I have spent several nights at Studio 5-6-7-8 watching the instructors teach her proper form and technique. The instructors care for all the children in and out of the classes. They are excellent teachers. When I was a teenager, I was the older brother that followed my sister to her dance classes and finally joined her (it is a great selling point telling a teenage boy that they get to dance with girls). After a few years, my sister and I joined the Twin Cities Ballet Company. Unfortunately, when I moved to Florida, I stopped dancing because I was accepted to join the St Petersburg Ballet Company but I could not move to the area and then could not find anywhere to dance when I was in the area I had moved to. Listening to the instructors, I hear them talk to the students like my instructors taught me. They are very professional and respectful to the children. Several years ago, my son has started taking classes for Drums and joined the Studio Rock Band as the drummers. Mr Micheal has taught my son appreciation for his instrument and encouraged him to also learn to play the guitar. Also, Studio 5-6-7-8 always have wonderful and entertaining Recitals at the end of the school year. As someone that knows what it takes to learn for quality dance teachers, I can completely recommend Studio 5-6-7-8 to anyone. It is a pleasure watching my children and all the other students learning to enjoy music and dance. I hope that they will keep up their love for this all through their lives. Thank you to all the instructors for making this difference for my children.

If you live in the Kissimmee/Poinciana area, you will not find a more organized, professional, quality and affordable dance school. The owners, Julie and Michael, genuinely care about their students and sacrifice so many hours to create the perfect atmosphere for their business. My daughter became a skilled dancer and more importantly, she gained confidence and learned discipline. Ms. Julie's no nonsense policies are just what parents need to keep from falling into the "dance drama" pit. The annual recital has become a broadway quality show worth every penny. We really miss this school and I would recommend it to anyone!

The studio does a lot of classes at the local elementary school and that's how we were introduced to them. For the past two years my girls have done jazz one day a week at Eagle Creek elementary and supplemental classes at their studio. This is actually a really good way to introduce your kids to "real" dance classes without the full blown commitment of 3 days a week at the studio when you're not sure if it's going to be their bag or not. The instructors I've met were all nice and did a good job working with kids. My only question is why on earth are we required to pay $125+ on a recital dress in September for a recital in May. My guess would be some level of commitment from the parents or if the kids quit they still sold a costume. I'm not sure, but I can say that my "beef" is having to shell this money out at the very beginning of the school year when we're already getting milked dry. Just business I guess, but not of a convenience for me by any means. If not for his slightly shady feeling racket they are good, like I said thy "all" may do this to cover their bum but it makes me feel iffy every year when we cut that check for $250+ for dresses. (Note: You still have to buy recital tickets at $20 each l; that's. It part of the $125 dress) Look on Groupon for a starter coupon

She serves as a mentor to her students who want to pursue the arts both at school and as a potential career. It's refreshing to see she values her student's opinions and recommendations for improvements, shows and camps. Highly recommend this school to any parent seeking a positive and enriching experience for their child!

My favorite part is the new, custom floors they made to absorb the shock on your knees and hips from leaping and jumping. The instructors are bubbly and fun. The dancers are spaced out during the lesson and are instructed to like up at the bathroom to wash their hands after each class. I watched the barres being sanitized after every class. We picked the day that the rainbow jellyfish was going to be painted. You can pick a single day, or the whole week for a discounted rate. $48 included tax, 3 hours of instruction (you send your child with water and a snack), and a huge canvas to take home at the end! There was even enough time to allow the kids to pick out a small wooden or ceramic piece to paint as well (my child chose the Christmas tree). This place is easy to find via GPS and has plenty of parking. Inside, there are many painted canvases hung up showcasing all of the beautiful artwork done in the studio. This place also does birthday parties, private events and more! My child loved the experience and we are going to hang up her artwork on the wall in her bedroom. This experience is recommended for kids aged 6-12 years.

I'm honestly baffled that the establishment is called "Painting with a Twist" because to me that insinuates there will be alcohol but I did not know this location was bring your own bottle. I've been to other paint and sip places that either provide the wine or at least have a selection to purchase. Considering that it's BYOB, I feel that the value does not match the price you pay for the class. When we arrived, the canvases were already set up and you were assigned a seat, so you did not get to chose whether you wanted to be closer to the front where the instructor was. My friend and I were placed towards the back, and although they did have TVs around that streamed the instructor live, they were a bit too small and low quality to really make out the details. I was also surprised to see the image we were painting was already draw on the canvas, which I'm sure it's for the sake of time but I personally find it more fun to be instructed step by step to create the painting from scratch. The instructions also felt a tiny bit rushed as I was struggling to keep up, but that could have just been me being too much of a perfectionist. I enjoyed that the instructor took breaks to do trivia and allow people to catch up! One of the instructors had read the books and you could tell she had a passion for Fourth Wing. I also appreciated that they came around and assisted with anyone who needed help. While our main instructor who was painting with us did a phenomenal job, I was a bit distracted by the other instructor who was on her phone every once in a while when she was not waking around assisting people with their paintings. Overall, I had fun but the experience was just ok to me, definitely not what I was expecting for paying almost $50. I was really excited for this, and a little sad that the experience feel short for me.
