument. If you are on a deadline though, I would call to see how his list is looking and why your projected turnaround time is.

With Godard Oviedo what you see is what you get and they practice what they preach. Aside from the personal narratives of the people who recommended it I witnessed with my own eyes when we were on tour how caring the staff is of each and every child including the director Scott who picked up a kid who seemed visibly upset when we passed by him and comforted him as if it were his own child. The ladies at the front desk know each kid and parent and treat them with concern and affection. They are always kind and cheerful. Since my toddler began going there I have seen drastic improvement in areas of language, creativity, fine motor skills, and most importantly sleep. She no longer needs to be rocked to sleep. Best part is she also is starting to potty train thanks to her teachers. The love and care for our little ones is obvious and it extends to how well taken care of the facilities are. The location is fairly new and all of the spaces look it. Everything is cleaned and sanitized regularly. They even remain open during Covid and have maintained a standard of health. The one thing parents should know is that they do not serve lunch here but you can opt into a catered meal service. They also don't have a a microwave so the kids lunch has to be shelf or temp stable from early morning drop off until the afternoon. They do not have cameras in the classrooms for parents to log into but you do get pictures and sometimes videos throughout the day in an app and you get a daily report.

I was also having some issues with the electronics, and he offered some good options for replacing them. I couldn't be more pleased with the result. When I picked up the guitar after all of that work (new frets, pickup, pre-amp, and set-up), RJ spent more than an hour with me making sure the set-up was just the way I wanted. He told me to play it hard for a couple of weeks and come back if there were any issues. Make sure you read the website and understand the process for working with them. This is not a big corporation with a back room full of amateur guitar techs. This is a small business with legit luthiers who do fantastic work.

I just had them do a set up on my 60 Fender Musicmaster and they did a super great job. I love finding and supporting neighborhood music shops. The people who run and operate Amp'd are extremely approachable, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to - there's zero attitude. I brought my old Silvertone for a set up due to the great work on my Fender. Their shop has a real laid back, homey vibe and they even have a clean bathroom. They have a solid selection of affordable Fenders, PRS's, Dan Electros and more. They also have a good selection of basses and a very nice selection of effects at all prices. All the amps have chords attached so you can plug right in to try out the gear. I strongly believe in supporting small music shops like Amp'd. If you want an affordable guitar or need some work on your vintage guitar please run down to Amp'd and also pick up some strings, "stomp boxes" or guitar straps. They don't sell vintage guitars but they will be happy to talk to You about them and recommend shops that do. Discovering Amp'd has been a real high point in my move to Orlando.

When we entered they were so grateful that we were there. I was happy to be supporting the arts in addition to supporting a non-profit. They have snacks and drinks for sale and there is seating available for you to listen and vibe with the musicians. After the first set, musicians can sign up to play on stage which I thought was really cool. There are so many talented musicians in central Florida! I hope more people know about these events to support the arts. We had a really good time!
